Rilakkuma is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and a Rilakkuma Cafe has made a limited-time comeback. I paid a reservation fee of 715 yen to secure my spot because it's recommended. When you make a reservation, you get a small clear file as a souvenir. You can't choose the design. Now, onto the food. I couldn't decide, so I ordered the "Rilakkuma Honey Mustard Hamburger" for 1870 yen (including 10% tax) and the "Choose Your Ice Cream and Box-Shaped Cream Bread" for 1430 yen (including 10% tax). Looks are everything. I wasn't expecting much in terms of taste. But the honey mustard had a nice flavor (lol). For the ice cream and cream bread, I chose Rilakkuma ice cream, which was caramel flavored. The face was a bit messy, and it was a bit disappointing that they served it already poured over. Also, the bread was incredibly dry, even with the cream on top.

I went to the Rilakkuma Cafe. The cream pasta was tastier than I had imagined. I deducted one star because I didn't receive water until after finishing my meal. Payment options included cash, credit card, and QR code. The interior of the restaurant is cozy and small.

BOX CAFE&SPACE stands out with its collaborative design even in the small alley leading to the entrance. The spacious interior and two restrooms are convenient features. Whenever there is a collaboration event at this cafe, I always make sure to visit.

I made a reservation two months ago and visited the Harry Potter cafe from July 22 to September 12, 2021. The limited-time menu included Herbology Salad, Shepherd's Pie, HAPPEE BIRTH DAE Cake, Magic Trunk Cake, and smoothies representing the four Hogwarts houses. The food was rich and delicious! The pie had a chickpea-heavy filling and was stamped with a design. Decorating the cake with chocolate pens was fun, although the coloring was strong and left a green tint around the mouth! When I visited, all the sandwich lunch boxes were sold out, so it's important to reserve early for collaboration cafes. It can be challenging, but it's worth it. I went to the Nyankuma Cafe at LINE Stamps. You can choose from 4 types of pasta and soup each, and I chose clam chowder and fettuccine. I also ordered a drink (shortcake latte) and a dessert waffle. The taste was normal to good. As expected, it's expensive with the merchandise included, it's tough for students. It would be nice if it was a little cheaper.

I heard that the collaboration cafe with Rilakkuma has started, so I made a reservation right away! The cafe is called "OMOTESANNDO BOX CAFF&SPACE", which previously held a collaboration cafe with B-project. This time, the theme is Rilakkuma and kitten series. The cafe is filled with Rilakkuma decorations, and the menu includes dishes like Rilakkuma Nyannyan Gapao Plate and Rilakkuma Omurice Gratin with rich American sauce. I ordered the Rilakkuma Ichigo Choco Drink with colorful tapioca and it was deliciously sweet. The cafe is so popular and well-decorated, making it a must-visit for Rilakkuma fans!

Recently, I visited the popular collaboration cafe space, Omotesando Box, which specializes in (mostly) collaboration cafes. I was excited to hear that my favorite Usamaru Cafe will be held in the fall! The interior of the cafe is filled with Usamaru's theme, with an original anime projected on a big screen, similar to the one in Shinjuku Box. However, I felt that the staff's attitude was better at the Shinjuku location. The menu has been transformed to feature autumn flavors such as kamameshi and pumpkin salad. However, the taste of the dishes this time was not quite satisfying. Each dish, including the Usamaru bun, was a bit dry. I understand that this collaboration cafe focuses on appearance, but I wish the taste was better. I hope they will have menus collaborated with famous brands in the future! Thank you for the meal.

Today, I went to the Usamaru Cafe with my wife because she loves Usamaru, who is currently holding a limited-time event. We couldn't get in right away even though we had a reservation. After about 20 minutes, we were finally able to get in. We were told that we couldn't place any additional orders. We ordered three kamameshi and a Mont Blanc for dessert. After another 30 minutes, the three kamameshi and Mont Blanc arrived at the same time! I have no intention of commenting on the taste at a place like this, but at least they could have been more considerate about the order in which the food was served. Usamaru was cute though! Good job! I'm curious about what kind of collaboration they will do next time!

I had been looking forward to the day I had pre-booked for a long time♡ Often with character-themed places, it ends early, and it was tough to go in Tokyo, but there was a 20:20 slot so I could easily go after work! After arriving in Harajuku, I had some time, so I went shopping at the Sailor Moon official shop in Laforet Harajuku before heading to the restaurant. I haven't really wandered down side streets much, so it was a bit quiet and a little scary, but I arrived safely. I got there at 20:15, but had to wait about 10 minutes to get in. It was smaller than I expected, and the system was to buy goods in order of the ticket number. I didn't have high expectations for character-themed food, but it was pretty delicious♡ Even though the coloring made my tongue turn blue, it was super cute and my mood was lifted, and I was able to buy goods and was very satisfied.

This time, the Granblue Fantasy collaboration cafe is themed after a beach house, even though there is no beach in Harajuku. The cafe offers limited edition goods that can only be purchased by cafe customers, a common practice in collaboration cafes. Customers at the cafe will receive an original fan featuring Granblue Fantasy illustrations. By reserving a seat in advance on the cafe's official website, customers can receive a random original clear poster out of 6 designs. The advance reservation price is ¥650 (excluding tax), but the actual payment amount including fees was higher when paid through internet payment at a convenience store. The cafe operates from 11 am on weekdays until August 27, with a time limit of 80 minutes per seating for food, purchasing original goods, and taking photos inside the cafe. There is no limit on the purchase of goods during the first time slot on the opening day, but this may change in the future. Due to incidents at the Osaka venue, the collaboration drinks were replaced with soft drinks only, and the anticipated 6 elemental drinks were no longer available. The collaboration menu is inspired by the Granblue Fantasy game event "Midsummer Moment" but the event had already ended by the opening day of the Tokyo venue. The food ordered was Perceval's Tear-Peel Onion Steak, priced at ¥1390 (excluding tax), and came with an iced oolong tea. The food consisted of sautéed onions, steak cubes, sautéed vegetables, and cabbage. The dish was based on a scene where Perceval struggled to peel onions during the event. The dish was quite intense for those who are not fond of onions. The coaster received with the food and drink orders had a print of Midsummer Perceval. The steak was tender, and the rice served with it was of decent quality. The iced oolong tea was priced shockingly high at ¥630, replacing the elemental drinks. Other menu items included cold noodles, Eggs Benedict, shaved ice, and parfaits, with cold noodles being a safe choice for a meal.

Shiroko, who loves B-project, heard that a collaboration cafe was being held and went there immediately. The entrance to "OMOTESANDO BOX" was a little hard to find. The shop itself was located underground. On this day, it was reservation only. It's convenient that you can make reservations for collaboration cafes these days! It's tough to line up early in the morning for a numbered ticket... During the admission process, we were given the menu, placed our order in advance, and entered the shop. One drink and one food item order were mandatory. Yay!! The luncheon mat has moons on it!! Shiroko is a fan of Teijin-kun, so I ordered both the drink and food items of moonS. With the drink order, you get a coaster. These are distributed randomly. Since it was January 14th, I couldn't get Teijin-kun, but the lady next to me (or young lady?) exchanged it with me!! Amazing!! The curry had a printed wafer on top. Surprisingly, it was quite filling! It had chicken in it, which was juicy and tender. The shop was playing B-project songs the whole time... Shiroko was in heaven. Shiroko feels like she's been doing otaku activities a lot lately... Shiroko's blog is here! http://kapilog.yutabi.net/

The opening period of Usamaru Cafe Tokyo has been extended until 3/5/2017, with the addition of new menu items starting from 2/11. This time, the original coaster special benefit was given upon entering the cafe. The total price, including tax, for the ordered items, Churururur Butter Chicken Curry Udon for ¥1380 and Wish-Granting Parfait for ¥1280, was ¥2872. The curry udon contained carrots, spinach, fried tofu, and chicken, with a curry that had a butter chicken curry color. It had a slightly spicy taste but was within the range that even girls who don't like spicy food could eat. The parfait was a matcha-centered Japanese-style parfait with matcha powder on matcha cream surrounded by matcha whipped cream. As you eat further, milk ice cream and sweet red bean paste appear, with mochi balls providing a cushion between the cream. The slightly bitter matcha powder was balanced out by the sweetness of the milk ice cream, but overall, it was quite sweet and heavy. The finishing touch was cornflakes. As long as it looks cute, there shouldn't be any issues.

Get off at Harajuku Station. Walk along the road towards Omotesando, passing Kiddieland and GYRE. Turn right after that and then turn left onto the next street. Head to the B1F cafe in the building ahead. They regularly hold collaborations with a wide range of genres, such as K-pop groups and butler-themed works in the past. Upon entering, you will find the merchandise sales area on the left and the cafe space on the right. From January 2017, the Usamaru Cafe is being held for a limited time until February 5, 2017. Usamaru is a popular character from LINE Sticker Creators. Reservations are required in advance through the official website, and web reservations come with an original eco-bag (including handling fee and tax for 1080 yen). If there are available seats, you can enter with a same-day ticket, but it's best to assume there won't be any due to the character's popularity. Merchandise purchases are limited to cafe users, following a system where you move to the merchandise sales area when your assigned number is called. You will receive a random original coaster upon entry, and the placemat at your designated seat will also have a random design. The cafe operates on an 80-minute rotation system, so you must finish your meal and merchandise purchases within that time. The walls inside the cafe are decorated with Usamaru-themed visuals, projected using a unique equipment directly onto the wall. On the first day of the collaboration cafe, I enjoyed the Usamaru-themed dishes. The food I ordered included Omelette Rice (1580 yen), Harvest Joy Cheesecake (1080 yen), and Usamaru Cocoa with Cookie (780 yen). I opted for the Omelette Rice and Cheesecake from past Usamaru cafes, as the new menu items didn't suit my taste preferences. The dishes were presented on plates featuring Usamaru prints. The Omelette Rice had a modern twist with demiglace sauce, served with a side of greens. The Cheesecake had a layered structure with crushed cocoa cookie, cheesecake, and sponge, with an orange paste between the layers. The Usamaru Cocoa was served in an adorable mug with a printed cookie. The portion was quite generous, and I found myself satisfied just sipping on the cocoa while waiting for the food.
