Hidden gem restaurant in Asakusa. I had been curious about this Italian restaurant run by a chef who worked at a three-star restaurant in Europe. The narrow path from the entrance to the inside gives it a cozy hidden vibe, which I personally like. The interior was surprisingly spacious with a good number of seats. Besides reserved seats, they also have seats available for walk-ins depending on the timing. I called an hour before opening and was able to secure a table. The menu has a variety of options besides the Grand Menu, and the staff recommended some dishes for us. Everything we ordered was delicious and we were very satisfied. It was hot and humid, even though there were fans they weren't working which was a bit uncomfortable. The food was a bit of a mixed bag. The potato fries were good at first but got greasy towards the end. Then we had a Margherita pizza which was delicious. However, the spaghetti aglio e olio was more like soft yakisoba noodles instead of pasta. The restroom was cool and comfortable, which was a nice surprise. If only the terrace had been cooler, it would have been perfect. It's a lovely restaurant, so it was a bit disappointing.
