We visited this place with two people in the neighborhood because we wanted to have a daytime drink. It's great that you can also drink during cafe time. The beef red wine stew was delicious with a tasty sauce, perfect for snacking. The anchovy potatoes were hot and go well with beer. Thank you for the meal! It's convenient and cozy. We will visit again.

The liquor store in Shin-Nakano offers a great selection of food and drinks at a high level. They have a variety of taps on the wall, and the selection of wine and food is excellent. They really understand the heart of a drinker. If I lived closer, I would definitely be a regular customer.

Opus One offers famous brands and bottles priced around 10,000 yen can be enjoyed for just a few thousand yen per glass. Their homemade lemon fermented sour is peeled and as someone concerned about pesticides, I really appreciate this consideration. I would love to go back with a few friends and enjoy wine or beer by the bottle at a leisurely pace!

I casually dropped by during a quiet time in the early afternoon. I was planning on just having one beer and fish & chips before leaving, but everything was so delicious that I ended up staying longer. The craft beers brewed in the back of the shop ranged from fruity and refreshing to bitter and rich chocolate flavors, with some unique ones that you can only find here. They also brew beers at affiliated shops, so beer enthusiasts can enjoy chatting with the staff at the counter about their preferences. On this day, I had a tasting set of 3 beers (¥1000), a half pint of chocolate beer (¥660), a tasting set of 5 wines (¥1500), fish & chips (around ¥1000), and a cheese platter of 5 varieties (around ¥1600). The menu perfectly complements the drinks and enhances the flavors. I feel like I could find my number one favorite by trying out different options little by little. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a variety of drinks!

It's been a while since I visited Shibataya. I tried the #4 drink which seemed versatile and easy to drink. The #1 was fruity and enjoyable on its own rather than paired with food. The #6 started fruity but had a strong bitterness later, suitable for richer flavored dishes. I forgot to take photos of the bamboo shoot fritters and herb sausages. The Gorgonzola gnocchi was served with honey, and I was extremely satisfied. #Shin-Nakano gourmet.

The cheese platter as the final dish paired perfectly with the wine. The wine selection was delightful, and I felt a sense of bliss. However, the first floor bar had limited food options, which was a bit disappointing. I will opt for the second floor for drinks next time.

It was a wine lover's dream shop. On the second floor, there is a free-flow area with plenty of wines available. You can enjoy light snacks or have a proper meal. On the way out, you can stop by the first floor to buy snacks and wine for a home party, or even pick up gifts.

Shibata-ya Sake Store, which quietly has branches overseas, has its headquarters at this store. Starting with a visit to SAKE-YA Nishi-Ogikubo, I have also visited Kitami store and Asakusa Beer Kobo whenever I have the chance. This time, before our evening plans, I made my first visit to this store and had a light lunch. The first floor has a counter for alcohol sales, eat-in tables, and a few small tables, while the second floor has a spacious dining space with a counter and 6-7 tables. On this day, I visited incognito and when I went upstairs, I was greeted with "Ah, Jigen-san." It was Mr. Miyashita, who used to be the manager at the Nishi-Ogikubo store. Visiting was immediately recognized (laughs).
- Eggplant and Bacon Arrabbiata Pasta (1,000 yen including tax)
Comes with potage soup and salad. The pasta was authentically made and quite generous in portion.
- MERTES (Lunch Wine 300 yen including tax)
This is a German Riesling available at a special price for those who order lunch during lunchtime.
The spacious layout allows for a leisurely atmosphere, making it a convenient place to have a drink during the day.

Today I wanted to try a little bit of different types of sake, so I visited Shibataya. As a major wholesaler, they offer a wide variety of sake. The staff is knowledgeable about sake and can provide information. Each of the 3 types of sake was served in a 30cc glass.
The first one was "Kirekire" from Tochigi Ohtawara, which Shibataya is involved in the product planning. It is not just dry, but has a nice sharpness to it. The second one was "Shichiken" from Hakushucho, Yamanashi, which is a well-balanced, mellow sake. The third one was "WAKAZE," made by a Japanese sake brewer in France. It is made with French rice and hard water, giving it a unique taste and a long finish.
In total, I had 90cc of sake, which was just right. I enjoyed it with some olives. It was a delightful experience.

I had a wine tasting of 5 different wines along with a platter of 5 assorted appetizers. The staff asked about my wine preferences and opened 3 new bottles for me to try based on my tastes. The bottles were kept right next to me so I could look up more information about the wines as I drank. Ordering was easy through my smartphone. The wines available for purchase in the store had cute labels and were in a reasonable price range, making it difficult to decide which ones to buy.

Tonkatsu with grated daikon, yuzu ponzu sauce set meal for 1000 yen. This week's tonkatsu is Japanese-style. The size and thickness of the tonkatsu are good. In addition to the delicious grated daikon yuzu ponzu sauce, they also provided a separate "nama sauce" tonkatsu sauce. The miso soup has clams. I enjoyed my meal today as well.

Lunch set with chicken karaage and oil-drenched chicken for 1000 yen. The oil-drenched chicken alone is delicious, but the tartar sauce with a half-boiled egg in a small side dish is also tasty. The chopped pickles in the sauce are fresh and tangy. The rice and miso soup were also to my liking. Thank you for the meal.

Milan-style tonkatsu? The lunch before the renovation was not impressive for under 1000 yen, but the first lunch after the renewal was much better. There were 4 menu options available, including 1) hamburger, 2) fish, 3) chicken karaage, and 4) tonkatsu. I didn't have high expectations due to my previous experience with the taste. The dish was served in about 5 minutes and the presentation was well-balanced and colorful. The tonkatsu was topped with Parmigiano and tomato sauce, giving it a refreshing taste. The tonkatsu itself was fairly thick and satisfying. Considering the quality, the price of 1000 yen seemed quite reasonable. The dressing on the cabbage was also delicious and refreshing. I would definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

After work, I stopped by with a friend for a quick drink. It was my third visit, and I really like that you can casually try various drinks at a reasonable price. The appetizers were delicious, and before I knew it, I had more than just one drink. You can also purchase the drinks displayed in the refrigerator on the spot, and I even received a bottle of sparkling wine. The second floor seems to be a fermented bistro, and I would love to visit if I have the chance.

While waiting for my laundry to dry at the coin laundry, I visited this place for a quick drink. I have been here several times since it's close by, but the style of the shop changes each time I visit. During the pandemic, they weren't serving food and drinks, but recently they have started operating a craft beer bar. I had a craft beer and jerk chicken pizza for my first drink, and then enjoyed Tempura Ninyo's wine, as well as a blend of Syrah and Cabernet for my second drink. The staff is friendly and maintains a good distance. I will definitely visit again.

There are many wines that seem tempting to choose just by looking at the labels! It's fun to see. Plus, you can drink at the same price as the store price with just a corkage fee, which is a good deal. The beer selection is also good. The food is average. It's not bad at all. The second-floor restaurant seems to be well-equipped, but considering the casual atmosphere on the first floor, it feels a bit high-end. Feeling the pressure from regular customers both upstairs and downstairs, is it because of the local area? It seems like that's not the case in the city center...

You can enjoy delicious craft beer in a relaxed atmosphere at this place. They also sell wine, sake, and beer. I discovered this place through a travel show and bought a few bottles of the original sake "Kirekire" and "Sour Sake 333" from Shibataya, as well as some craft beer.

■ Shop Name: Tasting Bar Shibataya Sake Store Main Store
■ Location: Shinnakano Station
■ Budget: 4000-5000 yen
> Ordered Menu
- Today's appetizer 3 kinds assortment
- Sake store's potato salad
- Recommended prosciutto
- Smoked edamame
- Tripe tomato stew
- Koenji Cream (HALF)
Located within a 5-minute walk from Shinnakano Station towards Nakano Station. I visited the place after receiving a DM on Instagram. As the main business is a sake store, they offer a wide variety of alcohol, including craft beer and recommended sake (with tasting sets available). It is a bar attached to a sake store. There is also a restaurant on the second floor. I visited on a Friday around 7 pm. The counter seats about 6-7 people, with 2-seater tables x2 and a 4-seater table x1. The table seats were almost full, and the atmosphere was lively. You can place orders by scanning the QR code on the table, which is convenient and allows solo customers to feel at ease without bothering the staff.
I ordered the items mentioned above:
> Today's appetizer 3 kinds assortment
1. Sake store's potato salad: with iburigakko and salami, seasoned with whole peppercorns. A dish that goes well with alcohol, with a nice touch of cheese flavor.
2. Recommended prosciutto: a great snack with a salty taste that pairs well with wine or sake.
3. Smoked edamame: as the name suggests, nothing particularly noteworthy.
> Tripe tomato stew: made with tripe (beef stomach lining) in a tomato-based stew. The unique texture of the tripe may appeal to many, and the right amount of cheese prevents it from becoming overwhelming.
> Koenji Cream (HALF): resembling a citrus juice, with a hoppy yet mellow taste that is easy to drink, lacking the sharpness typical of hops.
That's all. If you happen to be nearby, I recommend stopping by. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely visit again.

I had some business in Shin-Nakano and as I was walking, I saw a shop with wine lined up and thought it was a liquor store. But then I noticed a lunch banner and decided to go in. The lunch was served on the second floor of the shop, which also had a menu for dinner and was clearly focused on wine. The interior of the shop had a modern and calm atmosphere, making it a nice place to enjoy a meal. We ordered two different lunches that day and they were both delicious. I was very satisfied with the taste. I will definitely come back again.

Tasting Bar Shibataya Hotel Main Store (*´ㅈ`*)♡ You can enjoy rare, carefully selected wines and handcrafted craft beers that are imported by the company. The sommelier explains about the alcohol carefully, and you can enjoy tasting sets of wines and sake, as well as various other drinks in the store, making it a great place for alcohol lovers (o˘◡︎˘o)♪ The food that goes well with alcohol is also delicious, and you can order half sizes, so you can enjoy matching dishes with alcohol even if you're alone, which is also great (*ˊ˘ˋ*)。♪︎:*° You can also buy your favorite alcohol to take home, which is attractive. If you're lucky, you can also purchase delicious cheese♪♪
