[Overview] Located on the 3rd floor of MIYASHITA PARK in Shibuya, "Hainan Chicken Rice Dining" is a place where you can enjoy authentic Singaporean national cuisine. Although it is pronounced "Hainan Chicken Rice Dining" and not "Kainantrimeshishokudo," please be careful! I had lunch at the Ebisu branch once before, and since dinner looked delicious, I decided to revisit. The food was as delicious as ever, and the dim lighting created a nice atmosphere, making it a recommended spot for dates!
[Review] Hainanese Chicken Rice L 1430 yen
The signature dish Hainanese Chicken Rice (Singaporean Chicken Rice) comes with three different sauces (sweet soy sauce, ginger sauce, chili sauce) for you to enjoy. The chicken is tender, moist, and juicy. The chicken's tender texture and the rice cooked in chicken broth make for a perfect combination.
Crab with Black Pepper Sauce Stir-fry M 2840 yen
I thought it might be a bit spicy from the appearance, but the pepper flavor was strong and delicious!
Turnip with White Pepper Sauce M 880 yen
The flavor was light and refreshing, making it a great appetizer! It's been a while since I had turnip. Thank you for the meal!

I had the L size with extra share of coriander and spicy sauce, along with a mix of rice and tender chicken in a delicious sauce. The soup had a gentle flavor which was nice. The Hokkien Mee had a sweet sauce and a spicy shrimp-flavored sauce mixed together with egg noodles, similar to ramen but with a different deliciousness compared to Pad Thai.

#Hainan Chicken Rice#Had a date with Ricky in Shibuya. Among the options of high-end sushi, General's Burger, and others, Ricky suggested trying the Chicken Rice that we had in Singapore. So we ended up here. This Hainan Rice restaurant has been around for a long time. Oh, this particular branch in Miyashita Park is new, but I used to frequent their Ebisu branch about 15 years ago. Sometimes, I crave this kind of Asian dish with lots of coriander for an additional 60 yen. I opted for skinless chicken and less rice, while Ricky went for the regular option. You can get unlimited sauce and jasmine rice refills. Ricky even got two extra scoops of rice. The chicken was plentiful and satisfying! The moist chicken is truly unbeatable. It may not be as good as the popular hawker stalls in Singapore, but if you're looking for delicious Hainan Rice in Tokyo, this place is worth a visit. It was my first time in a while visiting this place. #HainanRice#SingaporeanCuisine#ChickenRice#HawkerFood#ShibuyaLunch#ShibuyaGourmet#Ethnic#MiyashitaParkHainan Chicken Rice Restaurant 5 MIYASHITA PARK Branch03-5468-27116-20-10 MIYASHITA PARK North 3F, Jingu-mae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyohttps://tabelog.com/tokyo/A1303/A130301/13248750/

I always crave for the Singaporean specialty, Chicken Rice at Shibuya MIYASHITA PARK. You can place your order by scanning the QR code. MIYASHITA PARK has free Wi-Fi, so even if you're low on data, you're covered. I ordered the following:
- Chicken Rice, Large size 200g (skinless, cut for kids)
- Chicken Curry
Each order comes with Chicken Soup. You can have unlimited refills of the sauce and rice for the Chicken Rice. The rice is so delicious and I love it. Even without the chicken or curry, the rice alone is so tasty that I can eat as many bowls as I want. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I love, love Hainanese chicken rice. I like it without skin or cilantro, with all the sauce poured on top, slightly dry rice, and delicious soup. I'm happy that there are many branches of this restaurant. I also love the dish with crab claws here. Thank you for the delicious meal!

This time, I ordered two sizes of chicken rice, Mega (300g of chicken) and L size (200g of chicken). Orders are all made through QR codes! MIYASHITA PARK has free Wi-Fi available. When you're running out of data, it might be a good idea to connect to the free Wi-Fi before placing an order. There is only one type of chicken rice, but you can choose from three sizes (in grams). You can also add extra cilantro for an additional fee. Personally, I always order the following two options:
- Skinless (no additional charge)
- Cut into small pieces (no additional charge, it's labeled as for children, but it's recommended for adults too as it's easier to eat)
The chicken is delicious, of course, but the rice is also incredibly tasty! I don't usually eat a lot of rice, but here I always get seconds and eat a lot (lol). The rice is so delicious that you just want to keep eating it. There are three types of sauces for the chicken, and rice refills are free. Thank you for the meal again! It was delicious~!

Moved to Shibuya for lunch. Visited "Hainan Chicken Rice Dining 5" at Miyashita Park, a Singaporean cuisine restaurant. The main dish for lunch is Hainan chicken rice, a combination of steamed chicken and jasmine rice. The delicious smell of jasmine rice wafts outside the restaurant. Used a mobile order menu with a QR code. Since I don't like chicken skin, I was grateful to see the option of "skinless" for the chicken rice. You can choose the amount of chicken and jasmine rice from three sizes: medium, large, and extra-large. I chose "medium" and also got a side of stir-fried water spinach to share with a friend. The presentation of the chicken rice was beautiful, with a mound of jasmine rice in the center and three types of condiments on the side. The thick chicken meat was plump and shiny, with the skin neatly removed. It was moist and tender, without a strong chicken flavor, which was appreciated. The sauces were all delicious, especially the ginger sauce which added a refreshing taste. The jasmine rice, cooked with chicken broth, was fluffy and slightly firm, making it a delight to eat. When I asked for a refill, they brought the pot of rice and scooped it onto my plate until I said stop. It was so delicious that I wanted to take the whole pot of rice home. The stir-fried water spinach had a crisp and refreshing texture, adding to the satisfying meal.

I tried the Hainan Chicken Rice at Hainan Chicken Rice Shokudo 5 in MIYASHITA PARK in Shibuya. The chicken was moist and delicious, and the Jasmine rice cooked in chicken soup was so tasty that I ended up getting seconds. The sauces available are soy sauce, chili sauce, and ginger - try them all and find your favorite! During lunchtime, you can also get unlimited rice and sauce refills. Chicken rice is one of my favorite dishes, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know. The atmosphere at night is perfect for a date, whether for a meal or drinks. I'll definitely be going back soon.

Hainan Chicken Rice is a menu similar to Khao Man Gai, where you can add three types of sauces (sweet soy sauce, ginger, chili sauce) according to your preference. The chicken is moist and tender, and the three sauces go perfectly with it. It is recommended to pour all three sauces. Since it's lunchtime, you can have unlimited rice refills. It's the best!

I couldn't resist the moist chicken at the Shibuya lunch spot Hainan Chicken Rice Dining 5 in Shibuya.
I tried the Hainan Chicken Rice Large at MIYASHITA PARK. The chicken was so tender, I could eat as many pieces as I wanted. The jasmine rice cooked in chicken soup was delicious, I even went for seconds!
The sauce options included soy sauce, chili sauce, and ginger. I must admit, I felt a bit embarrassed when I had to ask for more of the sweet soy sauce because I used it up so quickly. By the way, during lunchtime, you can have unlimited rice and sauce refills!
I absolutely love chicken rice, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know!

There is a restaurant that seems to have a chain deployment and serves delicious Khao Man Gai. I often use it for lunch at Miyashita Park. The photo here is the one with the most Khao Man Gai in it. It was around 2000 yen, I think. It's a bit expensive for Khao Man Gai, but the taste is definitely worth it.

I visited this place for lunch. The atmosphere is open and the tone is dark. It's a great place to refresh your mind. The chicken was cooked just right, but it lacked depth in flavor, so the dipping sauce was the highlight. The dishes were all authentic and packed a punch, but they didn't have that addictive quality that would make me want to come back. The rice is all-you-can-eat, but with the additional seating fee, it doesn't seem like a great value. There are plenty of ethnic restaurants in the area, so I'm not sure if I would come back. Also, the lunch menu options were limited, so if you come with a group, not everyone will be satisfied with the choices available.

I visited this restaurant for lunch. I have always wanted to try it out as there are branches in other areas as well. For lunch, I had the chicken rice, which allows you to choose the amount of chicken in three different levels. You can also get a free extra serving of rice, and if you don't like cilantro, you can ask for it without. The best part is that you can get free refills of rice and three types of sauces. This is great for people like me who enjoy mixing the chicken and rice with sauces. The chicken soup was also delicious and paired perfectly with the chicken rice. The staff were friendly and made the dining experience enjoyable. The only downside was that the interior of the restaurant was a bit dark. It felt quite dark after coming in from the bright outside, so it would be nice if they could make it a bit brighter. However, the food and service were excellent, so I will definitely be coming back. I noticed they have branches in Ebisu and other places, so I will definitely try them out as well.

If you're going on a date, it's better with someone you're comfortable with. Just having a meal is fine. The size of the meat was a bit inconsistent, even though I asked for the same amount as my companion, I only got about half. When I pointed it out, they added a little more, so overall, it wasn't too bad.

I suddenly wanted to eat and visited. I ordered a medium-sized Hainan chicken rice with extra cilantro. The chicken was cooked rare, giving it a juicy and tender texture. The rice was plentiful and I could get refills. Changing the flavor with the sauce (soy sauce, ginger, chili) made it even more delicious. Overall, I was satisfied with the taste.

A cozy Hainanese chicken rice restaurant located in Miyashita Park. I have loved this dish since I was young. Having tried it in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, I can tell that it is quite different from the authentic version. In Shibuya, there are other restaurants that serve Hainanese chicken rice closer to the original taste. Unfortunately, those who have experienced the authentic flavor may feel disappointed when trying this version. It's not bad, just more tailored to the Japanese palate. Not recommended.

It is located inside the Miyashita Park. It is easy to find by climbing the escalator along Meiji Street. I went on a weekend afternoon, so it was not too crowded, with a waiting time of less than 15 minutes to enter. Orders are placed using a QR code. The interior of the restaurant was dimly lit. My friend couldn't forget the Bak Kut Teh they ate in Singapore, so we came to this restaurant. According to my friend, it tasted just like the Bak Kut Teh they were looking for. I ordered the Hainanese Chicken Rice. It came with various sauces that I mixed according to my preference. The chicken was tender and paired perfectly with the flavorful rice. It seems like a good option for those on a diet.

Two girls who missed lunch at 4:30pm on a weekday visited this restaurant. It was a relief to find a place to eat other than fast food at this time! Since we didn't see any lunch menus, we assumed that lunch hours had ended. I tried Khao Man Gai for the first time. The chicken was moist and tender, and very delicious. The jasmine rice paired well with the meat and sauce. There were three sauce options: chili sauce, soy sauce, and ginger sauce. Personally, I liked the slightly sweet soy sauce the best! We each ordered a medium size Khao Man Gai and also ordered shrimp chili. We left feeling full.

For my first meal in Tokyo and Kanazawa, I visited the Hainan Chicken Rice Cafeteria in Miyashita Park for the purpose of using my shareholder benefits. It was a Sunday, so even though it was past 1 p.m., I had to wait for about 20 minutes. I love the dish Kaomangai, so of course I ordered the Hainan Chicken Rice, which is also the restaurant's namesake. I opted for the L size with extra meat and a highball, and later added a Tiger beer. The chicken breast meat was very tender, and when mixed with the three sauces (sweet soy sauce, ginger, chili), it was incredibly delicious. #HainanChickenRiceCafeteria5MiyashitaPark #HainanChickenRiceCafeteria #HainanChickenRice #TigerBeer #TokyoGourmet #TokyoLunch #ShibuyaGourmet #ShibuyaLunch #SingaporeanCuisine #ShareholderBenefits #CreateRestaurant #Foodstagram #Foodstagrammer #Tabelog #LookingToConnectWithPeopleWhoLoveEating #LookingToConnectWithPeopleWhoLoveTraveling #MiyashitaPark

I believe this 1st and 2nd store are located in Roppongi, on a slightly hidden side street. I had delicious Hainan chicken rice at the Roppongi store years ago, so I wanted to try it here as well. Today, I finally got the chance. Since I don't know when I can visit again, I decided to indulge a little and challenge myself to eat two dishes: "Hainan Chicken Rice" and "Laksa". I also added the green chili pickles. First, the Laksa arrived. Hmm, the unique aroma and spiciness, delicious! When I finished, the chicken rice arrived. The rice was quite tasty. I think the chicken was a bit tough. It would have been even better if it was a bit more tender. Thank you for the meal. It was delicious.

On this day, during lunch break, we decided to eat out and chose a nearby restaurant that seemed to serve food quickly. It was my first time at this restaurant in Miyashita Park, where you order by scanning the QR code on the table. This time, I ordered:
- Hainan Chicken Rice (S size)
You can choose from S, M, L, or Mega sizes, each with a different price. It comes with chicken soup, and you can enjoy different sauces like chili sauce, dark soy sauce, and ginger sauce for flavor variation. All the sauces have a nice punch to them and are delicious. There are instructions on the table on how to eat Hainan Chicken Rice:
1. Put your preferred sauce on the chicken. You can mix it or eat it separately.
2. Use a spoon as a knife to cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
3. Skillfully use a fork to place the chicken and rice on the spoon.
4. Take a big bite. Enjoy the complex aroma in your mouth and nose.
5. Refresh yourself with the soup.
6. Eat with full concentration!
For reference, I also ordered:
- Butter-flavored Indian bread Roti Paratha
This was served much earlier than the Hainan Chicken Rice. The bread is soft and thin, with a subtle buttery flavor. It's best to eat it with a main dish that has a strong flavor. Personally, I like simple flavors, so I thought it was good on its own. The food arrived in about 5 minutes after ordering, so it's convenient for when you're in a hurry!
