A restaurant where you can enjoy 25 different types of deep-fried skewers until you say stop. All the skewers have a gentle and delicious taste, and they are all very elaborate. It's a shame if you didn't know about this place before. The restaurant is filled with cute decorations. It gives you a sense of comfort like going back home. Yeah, I definitely want to go back to this place.

Yanana, a skewer specialty restaurant in the residential area of Sotobori, was visited for a dinner with friends after a long time. The restaurant only has a counter, which is a long C-shaped counter. Since there were 6 of us, we sat at the corner. We were served vegetable sticks as a starter, which was quite a lot, but since it was skewers, eating raw vegetables in between helped refresh our palates. There is only an omakase (chef's choice) course available, so dishes kept coming one after another. If you have any dislikes or allergies, you can inform them in advance and they will replace the ingredients for you. This time, I tried shirako (milt) as a skewer for the first time, and it was really delicious. The sea urchin was also from Rishiri and very rich. They said it was the highest quality used for sushi. Despite being skewers, they were easy to eat and not too heavy. It was a pretty good restaurant. I would like to visit again if I have the chance to go to this area.

Accompanied by my initiative, I visited this place and I have never had such delicious deep-fried skewers before! Despite the fact that the owner is running the place alone, he provides each person with a pace that suits them, and his kindness in draining the oil and cooling down the heat means that you won't burn yourself even if you take a bite as soon as it's served. Also, the crunchy lemon sour is limited in quantity.

I casually passed by and decided to revisit this place. I went with the chef's choice menu. I had shrimp with shiso, beef fillet with mustard seeds, cheese tomato, daikon (tastes like simmered daikon in oden), trefoil wrapped in kisu fish, sardine meatballs, edamame (not sweet, made into a paste), mashed potatoes with herb butter, cod roe, squid with sea urchin on top, octopus (with pickled ginger inside and seaweed tsukudani on top), ginkgo nuts, kazunoko (sweetly cooked), quail eggs (soft boiled), Manzanilla peppers stuffed with sichuan pepper, eringi mushrooms with cream cheese and raw ham, served with raw vegetables like cabbage, daikon, carrot, and cucumber. The batter is light and finely textured, so you can eat a lot without feeling heavy. The combination of ingredients is interesting, and they offer a variety of unique skewers that you can't find elsewhere. The cost performance is also good.

Deep-fried skewers (11 pieces) and one hot sake for about 4,000 yen, a reasonable price. The appetizer is crunchy fresh cabbage and vegetable sticks. The skewers have interesting and tasteful seasonings, and some are cooked with an extra touch to bring out the flavors of the ingredients. Overall, it is a satisfying restaurant with a high level of satisfaction.

In April 2019, Mi-Nana is a sincere restaurant. It has a pleasant atmosphere, but it is disappointing that there are few choices of alcohol. The menu includes shrimp with perilla, beef tenderloin, tomato cheese, daikon radish, sardine, scallop, octopus, potato, mitsuba, sea urchin squid, whelk, quail egg, oyster, asparagus, edamame, cream cheese wrapped in ham with eryngii mushrooms, sandfish roe, and green onion. The ratings range from 5.0 for a divine experience with surprising prices, to 1.0 for needing improvement, and 0.5 for the worst experience.

The skewer restaurant in front of the shrine is still as random as ever. I stumbled upon this place while wandering around the street feeling good vibes. I decided to go in without a reservation and greeted the chef behind the counter. The place had a sophisticated atmosphere with attention to detail in decor and cutlery, so I knew the food must be delicious. The system was to eat until you're full and then stop. I started with fresh vegetables and ended up eating a lot of skewers. It was a surprising but enjoyable experience. If you ever find yourself in the neighborhood, definitely give it a try!

After leaving Jingu Stadium, I wandered around looking for a place to eat and ended up at a tempura skewer restaurant called Yashichi. It's located near the Watari Museum of Contemporary Art. Although I had passed by the front of the restaurant before, this was my first time stepping inside. It's a stylish space with only a counter. The system seemed to be that you keep eating tempura skewers until you say stop. I enjoyed some fresh vegetables while eagerly waiting for the tempura skewers to arrive. I had tempura skewers with a highball. The ice-cold highball in a sherbet-like texture was delicious. The relatively small-sized tempura skewers were not just fried ingredients but also had sea urchin or salmon roe on top, or were topped with miso or tartar sauce, showing some attention to detail. The tempura skewer with sea urchin on top of grated yam was particularly tasty. It was so good that I could have kept eating more. I had planned on just having a quick drink, but I ended up eating quite a lot due to the enticing "omakase" (chef's choice) option. It's a good choice for post-Jingu dining.

I met my brother after a long time and we decided to have a chat at a restaurant we found. We entered the restaurant around 9 pm. It was located on a quiet street across from the Watari Museum of Contemporary Art in Aoyama. From the outside, it looked like a traditional Japanese izakaya with bamboo blinds, but inside, it had a somewhat upscale feel. Despite that, it had a casual atmosphere. We didn't know what kind of restaurant it was when we entered, but it turned out to be a tempura skewer restaurant. It was my first time trying tempura skewers. The place was a counter-only restaurant, and the dim lighting made it look mysterious. There were quite a few customers, including couples and groups of friends. We didn't know the rules of eating tempura skewers, so we were unsure where to put the used skewers. The system seemed to be omakase, where the skewers kept coming one after another. Since we had already eaten dinner, we couldn't eat too much. The skewers had various vegetables and ingredients covered in batter and fried. They all looked the same from the outside, so we couldn't tell what was inside. The owner mumbled something about each skewer, but we couldn't always understand him. We dipped the skewers in sauce or salt before eating. They tasted good at first, but we quickly got tired of them and stopped after about 6 skewers. It wasn't as expensive as we had expected. Considering its location, it was probably a reasonably priced restaurant.

The parking lot has frames on Gaien Nishi Street. The location is one street off Gaien Nishi Street. The items received were shrimp and shiso, ham-wrapped green beans, octopus and cucumber, broccoli with mentaiko mayo, beef, quail eggs, pork-wrapped long yams, pork and cheese, squid, tomato and cheese, asparagus, smelt, negima (chicken and green onion skewers), lotus root stuffed with meat, cod roe, shiitake mushrooms stuffed with meat, and banana tempura with a crispy coating. The tempura coating is more like fried food than typical skewer tempura. The skewers are small and well-prepared, but unfortunately, the coating overpowers the ingredients. However, the cost performance is excellent, so at this price, it's not bad! The atmosphere is relaxed and local, with skewers coming out at a leisurely pace. Sometimes skewers come out at the table next to you but not at yours, or new customers start from a different point. But with 17 skewers and 3 drinks per person, it's around 3600 yen per person. This is a price where you can forgive many things!

Just like yesterday, I arrived at Jingu Stadium in the 4th inning, just like yesterday. The same scenario as yesterday, with a 2-point lead, but just like yesterday, the opposing team caught up to tie the game as soon as I arrived. I kept eating just like yesterday, and we ended up going into extra innings just like yesterday. But... unlike yesterday, we managed to avoid a walk-off loss. I was planning to refrain from drinking beer after the game if we lost, but since we didn't lose... it's all good, right? This restaurant is cheap and delicious. However, all the skewers look almost the same visually, so it's not really interesting to see them on a blog. Just like how a tie game can be interesting to watch, but not so much when you only think about the result. And delicious skewers may not be interesting to see on a blog either. They might be similar. So... I decided to take a bite before taking a picture! This way, it's more enjoyable to look at! Let's eat a bite of the skewer before taking a picture for the blog! That's what I thought.

After returning from a long journey, I decided to have a meal in the neighborhood. I felt like going to this restaurant, so I walked there. It was a little past 8 pm on a Saturday afternoon. The area had a number of hidden gem-like dining places. I ordered the chef's choice course for 2,350 yen. It included sashimi, spinach with sesame dressing, fresh vegetables, and 6 pieces of tempura. After that, more tempura kept coming until I signaled to stop. You can adjust the amount based on your stomach's condition, which is quite convenient. But I always end up eating too much... I had a draft Premium Malt beer. This place has a great selection of shochu and they really care about their alcohol. They also have a decent wine selection, but you can bring your favorite wine for a corkage fee of 2,000 yen. Very thoughtful. I started with fried horse mackerel. It was crispy and delicious with a hint of shiso. Then came the shrimp, wrapped in shiso leaves for a refreshing taste. I completely forgot the order after that, but there were squid, pork fillet, negima (leek and chicken skewers), cod roe, tomato and cheese, mantis shrimp, baby corn, and herring roe. I stopped after eating 12-13 pieces. I originally planned to eat 10 pieces, but...? I enjoyed them with Premium Malt and a sweet potato shochu (I forgot the name, but it was recommended) with water. Finally, I had Inaniwa udon noodles and cherry blossom ice cream for dessert. The total cost was a little over 5,000 yen per person. It's satisfying because of the fried food. It's great for enjoying a variety of slightly filling dishes casually. It's fun not knowing what will come next. Oh, Japan has such delicious food. The variety and delicacy make it the most delicious country in the world!

We started with the grilled saury wrapped in shiso, and then ordered the skewer course. The skewers ranged from 189 yen each, and they kept serving them until we said stop. We left it up to the owner to decide what to serve next, adding to the excitement. We were seated at the counter, eagerly waiting for the next skewer. After the saury, we were served shrimp wrapped in shiso, pork tenderloin wrapped in cheese, onion, kisu fish, scallop, cod roe, herring roe, tomato cheese, sea cucumber, clam, and potato with sausage. We finally had to say stop after trying 12 different skewers. It was truly satisfying. The tomato cheese skewer was served freshly fried and then cooled down. The owner instructed us to eat it in one bite without chewing, and it was delicious with the tomato and cheese melting perfectly together. As for drinks, we started with draft beer and then moved on to shochu, only to be surprised by the wide variety available. Looking around, we saw others enjoying their drinks and conversations, especially delighted by the selection of shochu. The owner, focused on coating and frying the skewers, had the demeanor of a true craftsman. The attentive owner and the young hostess made the experience even more enjoyable.

My partner took me to a tempura restaurant that they really like. I enjoy tempura and go to various places, but this one was quite ordinary. The batter was not too fine, with breadcrumbs. The seasonings were soy sauce, sesame sauce, salt, and lemon, but nothing particularly outstanding. The ingredients were also quite normal. We asked for the chef's choice, but they didn't tell us what each skewer was, so it was hard to know what we were eating with all the batter on. They also didn't recommend any specific seasonings, which was a bit disappointing. However, the warm atmosphere created by the owner made up for these shortcomings, and I didn't mind the minor issues. There were many couples on dates and even two grown men waving goodbye to the owner on their way out, which was heartwarming. It may be a rare find in this area. Despite my complaints, I will probably end up going back again. Thank you for the meal.
