Located in Ginza 7-chome, Ginza Chukagai is a Chinese restaurant called "Ginza-Tei." I had never heard of it before, even though I often come to this area for lunch. The specialty here is the Mapo Harusame Don, which I tried for the first time during lunch. The moment I tasted it, I was shocked by how delicious it was. The balance of flavors seemed perfectly calculated. This is definitely a place I will visit again. Later in the evening, I unexpectedly visited again (lol). I ordered fried rice, 3 dumplings, and a bottle of beer as a late-night snack after drinking. The fried rice was unbelievably delicious! It was the best. The pickled ginger added a nice touch. The dish also came with ramen soup, which added to the overall satisfaction. The dumplings were also quite large and tasty, filled with vegetables. In just one day, I became a fan of Ginza-Tei! I definitely want to go back. It's been a while since I've been so impressed. On another day, I tried the Eggplant Miso Stir-fry Set, Ginza Yakiniku Set, Ramen, Miso Ramen, Pork Kimchi Ramen, and Ankake Yakisoba, and they were all exquisite! Probably, everything here is delicious.

Drinking in Ginza and eating in Ginza. A town Chinese restaurant named Ginza-tei after the famous Ginza district. Tonight, I had my last meal here once again. The restaurant was packed as usual, but after waiting for about a minute, I was seated at the counter in the back right corner. Other customers ordered gyoza, so I decided to join in and efficiently cook them together. The waitress quickly asked if I wanted gyoza, and I immediately said yes. I tried the gyoza at Ginza-tei for the first time, priced at 800 yen for six pieces. It was a bit expensive, but the taste was heavenly. The crispy skin was infused with just the right amount of garlic aroma, and the juicy deliciousness spread throughout my mouth. And as always, I had the Maabo Harusame Don for 1000 yen. It's just too good. The perfect blend of spiciness, sourness, and umami, with the pickled ginger adding a nice finishing touch. I couldn't stop eating, and before I knew it, the dish was empty. Thank you for the delicious meal. I will definitely come back again!

I went twice in one day, at 10 pm and 1 am, but they serve lunch so I feel like going again. It's that good. The fried rice is not the dry kind, but moist and perfectly seasoned. The dumplings are also delicious. I am confident that I won't be disappointed. I want to try everything on the menu.

I went to Ginza-Tei, where I always see a line, to satisfy my hunger. The customer service in Tokyo is usually like this, I've noticed. We waited in line, and since it was hot, we ordered bottled beer. We shared mapo spring roll rice bowl, fried rice, miso ramen. The staff were friendly and one even skillfully tossed the pot. The food arrived hot and delicious, especially the mapo spring roll rice bowl which was amazing. Everything was hot, maybe because of the oil. The food was delicious! The miso ramen had a strong miso flavor and was tasty. I will definitely visit again.

Ginza Tei, a long-established Chinese restaurant in Higashi-Ginza, is a popular spot for lunch. Their "Mapo Harusame Don" is a must-try dish, combining the spiciness of Mapo Harusame with the mildness of egg perfectly. The fried rice was also delicious. Despite the crowded lunchtime with office workers, it's worth a visit when it's less busy. I'll definitely go back when the weather cools down.

Today I wanted to eat ramen! And fried rice too! I really wanted to have the richly flavored one with lots of pork fat, but there's no place in Ginza that serves that, so instead, I headed to Ginza-Tei at the edge of Ginza, which always guarantees satisfaction no matter what you order. After finishing work, I walked 8 minutes to get there. It was 9:00 pm, and I thought there might be a line, but there was only one person waiting. Maybe the demand for hot Chinese food in a hot restaurant is low during this season. I was seated after a 5-minute wait, and I ordered gyoza while waiting, thinking I would eat that first, but my umaniku ramen arrived in just 5 minutes. My colleague and I took a bite, and the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the umaniku was so hot and delicious! I wondered if it was because of the umaniku. Then, the fried rice arrived, shiny and juicy. It looked so delicious that it could be the epitome of tasty street-style Chinese fried rice. I wanted to applaud after just one bite. The gyoza that arrived later was crispy and hot, with a perfect brown sear. The taste was also like the perfect example of delicious gyoza. What's even more wonderful is the thoughtfulness of the staff. They always bring out sharing bowls and plates with a bright smile, and gladly provide containers and bags for leftovers. Despite being covered in sweat from the hot kitchen, the staff always give a warm farewell with a genuine smile, leaving me feeling satisfied both in my stomach and my heart. Ginza-Tei truly offers nostalgic deliciousness and excellent customer service, making it a place I want to visit regularly even if it's crowded.

I visited this restaurant that stays open late, even past 10:30 pm, which is rare. When I entered, I was asked if I wanted to order dumplings, as they take some time to prepare. I ended up ordering them.
- Ordered:
Mapo Tofu and Vermicelli Rice Bowl - 1000 yen
The visual presentation is unique and appealing. It's a popular dish at the restaurant, with addictive flavors that make you keep eating. The pickled ginger adds a nice touch.
6 Dumplings - 800 yen
They are decently sized and juicy, with a classic taste. They could be a bit cheaper, but considering the size and the location, it's understandable.
If I ever crave late-night Chinese food again, I will definitely come back here.

This restaurant, which just finished its Obon holiday yesterday, is back to regular business today. Despite the heat, they are serving chilled noodles today. The restaurant was full as soon as it opened, with customers lining up outside. After waiting for about 20 minutes, the beautiful bowl of noodles arrived. The noodles, unique to this restaurant, were delicious with a good amount of toppings. The noodles were thick and chewy, and with various toppings, it was enjoyable until the last bite. This restaurant never disappoints with whatever you order.

"Udon as the main dish" instagram https://instagram.com/alwaysudon/ Udon as the main dish TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@alwaysudon Long time no see! Whether you go for lunch, in the evening, or even at midnight, it's always full with a long line. And once you sit down, you always end up being indecisive. I went thinking I would have miso ramen, but the person next to me was eating fried rice, so I started to hesitate (laughs). In the end, I ended up with a mapo tofu and glass noodle bowl... but this is delicious too. Everything here is delicious! Dangerous! Official blog https://alwaysudon.com/

I visited a famous local Chinese restaurant in Ginza 7-chome for lunch. The restaurant opened at 11:30, and it had a traditional feel with only counter seats. Although I was interested in dishes like "fried rice" and "miso stir-fried eggplant," I decided to try their specialty menu item.
- Mapo Harusame Don (Mapo-style glass noodle rice bowl) @ 1,000 yen (tax included)
* Comes with Chinese soup
* Payment by cash only
The Mapo Harusame Don consisted of fluffy scrambled eggs on rice, topped with minced meat and glass noodles in a savory sauce. The sauce had a slightly spicy and rich soy sauce flavor that was addictively delicious. The combination with the eggs and rice was excellent, and it lived up to my expectations in terms of taste. I could taste the spiciness from the doubanjiang, and it became quite spicy towards the end. If you like Tianjin rice, you will probably enjoy this dish. It was quite filling, but I enjoyed it until the end with pickled ginger and greens as palate cleansers.
However, I found the service lacking and the warmth typical of local Chinese restaurants was missing. The seating was cramped, and there was no place to put belongings, making the atmosphere less than ideal. While the food was delicious, the overall experience, including service and atmosphere, did not live up to the high rating. Many regular customers seemed to order ramen and half-fried rice. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a delicious Chinatown restaurant in Tokyo. On a weekday night, there was a wait for 5 people, and only counter seats were available. The large gyoza was tasty, priced at 800 yen, and the fried rice with extra toppings was 1000 yen, plus 200 yen for a bottle of beer, totaling 2650 yen. The gyoza was large and delicious, and the fried rice was fluffy with ingredients like egg, char siu, nori, and green onions. The complimentary Chinese soup was also delicious. This place is known for its tasty Chinese soup, so everything else on the menu is good too. The prices are a bit high because it's in Ginza.

Located in Higashi-Ginza, this Chinese restaurant is a bit of a walk from both Higashi-Ginza and Shinbashi stations. I visited this place after a night of drinking in Shinbashi. Known for staying open late, even before 10 pm there was still a line, but it moved quickly and we were seated in about 15 minutes. The restaurant has a central kitchen surrounded by a U-shaped counter with about 15 seats. The kitchen was bustling with many cooks preparing dishes. I was craving cold noodles, so I ordered the following dishes: pan-fried dumplings, cold noodles, and fried rice with soup. The fried rice exceeded my expectations with its glossy and perfectly coated rice that was both fluffy and moist. The generous amount of eggs and finely chopped char siu added to the deliciousness. Mixing in the pickled ginger added a refreshing touch. The soup that came with the fried rice was also flavorful and satisfying. The cold noodles were packed with ingredients, making it hard to see the noodles but easy to enjoy. The noodles had a chewy texture and were topped with plenty of char siu, adding a rich meaty flavor. The addition of glass noodles at the bottom was a nice surprise. The large pan-fried dumplings had a crispy exterior and a generous amount of filling, making them a satisfying choice. Despite being the second stop of the night, the meal left us full and satisfied. The total bill came to 2,000 yen per person, including drinks, making it a great value for the quality and quantity of food. I definitely want to come back to try their famous mapo tofu and spring roll rice bowl.

I visited for lunch on a regular weekday! There were about 2 groups waiting, but we were seated quickly and had gyoza, leek and liver stir-fry, chilled noodles, and bottled beer. Honestly, it was the most delicious gyoza and chilled noodles I have ever had in my life! If I have another business trip to Tokyo, I will definitely come back!!

Without knowing what has become of Mihara with the disappearance of the traffic hotel, my last stronghold in the city is this Chinese restaurant. Today, I visited for dinner. While everyone orders the mapo tofu rice bowl, I opted for dumplings, fried rice, and a beer. Both the dumplings and fried rice are available in half portions, but I went for the full sizes. Only bottled beer is served in the not-so-well-air-conditioned restaurant, but enjoying this set of three dishes while sweating is the best. Although the portion size is ideal for two people, I usually end up going alone and indulging in the food. The dumplings have a thin skin but are chewy with a ginger-flavored filling. Six pieces are quite filling. The fried rice is generously topped with pickled ginger and the portion of rice is just right. It's a very classic fried rice that I occasionally crave. Thank you for the meal today.

In Ginza, at a Chinese restaurant, I had the Liver and Chive Set Meal for 1300 yen. It had lots of vegetables like chives and bean sprouts, and the liver was thinly sliced in the typical Liver and Chive style. The taste was delicious, but I felt the portion of liver was a bit stingy. For 1300 yen, I would have preferred larger, thicker cuts of liver. I hope to see improvements in other menu items.

No matter how passionately I talk about the greatness of "Ginza-tei," my friends and acquaintances only respond with a question mark. Initially, I had no intention of writing on Tabelog, but I must write about it now (laughs). At first glance, it may seem like an ordinary restaurant, but it is always packed with customers, a thriving establishment. One of the highlights here is the "fried rice" - light and fragrant, slightly moist and tender. No matter how much I try to describe it, I cannot accurately convey the deliciousness of that fried rice. I can only say, "Ending the night in Ginza with Ginza-tei is a sure bet!" The dumplings are also incredibly delicious!

Fried rice for 1000 yen. Visited after a long time due to the pandemic. There are 5-6 people in the kitchen, but more than half of the faces have changed. I was a little worried, but the taste of the fried rice hasn't changed. Still delicious and satisfying as always. The soup with green onions is also delicious with nothing to complain about. The price has gone up.

I had never had the opportunity to enter this Chinese restaurant in this town before, but this time, while shopping in Ginza in the evening, we decided to have dinner here. The food was incredibly delicious, with rich flavors. The fried rice was moist and the mapo spring roll bowl was satisfying. The dumplings were quickly wrapped and turned out to be delicious. We arrived around 6:30 PM and the restaurant was quite crowded, but around 7:00 PM it seemed to calm down a bit. It left a strong impression that it was quite busy, so it might be good to go at a time when you can easily get in. It would be nice to visit again for a drink after finishing another time!

Today's dinner was ordered from Ginza Tei. I ordered a large serving of fried rice and a side of meat and leek stir-fry. First, the meat and leek stir-fry arrived. It was delicious. The vegetables were crunchy, the meat was juicy and tender, and the seasoning was perfect. Next, the large serving of fried rice arrived. The portion was generous. It was so good. How many servings are in this? But from the first bite to the last, it was consistently delicious, and I finished it in no time. Finally, I ate the remaining meat and leek with the fried rice sauce poured over it. Finished! I am full and completely satisfied. It was delicious.

If you want to eat Chinese food in town, this restaurant comes highly recommended! They serve lunch as well as stay open late, making it a popular spot for those looking for ramen or gyoza to finish off the night. The quick turnover means even if there's a line, you won't have to wait too long to get a table. Just be aware that the seating can be a bit cramped with tables close together.

Minced meat mapo eggplant stir-fry set meal! The sweet miso flavor is well seasoned and the eggplant is also flavorful, making the rice go down smoothly. They also have an English menu for foreigners, so inbound visitors can feel at ease. The food comes out quickly, so it's lucky when you're hungry and there's no line.
