I chose the Negitoro Miso Ramen for the day. The soup has a rich pork bone flavor with a subtle miso taste. It's a good soup that you can savor deeply. The sharp spiciness of the green onions stands out, and the overall balance is good. The chashu has a firm meaty texture but a soft bite, making it easy to eat. The seasoning is just right, really delicious. Overall, it's a hearty bowl, but thanks to the effect of grated yam, it leaves your stomach feeling refreshed after eating. It feels a bit indulgent, but there's no guilt after eating. Thank you for the meal!

The other day, I visited the super famous ramen shop, Ippatsu Ramen Hachioji Main Store, located a 5-minute walk from Hachioji Station on the JR Chuo Line, Yokohama Line, and Hachiko Line. I went there with my son after enjoying the last Tokyo Summerland of the 2023 season. We ordered the large miso ramen to share, and it was amazing as always! The performance was outstanding! We added extra chashu to share, but I was worried because the Mexican salamander, also known as the axolotl, that I had met before near the entrance was no longer there.

Located about a 6-minute walk from Hachioji Station, this ramen shop has been loved in Hachioji for many years! I chose the classic shoyu ramen this time, as I had just had some drinks. The soup had a noticeable layer of oil on top, but surprisingly it was quite refreshing when I took a sip. It had a good depth of flavor and the noodles were slightly firm, with a nice texture that went well with the soup and oil. I ordered the regular size, which was quite satisfying. Although I went with the simple shoyu ramen this time, this shop offers a wide variety of toppings that are unique and interesting. I definitely want to go back to try different toppings next time!

Two people were standing in line, but the turnover is fast here. We were able to get in quickly. It took some time to find the "Mekatoro Chashu Miso" that we were looking for in the lineup of ticket machines. We also ordered a Genkidama. We placed our food tickets and this time we asked for Katame. It was prepared quickly. It was served right away. "Huh?" They didn't say anything. I ordered a Genkidama. Then I realized that I was supposed to shout "Genkidama!" along with the next person in line. The Katame was a bit powdery, but still delicious. It's been a while, but I sweated a lot while eating and finished the soup as well. It was a regular portion, but I felt extremely full around 10:30 after eating two bread rolls earlier. My stomach was completely bloated.

Ippatsu Ramen Hachioji Main Store! Negitoro Miso Ramen! 950 yen! Correct! Ramen with yamaimo! Sounds good! The heart ❤️ is probably kombu? I want to drink all the soup, it's that good! But for me, it was a bit too strong! Next time, I'll ask for it to be diluted!

On September 1st, I caught a cold and on September 5th, I was still recovering. Today, on my day off, I watched a movie in Tachikawa in the morning and then returned to my hometown. I decided to have some "recovery ramen" at a popular local spot called "Ippatsu Ramen." Even arriving at 1 pm, there was still a small line forming. I ordered their famous "Negi Toro Miso Chashu Ramen (medium firmness, strong flavor)" for 1150 yen plus 100 yen. First, I took a sip of the rich soup and thought "this is it." Then, I tackled the perfectly cooked chashu in the bowl to boost my spirits. The generous amount of thin noodles in the medium portion also helped. The tororo topping added an extra boost to my immune system. What a wonderful meal. Towards the end, I added plenty of self-serve garlic and chili bean paste to finish it off. I left the restaurant fully satisfied and my summer cold has been cured. Thank you very much. Even though I was still recovering, the staff commented, "You sure know how to eat!" Thank you for the delicious meal.

The staff at this ramen shop were very kind and welcoming! The spiciness of the green onions and the tender chashu were excellent. The owner's hobby is keeping lots of goldfish in the shop, and they have multiplied so much that they now offer a service where you can take one home if you bring your own container. They even have a dice game where if you roll a 1, you can take home another goldfish. For goldfish enthusiasts, this is a dream come true!

I was planning to visit another restaurant, but despite it being a weekday afternoon, there was a huge line, so I decided to go to this place instead. I had seen this place on a TV show hosted by Bananaman before, and I always admired the chashu that bloomed like a single flower. However, due to the scorching heat affecting my stomach, I opted for the negi tsukemen. When they handed me the bowl of dipping sauce, it was so heavy that I thought, "Wait, I ordered tsukemen, why did they bring me ramen!?" The server then reassured me that the noodles were coming soon, and indeed, the portion was massive. The soup itself was very flavorful and quite salty, to the point where I thought I'd get swollen the next day if I ate it at night, but it was just right for this summer. The chashu was so tender that I almost thought it would melt, and I regretted not ordering more. Thinking about my health, it might be tough to eat here weekly, but indulging once a month should be fine!

I want to tell my younger self who was a big fan since the old days that it was great to find this restaurant halfway up the hill in front of Fujimori Park before it moved to its current location. When I was young and broke, this place was a lifesaver for getting a full stomach. The toppings were unique and made an impact. It was around the time of the pre-boom of ramen shops, maybe the beginning of the Kandachi Ramen War. The image was like a ramen shop, but a little different. The sliced tororo and the bowl full of blooming chashu were irresistible to young people. Even now, the happy restaurant where you could eat late at night after finishing the night shift during student days is still going strong. It's a mysterious place that makes you want to take even friends who live far away.

I visited the restaurant on Saturday afternoon. I was told that the tsukemen was delicious, so I ordered the Mekatoro tsukemen (miso) with an extra seasoned egg topping for ¥900 + ¥100. It's a great deal that you can choose between regular, medium, and large sizes for the same price. I chose medium. (But to be honest, I could have gone for a large as well). I was looking forward to trying the Mekatoro because it's not something you see often with mekabu and tororo, and it did not disappoint. I was impressed from the first bite and couldn't stop saying "delicious" every 30 seconds. The miso soup was also very tasty, but the combination of the Mekatoro with the thin noodles was outstanding. The seasoned egg was amazing too! The flavor was rich and perfectly balanced between sweet and salty, with just the right amount of creaminess. Having the seasoned egg added by the staff while enjoying such delicious food for only 100 yen was a steal. Next time, I will definitely go for the Mekatoro with extra seasoned egg topping. Thank you so much!

After a long time, I went to the Ippatsu Ramen Hachioji Main Store, which I had been curious about for a while in Hachioji. I ordered the Negi Toro Miso Chashu Ramen. Let's dig in. "A flower blooming in a bowl!" "Yes, the chashu is in full bloom!" That's how my experience at Ippatsu Ramen started! First, I tried the soup. Wow, it's delicious. Not too strong at all. Maybe because of the grated yam, it's very mellow. The spicy negi adds a nice kick from behind. I think I prefer the miso flavor. Next, the noodles. They're thin but have a good chew. Nice. I continue to eat quietly. The soup goes down smoothly. Despite the flashy appearance, it has a gentle flavor. And it seems good for the body too. This place is sure to become popular. I can finish all the chashu easily. It's tender and not too strong in flavor. I decided to add some hot mustard. It changes the flavor and goes down even smoother. To finish, I add vinegar to the remaining soup in the bowl and drink it. Hmm, I feel like the garlic is also working its magic. With this much health power, it's no wonder I feel energized (laughs). And after finishing the soup, I feel like I didn't consume many calories or fats. I ponder on this while finishing up. I concluded my experience at Ippatsu Ramen by saying "Your good drinking style is encouraging." Encouragement is important in everything, isn't it?

After working overtime, I drove to the Hachioji main branch of Ippatsu Ramen. Despite it being close to closing time, the place was packed as usual due to its popularity. During the hot season, I always go for the tsukemen option. Of course, I added extra grated yam for an energy boost. The single flower blooming in the bowl was quickly mixed with the soup and grated yam to make it easier to eat. I should have gone for a large portion instead of a regular one, as the noodles were delicious. After finishing the noodles, I added a lot of vinegar and finished my meal. #IppatsuRamen #HachiojiCity #Tokyo #ramen #noodles #gourmet #tsukemen #noodlestagram #noodlelover #ramenlover #TokyoRamenMania #RamenClub #ramenenthusiast #ramenlover #ramenpatrol #japanesefood #ramennoodles

Visited Ichipaku Ramen for the first time and was greeted with their signature dish, Negi Toro Chashu Ramen with a half-boiled seasoned egg on top. The chashu slices looked like a blooming flower in the bowl! The performance of serving the dish with a shout of "Chashu in full bloom!" was fun to watch. The ramen was delicious, with grated nagaimo adding a unique texture to the rich soup. The heart-shaped kombu floating on top was a cute touch. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

This is the Ippatsu Ramen main store. The store has moved, but I have been going there since I was 18 years old. After becoming an adult, I often go to the Sagamihara store, but I have been eating Ippatsu Ramen since a long time ago. The staff are all energetic and the Genkidama (energy ball) has become a specialty. When you order an Ajitama (flavored egg), you can get energy from the Genkidama. I have tried the Tororo ramen before and it is delicious, but it fills you up so much that your stomach feels like it will burst. The Mechatro ramen doubles in size.

I visited around 11:00 for lunch and there was no wait. I wanted to add a boiled egg as a topping, but I was too embarrassed to shout "Genki Dama~" so I gave up. I got extra green onions instead. As always, it was delicious. The chashu was tender, the tororo and soup went well together, the crunchy green onions and sesame oil flavor, it was amazing. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I love this ramen shop so much that I'm willing to spend two hours one way to go there. This is my second month in a row coming here. Today, I had the medium-sized ramen with extra green onions and chashu. The single flower blooming in the bowl looks beautiful as always. The chashu, soup, and noodles all harmonize perfectly and taste delicious. The staff's service is also outstanding, with friendly and polite interactions.

When I was young, I used to frequent Ichibatsu Ramen. It used to be located near Fujimori Park, but it moved here in 2009. This was my first visit since the relocation. I ordered the nostalgic "Negi Toro Miso Chashu Ramen." The visual presentation is the same as before, except for the heart-shaped topping. It was still delicious! Thank you for the meal.

Visited the Hachioji main store for the first time. Ordered the soy sauce negi chashu tsukemen extra large (1,000 yen) with extra green onions (150 yen) and mekatoro (150 yen). Similar lineup to the Sagamihara store I visited recently. The food is consistently delicious, but I feel like it lacks a bit of sharpness. It's tasty, so I will definitely visit again.

Arrived at 11:40 on Saturday, waited behind 2 people. Seated in about 5 minutes. Ordered Negi-Toro Shoyu Ramen for 900 yen. It came with sliced green onions and shredded tororo, which I haven't seen much elsewhere. The clear soup was much lighter and tastier than I expected. Mixing the tororo and green onions with the noodles created a unique and delicious flavor. It was a one-of-a-kind experience! Luckily, there was a long line of over 10 people waiting when I left. I would love to go back if I'm in the area again.

On Saturday, July 1st, how are you all doing? Today, as usual, I had rehabilitation at the neurosurgery department. In the afternoon, I had my regular cleaning at the dentist. So, I spent the day close to home. I went to a famous ramen shop in Hachioji known for its unique call-outs. The walls were decorated with gourmet posters and a group photo of Nihonjin and the staff. They were even featured on a TV show called "Banana Sandwich," although that was at their Sagamihara branch. Today, I tried their ramen with the following toppings: green onions, soft-boiled egg, and chashu pork. What was different this time was the addition of grated yam. When the dish arrived, the staff shouted, "A single flower blooming in a bowl." Since I ordered a soft-boiled egg, they also shouted, "Energizing egg." The chashu pork, resembling flower petals, was tender and juicy, while the green onions were crunchy. The curly noodles and hearty soup were a perfect match, and the addition of grated yam was a nice touch. The yam blended well with the noodles and soup, making them smooth and delicious. As a fan of slimy textures, this dish was irresistible to me. Not only was the ramen tasty, but the call-outs added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. I highly recommend trying this ramen. Thank you for the meal.

After a year, I visited Ichigatsu Ramen in Hachioji and had my favorite Miso Negi Toro Chashu Men. The presentation was like a flower blooming in a bowl, absolutely stunning! The soup, noodles mixed with tororo, tender chashu, green onions with sesame oil, everything was delicious and well-balanced! It was an amazing bowl. Thank you for the meal!
