After finishing work on a regular day, my wife and I visited this restaurant located a little further back from the old Tokyu department store. Although I got lost for about 30 seconds, I eventually found it without any issues. I had tried to make a reservation three times before the visit, but each time I was told that the restaurant was fully booked for the entire day even before I could mention a specific time. This place was so popular that I had to call as soon as I knew my schedule to finally secure a reservation. On the day of our visit, I was expecting a busy and crowded atmosphere due to the difficulty of getting a reservation, but surprisingly, the restaurant was calm and quiet, possibly because of the bad weather or the early dining time. We ordered the following items: beef tongue with plenty of green onions, grilled green onions (Senju onions), green onion skewers, simmered beef tendon, chicken karage, seafood bowl, beer, and sake (including refills). The standout dish was definitely the grilled green onions. The high-quality onions were cooked thoroughly, and the staff advised us to eat everything except the outer layer, which felt almost wasteful because it was so delicious. The dish was versatile and could be enjoyed as an appetizer, side dish, or snack. The meat dishes were also very tasty. We ordered beef tongue, chicken green onion skewers, and simmered beef tendon, each prepared in a way that highlighted the flavors and textures of the ingredients. The broth in the beef tendon dish was slightly sweet, which I personally enjoyed. It had a smooth and mellow taste without the typical saltiness of soy sauce, and the tendon was tender and delicious. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.

I visited for lunch after a long time. The atmosphere is lovely, isn't it? I had the sashimi set meal. The rice was delicious. I also had one piece of fried chicken! It was tasty. I would like to come back in the evening next time. Thank you very much.

A valuable set meal restaurant in Shibuya with delicious white rice, grilled fish, and fried chicken. For 1300 yen, you can enjoy both meat and fish, making it satisfying. The cold barley tea on the table is also nice. The fried chicken has a light seasoning, crispy and juicy. The mackerel is thick and tasty, although it seems like it was reheated instead of freshly grilled. The white rice was delicious. The atmosphere of the old folk house adds to the charm. I enjoyed lunch with sake in the daytime. I would recommend this place in Shibuya if you feel like having a set meal.

I visited this restaurant during my business trip to Tokyo.
[Good points] It is a place where you can feel the atmosphere of adults. All the dishes are refined and very delicious. I also think that the service from the male staff was very good.
[Disappointing points] There were no particular disappointing points.
[Price] 15000 yen

I wanted to quickly grab lunch and saw this place looking not too crowded during lunchtime, so I decided to visit again. Last time I had something like grilled chicken, but this time I remembered that the best value seemed to be the 1200 yen grilled mackerel set. I'll try that next time. It said it came with green onion ponzu, so I was expecting more green onions, but it was just okay. I wish they had the green onion sauce that was available last time, that would have been even better. The portion size was just right, and the fact that it was not crowded meant that the service was quick. It was less busy compared to weekdays, which was nice.

On a regular sunny day, I visited the restaurant upon a friend's request at exactly 11:30. There were no customers yet, so we were able to enter without waiting in line. The man at the restaurant asked me why I had come all the way there, to which I replied, "Just for the food!" (laughs) There were about four sunken kotatsu seats on the second floor, so we sat there. Cold barley tea was served in a pitcher, which was much appreciated on such a hot day. My friend had the yellowtail rice bowl, and I had the recommended Shima Hokke set meal. Apparently, when they get good fish, it goes on the menu. I also wanted to try the fried chicken, so it worked out perfectly! The Hokke fish was large and fatty, and it had been a while since I had eaten it. The fried chicken had a light and crispy coating, and the meat was tender and went well with rice. My friend's yellowtail looked delicious too, and it seemed like everyone was ordering the yellowtail rice bowl. The restaurant staff also mentioned that the grilled chicken was delicious, especially with the special scallion sauce. Well, I'm not a fan of scallions, but I'd still like to go back! (laughs) Overall, it was a great meal!

It's a restaurant I would like to visit again. We were seated on the second floor in a spacious tatami room, which was calm and had a lovely interior. The food was delicious from the appetizers, and the recommended dish, negi kuroyaki, was excellent. Especially, the yuzu chicken hot pot was outstanding.

This is my second visit. I came with my colleague for lunch. This time, we had the daily special, which was a simmered fish set meal. It came in a large plate with a generous portion of simmered fish and tofu, and it was very delicious. There are other menu items that caught my eye, so I would like to come back here again.

This was my second visit. I decided to come back because the food and atmosphere were really good the first time I went. I had only made a reservation for seats, but on the day of, I had to change the time and number of people. When I called, they kindly accepted the changes and said it was fine to let them know the number of people when we arrived. Also, due to work reasons, everyone else was late except for me, but they said it was okay for me to stay until closing time without worrying about the time. The drinks were light, and when I asked for them to be stronger, they kindly offered to add soda. All the dishes were carefully prepared and really delicious. You can enjoy sake and wine and take your time. Next time, I plan to use it for a girls-only outing. Thank you again! If you don't mind green onions, you should definitely give it a try.

Weekend lunch use. The atmosphere of the restaurant is charming, making it perfect for lunch with friends from overseas. They offer a variety of set meals, and despite being a nice place, the prices are reasonable, starting from around 1000 yen. The sashimi set meal has a good variety of sashimi, but the presentation, combination, and flavor are lacking. Maybe it's the freshness or the way the fish was prepared? I will try a different set meal next time. I want to come back for dinner. I'm sure it will be even more delicious.

Located just a little over a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station, this izakaya specializes in green onions, which is quite unique. The interior is Japanese-style and the stylish exterior creates a sense of anticipation that you wouldn't expect in Shibuya. The first floor has a counter and tables in the back, and it seems like there is also a second floor. This time, I used it for lunch. Surprisingly, they offer a variety of fish lunch options, from mackerel to salmon and red snapper. It's great to be able to enjoy a delicious fish set meal with fried chicken. I think there are many people in the Shibuya area who are looking for this kind of lunch. In the evening, this place offers a selection of shochu and other alcoholic beverages, paired with green onion dishes. Wow, I've found a great restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I often use this place for lunch on weekdays. It seems to be gaining attention on Instagram, but during the week, the main customers are nearby office workers, so the atmosphere is quite calm. There are various popular menu items like fried chicken set meals and simmered udon, but every time I come, I end up ordering the yellowtail rice bowl. The slices are thick, with just the right amount of fat, and topping it with a raw egg makes it even more delicious... The amount of rice is quite generous, so women might want to ask for a smaller portion. The taste and atmosphere of the restaurant are lovely, but some of the staff members always come across as a bit arrogant, which is a bit of a downside.

It's better to arrive early for lunch as they won't seat you until everyone in your party is there. The natural fish seafood bowl was delicious, with thickly cooked eggs making me happy. I wished there was a bit more volume, as I wanted to eat more fish. The service from the staff was disappointing.

I was wondering where my acquaintance would take us for our reservation with three people, and it turned out to be this restaurant that specializes in scallions. I'm not a big fan of scallions, so I was a bit worried... but the food was delicious enough for even someone like me who doesn't like scallions to enjoy! The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and very pleasant. They offer a variety of dishes besides scallions, so I recommend everyone to give it a try!

Lunch today was at #Negiya Heikichi in Shibuya. There is a shop in the center of Shibuya with this kind of atmosphere, and of course the food is delicious, but the atmosphere is amazing! If you love green onions, be sure to check it out!

Chicken seared set meal for 1100 yen. There are also options for fish, but since it's a scallion specialty shop and it's my first time here, I chose the seared chicken which had scallion sauce. It was a good choice as the scallions were nicely placed on top and tasted great. The fried chicken option also looked good with 5-6 large pieces served. Both options seem to offer good value for the price and taste good. The grilled fish for 1600 yen also comes with fried chicken, so it seems to be quite a generous portion. It may get crowded around 2 PM, so it's best to come before then if possible. The only downside is that there was slightly less rice compared to the side dishes. They have a point card system and accept cash. Toothpicks and table napkins are provided.

I revisited this restaurant where I failed to get in without a reservation before! This time, I made sure to book in advance. We were guided by a unique foreign staff member and seated at a pleasant table. The Tan Negima (skewered chicken with green onions) was especially delicious. The hot pot was superb all the way to the end. The prices are a bit high, but the taste was great. I would like to try their lunch menu next time!

I didn't know there was a place like this in Shibuya! The entrance looks like a high-class ryokan. Once you open the door, you'll find a charming interior. I visited at night this time, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was fantastic. They had dishes other than green onion-based ones.

I visited on a Saturday afternoon after seeing it introduced on SNS. It's located just past the Center Gai in Shibuya. I arrived at 1:00 pm and there was no line. I ordered the famous sea bream seafood bowl. I decided to get the larger size for 1,800 yen. The sea bream was fresh and the taste was excellent. The only downside was that it took quite a while for the dish to be served.

I visited the restaurant "Negiya Heikichi Shibuya Udagawa-cho" after seeing a post by @kazuuuuuuuuki.gourmet on Instagram. I saved the post because I love yellowtail, and the shiny yellowtail bowl looked delicious. I arrived about 5 minutes after the opening. Some customers were already inside, but they hadn't sold out yet. I ordered the "Yellowtail Fisherman Bowl Set" which is only available during lunchtime, and added an extra egg. The yellowtail was raised in the Kuroshio current in Kyushu and was very fatty and delicious! Each slice was large and thick. This bowl is really a great deal. The miso soup with tofu and green onions was also delicious. The counter and tables were spacious, and the lighting and color scheme were very calming. Those who came after 12 o'clock were told that the yellowtail bowl for the day was sold out. The neighboring table's hot pot udon also looked delicious. I definitely want to come back again. I made a reservation for a holiday and arrived around 6 pm. The restaurant was full of reserved customers, and it was an izakaya where scallions were the main ingredient. It was located a little away from Shibuya, with a calm exterior and an interior that resembled an old folk house, creating a wonderful atmosphere. We ordered scallion charcoal grill, beef tongue with scallions, tuna with scallion and miso, scallion skewers, scallion tempura, scallion kimchi, codfish, and duck and scallion meatballs hot pot, along with 3 alcoholic drinks. The total cost for two people was 18,000 yen, which may be slightly expensive. Overall, the quality of the dishes was high, and if you love scallions, you will definitely be satisfied. Here are some notable impressions of the dishes:
- Scallion charcoal grill: Peel off the burnt skin and enjoy the juicy scallions, which are sweet and fragrant.
- Beef tongue with scallions: The combination of beef tongue and scallions is excellent, with the scallions absorbing the richness of the tongue, and the lemon adds a refreshing touch.
- Scallion kimchi: Mixing spicy white scallions with kimchi creates a unique blend of two different types of spiciness.
- Duck and scallion meatballs hot pot: The richness of the duck, the umami of the scallions, and the flavor of the meatballs all come together perfectly. The porridge at the end is also exceptional.
Even after eating so many scallions, there was no sense of getting tired of them, only a desire to eat more. There are other menu items that caught my attention, so a revisit is definitely necessary.
