yokayoka
I visited this place after a long time. There are 3 table seats, 4 counter seats, and several tatami seats, and it's always bustling with locals, such as office workers, students having parties, families with children, and couples. This time, I sat at the counter and started with a toast with a draft beer. I ordered a Caesar salad and "mix tempura (okonomiyaki)". I usually only eat monjayaki, but this time I decided to try okonomiyaki. However, I forgot that okonomiyaki takes longer to cook than monjayaki, and the wait was quite long. I regretted not ordering more snacks while waiting. I moved on to my second beer while waiting for the okonomiyaki to cook. When the okonomiyaki was finally done, it was fluffy and crispy! It had shrimp, squid, pork, and more, and was very satisfying and delicious! Next, I had monjayaki. I originally planned to eat two pieces, but I was quite full from the okonomiyaki, so I only had one piece of monjayaki today. Of course, I went with the classic "mentaiko mochi monja" with a topping of cheese! After eating the monjayaki, I was full. The total bill for 5 draft beers, Caesar salad, okonomiyaki, and monjayaki came to 4,400 yen. Tsukishima monjayaki is delicious, but I still prefer the reasonably priced monjayaki that you can eat in the local area. I would like to visit again.
