I often visit Seiryu-san. Although the main entrance is in the west, the main store is actually in the east. This is my second time visiting the east entrance. The restaurant offers great value for the quality of the food. Despite appearing to be a casual and affordable izakaya, the quality of the dishes is actually quite high. Starting from the simple appetizer, you can see the quality in each dish. In the past, there was a trend of comprehensive izakaya chains, but now specialized izakayas are more common. That's why it's rare to find a comprehensive izakaya like Seiryu with such good value and quality. I visit this place often. On this day, I went to Seiryu for the second day in a row. The pickling was well done, and when topped with wasabi, it was amazing! This dish makes you want to eat it with rice because it's so delicious. It was cheaper than buying it at a supermarket or department store! ⭐️Chive Pancake⭐️380 yen For the price, this dish was surprisingly large with plenty of chives! You need to wait for it to melt before drinking to fully enjoy the flavor. Having 6 different lemon sours to choose from, plus other sours available, is amazing! Personally, I loved the Brewery Lemon Sour and the Honey Lemon Sour, they were divine!

I stopped by Seiryu after shopping in Ikebukuro. I love lemon sour and sake, so the lemon sour made with sake is a perfect drink for me. I ordered katsuo tataki for around 500 yen, garlic stir-fried greens for 380 yen, cold masu for 190 yen, and suji ko soy sauce pickles for 380 yen, totaling around 2,000 yen. The seasonal ingredients are very reasonably priced and this is a must-visit restaurant. Thank you for the delicious meal as always.

I knew I could drink at a soba shop near the Higashi-guchi intersection, but tonight I wanted to try something different. Last night, you and I sang a duet for the third time, scoring 93 points and celebrating like we had set a new Japanese record. But behind that joy, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the mysterious and beautiful aura of Miwako Fujitani. So, I found "Seiryu Ikebukuro Main Store" near the intersection and decided to give it a try. The place looked clean and cheap, and I quickly found a seat at a corner table. I ordered a strong sake and enjoyed the cool liquid in the glass tokkuri. It made me feel happy and content, despite the strong alcohol content. As I reflected on the past week and listened to songs by Goro Noguchi, I couldn't help but feel like everyone around me was chasing after past lovers. Was it Goro Noguchi's influence that awakened something in me? I also made sure to eat some vegetables for my health. The fresh vegetables from Seiryu's farm enhanced the flavor of the salt I sprinkled on them. The sake and gyoza were satisfying, and I felt a rush of energy. I tried a different sake and enjoyed some seafood dishes. Each bite of the sashimi konnyaku reminded me of the first time I tried it and how terrible it was. But now, I could appreciate the dish and enjoy the flavors.

This restaurant is located right outside the west exit of Ikebukuro Station. I've been to their branch in Kabukicho before and have visited multiple times. On this day, I decided to have drinks in Ikebukuro and chose this place near the west exit. We were seated on the second floor at a table. They offer a casual all-you-can-drink course that you can order on the same day. We started with draft beer, and dishes started coming out one by one. Edamame, pickled cucumbers and eggplants, and then speedily ordered more beer. We also had frankfurter sausages, a unique dish that surprisingly paired well with beer. The mixed pizza was another popular dish that tasted delicious. As we continued to enjoy our drinks, we also had grilled whole squid, one of my favorite dishes. With two hours of drinking, the total bill came to 3000 yen. The atmosphere was laid-back and the prices were reasonable, allowing us to have a relaxed drinking session.

We stopped by for a short time for a second party. Even at 8 pm, the restaurant was still lively. We had two glasses of Japanese sake Seiryu and grilled thick tofu. The bill came to around 1000 yen per person, which was surprising. We were able to spend a relaxing and quiet time. Thank you, we will visit again.

We had curry for lunch, wandered around the department store and Animate, and then had a light and early dinner here. We started with a beer for the adults and a cola for the kids. The appetizer was a clam and bamboo shoot stew, which was only 200 yen, quite reasonable. Since everyone wasn't very hungry from the curry lunch, we opted for light snacks like edamame, pickled cucumber, sashimi, and fried horse mackerel. They were all reasonably priced and tasted decent, but nothing really stood out. I switched to sake from my second drink, which paired well with the sashimi and pickles, but not so much with the fried fish that came later. The two adults had three drinks each, while my daughter had one cola. The total bill for the three of us was around 5000 yen, which I think is quite reasonable. It's a good place for pre-drinks or a light post-dinner drink. They also have cheap courses and options like 60 minutes of all-you-can-drink lemon sour for 500 yen, which I'd like to try with my drinking buddies.

When I was working in Higashi-Ikebukuro, I used to come here often, and I visited here after a long time to watch a movie! The building looks much cleaner since the reconstruction! It's still crowded as usual! It was around 6 pm on Saturday. The menu has large drinks! It's nice to have seasonal items available too! They have a variety of mountain vegetable dishes! Located in the drinking district just a short walk from the east exit of Ikebukuro Station is the main branch of Kiyoryu, a sake brewery izakaya. This branch is one of the three in Ikebukuro and one of about 10 throughout Tokyo. I made a reservation for 8:00 pm on a weekday for my first visit. I chose this branch out of the three in Ikebukuro because the entire third floor allows smoking, which I mentioned when making the reservation. I opted for the cheapest course at 2,980 yen with all-you-can-drink, and decided to order additional food if needed. The banquet course included 6 dishes for 1,980 yen and the drink all-you-can for 1,200 yen. The dishes included a sashimi platter, edamame & tamagoyaki, pickled vegetables platter, frankfurter, assorted fried foods (French fries, fried chicken, fried dumplings), margherita pizza, and bara chirashi. They used to serve hot pot as the closing dish until February, but they switched to bara chirashi in March. The drink all-you-can included Sapporo beer, sours, cocktails, highballs, shochu, and sake. Although there were only 6 dishes, I was quite full and didn't need to order anything extra. The seating was for a 2-hour limit, with the last drink order 30 minutes before the end. Credit cards were accepted for payment. With a cost of less than 3,000 yen per person, it was affordable and a good value, so I would definitely come back again.
