The location of the restaurant is about an 8-minute walk from the north exit of Narimasu Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. I arrived at 1:44 PM on this day. I was worried that I might have arrived too late and missed the lunch service, but it seems like they are still open. Phew, what a relief! Sometimes it can be crowded if you come during the noon rush hour, so maybe it's actually good that I arrived a bit late. When I entered the restaurant, it was completely empty. Well, I did come right at the end of the lunch service, so that's probably why. The restaurant is run by a couple whose age is hard to guess. There are mainly counter seats (14 seats) and a few table seats (two tables for 4 people each). The lunch menu has a wide variety of options, making it hard to choose. Today, I ordered the "Small Shrimp and Mushroom Tomato Cream Spaghetti (820 yen)." First, they brought bread, salad, and soup. Here, the spaghetti comes as a set unless you specify otherwise. You can also order it as a single item (160 yen cheaper), but the set is definitely recommended because for just 160 yen more, you get bread, salad, soup, and a drink, making it a great deal. The bread is garlic toast, with three thick slices of baguette that are served hot. For those with a small appetite, this bread, salad, and soup might be enough to fill you up! The salad is a green salad with lettuce, sunny lettuce, tomato, and corn, dressed with a dressing that resembles Riken's green shiso dressing. The soup is a peppery wakame soup. I really like the soup here. Then, the spaghetti arrived. The Small Shrimp and Mushroom Tomato Cream Spaghetti has a decent portion size, with about 130g of dry noodles. The sauce is a mix of tomato and cream sauce, with the tomato sauce being slightly stronger. It has a rich flavor. The best part is that it's loaded with ingredients! There are plenty of small shrimp and shimeji mushrooms in it. The pasta is cooked just right. After finishing the meal, the owner brought me a drink. You can choose from a few options for the set drink, and I chose the classic iced coffee. Even in the cold winter, I always go for iced coffee... (laughs) Overall, the lunch here is quite filling. And all of this for 820 yen (tax included) is a great deal.
