Today, I decided to come here for some soba soup. It's starting to cool down a bit, isn't it? Well, even in summer, soba soup is good. When I entered the restaurant, I ran into an acquaintance. They were having lunch, so we exchanged greetings. Whenever I come here, I always start with soba soup and chicken skewers. It's a great place to spend time.

It's hot today, so I decided to go to Asakusa. I was unsure where to go, but ended up at this place. When I entered the shop, the proprietress asked, "The usual?" I nodded and ordered the soba soup. I always think their soba soup is exceptional. And before I knew it, I felt a sense of relief and relaxation.

I'm happy that the opening hours have been moved up by an hour, now starting at 10:30 on weekdays and 10:00 on weekends. It had been a while since my last visit, so I started with my usual buckwheat soba soup and chicken and wasabi. Still delicious. The tempura is also really good. (laughs)

On a crowded Sunday in Asakusa, with inbound tourists everywhere, I found a spot to slip into easily. Next to me were three Korean guys, but behind me was a regular older man enjoying ten-soba. Surprisingly, there were more Japanese customers here. I wonder if it's because of the sophisticated atmosphere. I ordered soba with raw egg yolk soy sauce and edamame in soba broth. Despite the slightly higher price range, the quality was outstanding. The soba was a seasonal "yukari cut" variety, delicately flavored with shiso. It was delicious, but the noodles were a bit fragile and tended to break apart easily, which may be why it's not commonly seen. I also ordered one whole shrimp tempura, which was cut into four pieces for easy dipping. A thoughtful touch. My wife had tempura donburi and cold soba, both simple yet delicious. The tempura was fried crispy and firm, holding up well in the generous tempura sauce. Many old-school Asakusa restaurants tend to have watery sauces, but this place was different. I would definitely come back here.

I love going to soba noodle restaurants, so I stopped by here after returning from Hokkaido. Even though it's hot outside, the soba soup with hot water is delicious. After enjoying the chicken and wasabi, I finally tried the shrimp and small fish tempura that I missed last time. Customers kept coming in one after another, and it's really a great restaurant.

I started drinking in the evening on a rainy day and then headed to Asakusa. I visited Tagawa-san near Kaminarimon, which I had been curious about. I ordered a Japanese sake called Masumi and tempura to enjoy with it. After that, I ordered green tea soba. The soba noodles were thinner than I expected, but they had a good texture and were delicious. I found the soba broth a bit too strong for my liking.

I walk about 15 kilometers every day as part of my daily routine. I walk from Asakusabashi Station, from Kuramae, from Tamachi... I'll stop here. I visited this place again, and everything was delicious. Lately, I've been feeling not as young, and I've started a weight loss plan, so I can't eat as much. Yakitori, tempura, karashi renkon, and more... I finished with a mixed plate of udon and soba noodles! I should also mention that the landlady was working dressed like a carp streamer. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the restaurant around lunchtime and waited for about 20 minutes. The restaurant can seat about 8 groups of people. They offer various types of soba noodles, including seasonal options. The cherry blossom-colored soba noodles were beautiful! I ordered a tempura rice bowl, a set of soba noodles, and a rolled omelette, along with the cherry blossom soba noodles. The soba noodles didn't have a strong aroma but had a unique texture. It didn't give off a strong soba flavor. The cherry blossom soba noodles had a noticeable cherry blossom scent and were delicious. The tempura rice bowl had a slightly strong soy sauce flavor. The tempura was crispy. The rolled omelette was fluffy. There were also customers enjoying alcohol, so the turnover rate might be a bit slow, but overall, it was a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere that seemed to be loved by locals.

There is a soba restaurant near the side street of Kaminarimon where I feel like visiting regularly. They have a unique tempura bowl with two shrimp and shishito peppers. Even though it's a soba restaurant, I've only tried their slightly sweet tempura bowl. If you like a simple tempura bowl, you will definitely be satisfied here.

I was invited to a gathering of gentlemen and ladies. As a lightweight drinker, I felt a bit out of place among the heavy drinkers, but I decided to give it a try. I battled with highballs. This time, the focus was on drinking, and I reached a state of ecstasy with sweet atsuage, salted fish guts, and special nabe-yaki udon (please note that the default menu is not displayed). As a summary, the proprietress still maintained her beauty. I tried udon for the first time this time, and the broth was truly excellent. Next time, I want to challenge myself with a large zaru soba with grated yam dipping sauce and zaru udon. P.S. The gentleman arrived late, but it would be better to flesh out the content a bit more. It's for your own good. Thank you for the meal.

On a Sunday in Asakusa, and it's Christmas season, so there are lots of young couples. We managed to make our way through the crowd and avoided the Thunder Gate, heading towards here instead. It's cold, so the buckwheat soba soup with alcohol was incredibly delicious. We started with the usual chicken and wasabi, and had a great time drinking. It was delicious!

I felt like eating something warm because of the cold weather, so I happened to pass by a sign saying they had warm soba. I decided to try it out. I started with a warm soba soup, which really warmed me up. They had a variety of side dishes that all looked delicious. I chose soba with grated yam, which was also very tasty. I also tried avocado with wasabi, which was a perfect side dish. And the seasonal vegetable tempura was amazing, so generously served! I always thought tempura at soba restaurants would be delicious, and this one did not disappoint. It was a cozy experience to drink at a soba restaurant.

I stopped by a soba restaurant called Tagawa near Kaminarimon in Asakusa. By the way, the official name of Kaminarimon is Furaijinmon. The interior of the restaurant was calm. I ordered a tempura assortment. It was colorful and visually appealing, and the taste was great. The avocado wasabi was especially delicious. I also ordered the Tsukimi soba, which was really delicious! The restaurant was not crowded at the time, and it had a clean atmosphere where you could escape from the hustle and bustle of Kaminarimon. I thought it would be nice if they had more variety of sake.

For lunch that day, I ended up at Tagawa-san's place after some hesitation. Even though it was already past 1 PM, it was quite crowded. On a cold day, starting with soba soup with hot water is a must. And you can't go wrong with shrimp and small fish tempura. I ended up drinking too much without realizing it.

I visited this restaurant near Kaminarimon gate for a meeting. I ordered a variety of dishes including salted fish guts, thick rolled omelette, miso-marinated tofu, duck grill, and assorted tempura. Personally, I enjoyed the salted fish guts. The overall prices are a bit high due to the tourist location, but it's understandable given the location, and the landlady is beautiful. She is efficient and a model server. I ended with the seasonal menu of oyster soba, which had a strong and flavorful broth typical of Kyoto soba. They also have a great selection of dishes perfect for drinking. However, be aware that they close early at night. Thank you for the meal.

At night, I went to a soba restaurant in a tourist area next to the Starbucks near the Kaminarimon gate. It was early, so there were no other customers. I was seated at a designated table because a group was expected to arrive later. There was a TV in the back, so I watched it while waiting. I decided to try the seasonal soba, which was the "mushroom soba" for 1,600 yen including tax. It was filled with plenty of mushrooms, along with tempura, quail egg, and carrots. The broth was dark and rich, typical of Kanto style. The dish was healthy and delicious. I used a local coupon to pay for the meal. It was a delightful dining experience.

The narrow road next to me had a soba restaurant, and I initially wanted to go for tendon. However, because it was the first day of a three-day weekend, Asakusa was extremely crowded. When visiting Tagawa-san, about half the time I skip the soba and enjoy the appetizers instead. Starting with chicken wasabi, everything is delicious so the appetizers are very satisfying. On this day, after the chicken wasabi, I had the deep-fried mountain yam with seaweed. It's always a quiet and pleasant time spent at this restaurant.
