I visited "Kushi Katsu Arata Kanda Store" located just a 1-minute walk from Kanda Station. I made a reservation for 6:30 pm on a weekday. The kushi katsu here is delicious as they are all served piping hot. Freshly fried or grilled ones are especially tasty. Among them, the black wagyu beef skewer is full of the rich flavor of the meat, and the camembert bacon skewer impressed me with its incredibly rich and creamy camembert cheese and bacon flavor. I enjoyed every bite until I was full. Pickled plum cucumber

Located just a 1-minute walk from Kanda Station North Exit, Kushiage Arata Kanda is in a great location for a toast. Normally, I start with a draft beer, but this time I opted for a refreshing Shizuoka green tea highball, which was a delicious and light choice. Arriving just before the opening at 4 pm, I was the first customer, greeted by a friendly smile from the staff. Using a tablet device to order, I decided to try their recommendations. Here are some of the highlights from my meal: - Black Wagyu Beef Skewer: A must-try for its fine texture, tenderness, and melt-in-your-mouth quality at only 350 yen per skewer. - Negi Shio Gyutan (Grilled Beef Tongue with Green Onions): A great option from the one-coin menu. - Cheese: I love cheese, and the fried Camembert Bacon skewer was a delight at 280 yen for two rolls. - Seseri (Chicken Neck) Skewer: A delicious option alongside the more common meat skewers. In addition to the usual meat options, they also offer seafood like shrimp and scallops, as well as vegetable skewers like lotus root and shishito peppers. The menu even includes unique items like Camembert Cheese Bacon and Sweet Potato skewers. Everything was freshly fried and incredibly delicious. My friend and I, both women, managed to finish quite a lot of food. The atmosphere was pleasant, with spacious tables making it a great spot for a date. Given its location near the business district, it's also a good option for salarymen on their way home from work. I highly recommend it!

I focused on the new menu, which was a great choice! A fusion of luxurious salmon roe, sea urchin, and kushikatsu! The drinks also include nostalgic cream sours and sours made with seasonal fruits. Kushikatsu is often thought to be greasy, but at Arata Kushikatsu, a special technique reduces oil absorption by up to 80%, so you can enjoy crispy kushikatsu without feeling heavy. The bright and clean interior of the restaurant is reassuring for women, making it a place where they can enjoy themselves. I went to a popular skewered cutlet restaurant in Kanda that was shining brightly. It was packed even though I went with a former colleague at 8:30 pm after work. The staff were energetic and the restaurant was clean. It's always nice to find a clean restroom in an izakaya. However, the main reason for its popularity is the delicious skewered cutlets. They have a variety of sweet and savory menu items that Japanese people love. They offer a stylish lineup with fruits and cheese dishes. I chose a few items and enjoyed them all as a hardcore Japanese person. The regular and unique skewered cutlets were both delicious, especially the ikura (salmon roe) and konbu (kelp) with uni (sea urchin) ones. Each dish allowed the natural flavors of the ingredients to shine. I'll definitely come back here whenever I crave skewered cutlets!

Kushi Katsu Arata Kanda Station
I visited a creative kushi katsu izakaya in Kanda the other day. I ordered the recommended "Onsen Tamago Potato Salad" and various kushi skewers without hesitation. The runny yolk of the onsen tamago is so appetizing. The taste was amazing, and it paired perfectly with drinks. Among the skewers, the "Camembert Bacon" was a standout that I highly recommend trying. It exceeded my expectations with its deliciousness, especially for cheese lovers. As for snacks, the classic fried potatoes were a delight, especially with the sweet chili and sour cream combination. It was so delicious that I felt like I could drink forever with this snack. I also ordered drinks and skewers that would be perfect for social media posts. The cute glasses and the seasonal Shine Muscat were incredibly delicious, making it a great choice. If you want to enjoy delicious drinks at a trendy spot in the Kanda area, I highly recommend this place! Thank you for the meal!
Menu:
- Onsen Tamago Potato Salad
- Adult Scallop with Ikura
- Chunky Shine Muscat Sour
- Skewers (Pickled Ginger, Lotus Root, Shiitake Mushroom, Camembert Bacon, King Oyster Mushroom)
- Fried Potatoes with Sweet Chili and Sour Cream

The crispy skewered cutlets were delicious. This time, I went with a group of colleagues who love eating and drinking. They were particularly impressed by the asparagus and pickled ginger. They said they were glad I brought them here. Maybe that's why... we ended up eating a bit too much haha. Having all-you-can-drink was a good idea.

I went to Kushiage Arata Kanda branch for the first time in about a year! Arata's original batter is developed using a special method that reduces oil absorption by up to 80%, making the kushiage healthy and not greasy. The crispy finish is great! They have new menu items like the nostalgic Cream Soda, Adult Scallop and Salmon Roe, Homemade Pinchos with Uni and Salmon Roe, and Strawberry and Mascarpone. Just looking at the menu's touch panel is fun! I ordered the Ice Cream Sour in all colors, Rainbow Cheese, Adult Scallop and Salmon Roe, Salmon and Salmon Roe Skewers, Mentaiko Mayo Tamago Yaki, Plump Shrimp, Crunchy Lotus Root, Round Fried Asparagus, Quail, Camembert Bacon, and the addictive Cucumber. The Ice Cream Sour had actual ice cream in it, not just on top! The kushiage tasted great with tartar sauce, Arata's special sauce, and spicy sauce. They even had shrimp salt available, which was nice. The staff was friendly and the drinks were customizable. It was clean and well-maintained, even after a year. It was a fun and delicious experience, I'm definitely satisfied! Thank you for the meal.

I visited "Kushi Katsu Arata" in Kanda! The restaurant is in a great location, just a 1-minute walk from Kanda Station! This restaurant has its main branch in Nagoya, and branches in Tokyo in Kanda, Shibuya, and Ueno. I went on a Monday night, and it was surprisingly full. The atmosphere was bright, and the staff were very friendly, making the experience enjoyable.
Here are some of the menu items I ordered:
⚪ Deep-fried skewers: A wide variety of skewers with meat, seafood, and vegetables! There were even luxurious skewers with salmon roe and gold flakes. They pay attention not only to the ingredients but also to the oil and batter, making it healthy and enjoyable to eat.
⚪ Strawberry and seasonal fruits with mascarpone: A stylish dish with fresh fruits and mascarpone! When I went, it was made with Shine Muscat grapes. The refreshing fruits and creamy mascarpone cheese complement each other.
⚪ Premium meat suki: Plenty of beef in bonito dashi broth. The broth was gentle, making it a perfect dish to finish the meal.
⚪ Drinks: Beer, sake, highball, and more. Among them, the recommended drink was the sour with plenty of fruits. It was so luxurious with all those Shine Muscat grapes in it. It's so easy to drink, so be careful!

Arata specializes in healthy deep-fried skewers made with a secret batter and oil. I was delighted by the friendly staff who greeted me with a smile when I first arrived. Their energy and enthusiasm created a lively atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to be. I tried various skewers, but the one with salmon roe was particularly satisfying with its generous amount of roe. The oysters and scallops were also large and provided a substantial bite. They had a wide selection of craft beers to pair with the skewers and other dishes. It's rare to find craft beer at a skewer restaurant! They also offered a variety of appetizers, perfect for snacking. I highly recommend the premium meat skewers! The cream soda sour and Shine Muscat sour were delicious and visually appealing. The restaurant was clean, and they had products that would be appreciated by female customers, which was another attractive point. Arata offers seasonal ingredients and creative dishes, so there is always something new to discover every time you visit!

Just a 1-minute walk from Kanda Station, this kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers) restaurant is surprisingly appealing to women with its clean and cute interior, as well as a variety of photogenic menu items. Start off with a fruity and refreshing fruit sour drink like the "Fresh Strawberry Sour" or the "Juicy Shine Muscat Sour." The kushikatsu here is the original creation of "Arata," who experimented with about 300 different batters before settling on this one. The kushikatsu is known for being "healthy" with a light and crispy texture that is incredibly delicious. Menu items like the "Rainbow Cheese" with colorful rice puffs or dishes topped with ikura (salmon roe) and uni (sea urchin) are beautifully presented and popular among female customers. The "Supreme Chicken Liver Sashimi" may be a bit pricey at 830 yen, but it is worth it for its rare and delicious taste. With skewers starting at just 100 yen each, you can try a variety of items without breaking the bank, making for a satisfying and affordable dining experience.

[Kanda Station] This place is just about a minute away from the Ginza exit of Kanda Station. The bright and flashy storefront makes it easy to spot the location in an instant. Inside, the cheerful and energetic staff warmly welcome you! A restaurant with lively staff already has its own charm, right? While thinking that, I enjoyed delicious skewered dishes!
[Todays' Orders]
- Skewered dishes (from 130 yen)
- Adult scallop and salmon roe skewer (420 yen)
- Authentic Hakata specialty sesame mackerel (780 yen)
- Seriously chewy water dumplings
- Arata's fruit sour
- Meat udon (680 yen)
- and more
- Skewered dishes (from 130 yen)
- Kagoshima black wagyu beef skewer
- Seven-colored quail
- Barley-finished premium pork
The above menu items were incredibly delicious skewers that you must try! They also offer unique items like fried shumai, making the selection process fun. They have assorted platters and omakase options, so even if you're tired of choosing, you can still enjoy it. The skewers have a very light batter, similar to tempura, and are incredibly crispy and delicious. You can easily eat a lot due to this lightness.
- Adult scallop and salmon roe skewer (420 yen)
A luxurious scallop skewer topped with plenty of salmon roe. The combination of scallops and salmon roe is unbeatable! It seems that seasonal skewers are served, so you won't get tired of them no matter when you visit. They have a wide variety of limited edition skewers, so find your favorite!
- Authentic Hakata specialty sesame mackerel (780 yen)
Plenty of sesame flavor and rich mackerel taste. The combination of these two flavors is perfect! The abundance of condiments like perilla leaves and seaweed was also a delightful point. The taste goes perfectly with alcohol, so I recommend the all-you-can-drink option.
- Seriously chewy water dumplings
A warm soup to revive your stomach strategy, with the chewy dumpling skin making for a delightful palate cleanser. It's a joy to have warm menu items other than the usual closing dishes.
- Arata's fruit sour
Surprisingly, the fruit chunks were plentiful! They had three types available: strawberry, pineapple, and mango. The strawberry sour was particularly delicious, sweet and full of fruit.
- Meat udon (680 yen)
The finale of the day was the meat udon. The umami of the beef blends in wonderfully, making it delicious! And there's plenty of beef on top, so you'll be happy and full until the end! The bright and enjoyable customer service makes you want to stay longer, and it's a must-visit for a lovely all-you-can-drink plan.

I visited an izakaya where you can enjoy delicious kushikatsu just a 2-minute walk from Kanda Station. I recommend trying the Arata 5-piece set which includes kushikatsu, creamy potato salad with a soft-boiled egg, strawberry mascarpone, pickled plum, adult sakura yukke, meat udon, and 3 types of cream soda. From classic kushikatsu to eye-catching menu items, there are plenty of options to enjoy visually and, most importantly, they are delicious. The kushikatsu coating is light and the oil is not heavy. You could eat as much as you want. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

When you enter the store, the staff greets you with a lot of energy! The interior of the store is decorated with neon lights and sake bottles, making it cute and stylish. You order through a touch panel system, but the staff moves around the floor efficiently and is easy to ask questions to. They respond with a smile and great energy. On this day, I was brought here by a friend, and although I'm not a big fan of fried food, I ended up enjoying the crispy and delicious skewers with uni, ikura, and gold leaf. They also had colorful skewers and cute drinks like cream soda with ice cream and fruit. The non-skewer dishes like caprese and yukhoe were also delicious. The atmosphere was bright and fun, with customers leaving to cheerful farewells. I visited on a full stomach after afternoon tea, so I couldn't eat much, but I definitely want to come back with an empty stomach next time.

As a beer lover, being able to enjoy Kushikatsu and craft beer together was incredibly satisfying. What's your favorite Kushikatsu? Mine is the "Red Pickled Ginger" (probably going to eat 2 or 3 pieces). The limited-time menu items like Oyster and Ikura Tartar, Salmon and Ikura, and Rich Kombu Uni were all delicious, especially the Kombu Uni which was a bit pricey but definitely worth it. I couldn't take photos of everything I ate, but I feel like I tried more non-Kushikatsu items like Beef Tongue, Potato Salad, and Strawberry Mascarpone which were all stylish and tasty. A shop located a little off the main street from Kanda Station. It's great that you can enter from 16:00 onwards. The deep-fried skewers are served hot and delicious! They offer a variety of skewers, from simple ones to luxurious ones like Hiroshima oyster skewers with scallops and salmon roe. The scallop and salmon roe skewer was really delicious! The staff at the restaurant were very polite, which was nice. It was fun to see a variety of condiments available! I think it's a great place to casually visit with colleagues or friends. It seems like it would also be popular with foreign visitors, so I would like to visit again!

Stylish and clean interior of a Kabuki-style kushikatsu specialty restaurant
I visited a lively and stylish kushikatsu restaurant where you can enjoy kushikatsu in a casual atmosphere! Located just 1 minute from Kanda Station, this restaurant offers healthy kushikatsu made with original batter and oil based on the 38 years of experience of the chef. The variety of carefully selected ingredients and the casual atmosphere are the highlights of this restaurant. The batter, which was the result of trial and error with about 300 types, and the oil, which generates over 50 trillion weak vibrations per second, suppress the absorption of up to 80% of oil, resulting in a "healthy" kushikatsu. I had a wonderful time in the bright and clean space. With over 30 types of kushikatsu and numerous other dishes, you can enjoy with friends or alone. The restaurant uses only carefully selected ingredients and is committed to providing delicious dishes at all times. You can order using a touch panel and the bill is also reasonable and transparent. ---------------------------------- ● Nostalgic Melon Cream Soda ● Blue Hawaii ⚫ Ginkgo ⚫ Cheese skewer that stretches ⚫ Quail ⚫ Camembert bacon ⚫ Long and fluffy sweet potato ● Quail flavored egg ● Shishamo with roe ● Shrimp ● Konbu with roe ● Asparagus ● Chocolate brownie ● Daifuku I could eat without dipping in sauce thanks to the crispy batter, which was a relief from indigestion! The charm of kushikatsu that you can enjoy like a dessert ● Strawberry and mascarpone dessert that will make you look great ● Homemade sea urchin mayonnaise with ikura on a bucket with plenty of sea urchin and ikura Uni world! ● Ginger highball ● Real gold sour ● Ume suisho Shark cartilage and plum are refreshing and perfect as a side dish for alcohol ● Premium tamago gohan Rich tamago gohan made with the most carefully selected eggs in Japan, the rich eggs made it irresistible, and I was energized by the cheerful staff! Kushikatsu is loved by everyone, right? I went to "Kushikatsu Arata Kanda" which has researched how to make the batter less oily and easier to eat. Even though it was a weekday, the seats were full, showing how popular the restaurant is. I ordered several items, and the thin batter was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. The recommended dishes are the Wagyu beef skewers and the stretchy cheese skewers - make sure to eat them while they're hot. The meat dishes were all excellent, especially the Niku-sui which had a rich dashi flavor. The potato salad mixed with onsen tamago was also delicious. The drink menu was full of options that went well with alcohol. The outstanding point was the amazing service - you are guaranteed to have a pleasant time. The clean interior and excellent customer service made it very comfortable. Also, the fruit sours are Instagram-worthy, so give them a try if you're curious.

The staff were all friendly and the kushikatsu was delicious. The crispy coating that doesn't get boring is the highlight. If I had to ask for more, I would like to see more variety of skewers. There are about 300 original clothes that have been prototyped and made, as well as healthy kushikatsu that uses oil to suppress up to 80% of oil absorption. The egg yolk of the sakura yukke and the high-quality mentaiko mayo tamago yaki seasoned egg omelette with mentaiko sauce are good. The homemade tsuchiyaki (simmered beef tendon) is an original menu simmered in homemade miso. It's a favorite snack that goes well with sake. The yamitsuki cucumber is a dish that you can't help but want to snack on. Cheese mochi is a favorite that I always order when I go to an izakaya. It's delicious when eaten with honey, like a dessert. The carefully selected skewers have a crispy coating that is not greasy, giving them a healthy touch. The meat is "Black Wagyu beef from Kagoshima Prefecture." The fine texture and tenderness of the meat, along with the balanced marbling that creates a melting texture, and the delicate yet firm umami of the meat and fat were evident. The restaurant staff said that the kushikatsu is not visually appealing because it's brown, but when you line them up, they look amazing!! I got excited about the unusual chocolate brownie skewer. It was enjoyable as a dessert-like treat. There were special Arata sauce and super spicy sauce for dipping. The Arata sauce was light and the super spicy sauce was not spicy at all. Vegetables and fresh fish are also freshly sourced from their respective origins. The restaurant has a stylish and trendy decor that exudes a vibrant atmosphere. The bright and eye-catching signboard with a bold Daruma painting adds to the charm. They seem to put a lot of effort into customer service and cleanliness, making the restaurant feel like a newly opened establishment, with a great sense of cleanliness and beauty. The staff even escorted us outside the store, they were bright and lovely people.
