Located just a 2-minute walk from Tsukiji Station on the Hibiya Line, this restaurant is in a great location. I arrived at 1:30 pm and found out that the lunch I originally planned to have was sold out. I saw another restaurant nearby and decided to check it out. The energetic and friendly staff greeted me as I entered, and I was seated at the counter. The atmosphere was lively, with regular customers chatting loudly with the staff. Although there were only a few lunch options left, I decided to go with the seafood bowl priced at 1500 yen. The portion was generous, and the quality of the seafood, including squid and tuna, was satisfying. I especially enjoyed the abundance of salmon roe. The staff bid me farewell with their cheerful and welcoming attitude as I left the restaurant. They also accept PayPay for payment.

I wandered around Tsukiji and decided to have lunch at this restaurant. I had a bara chirashi with a beer in hand. The vinegar rice at this restaurant is delicious. It has just the right balance. The ingredients are varied, with ikura and sea urchin on top. In terms of cost performance, it's good. I might try going at night next time.

I occasionally visit this restaurant in the evening, but mainly go during lunchtime to consider the neighbors. The customer service is excellent, with everyone being very kind and friendly. The atmosphere is casual, and the sushi chefs are very welcoming. While Tsukiji may not have many outstanding sushi restaurants, there are some that are quite pricey. This particular restaurant recently increased its prices, but it is understandable given the high cost of living in the area. I often recommend this restaurant for business entertainment purposes as I believe it is a safe choice. Why not give it a try? That's all.

First visit... I arrived around 11:45 and the restaurant was already full with a waiting list of two groups. I was lucky to get a seat 20 minutes later. I struggled with the menu but ended up ordering the premium sushi set. It came with miso soup and was a bit pricey, but since I don't often eat premium sushi, I really enjoyed it and was very satisfied. It was just the right amount.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years, as the prices for lunch and dinner are the same. It's great to be able to enjoy Edo-style sushi at the counter at a low price. I always look forward to eating the special nigiri and the garlic tsubugai as a single item. Eating the anago with salt and sauce as the final dish is a moment of bliss. I will continue to visit this restaurant. It's a favorite of mine.

I visited "Sushi Take" in Tsukiji 2-chome in Chuo Ward for lunch. The restaurant is located in a back alley off Harumi Street. Although the exact details are unclear, it seems to be a new location of the old "Takewaka Bekkan." I arrived slightly before the opening time of 11:15, and the restaurant was already open. I sat at the counter and ordered the "Tsubaki" set menu for lunch, which includes 10 pieces of sushi and a side dish. The meal started with a delicious steamed egg custard. The sushi was served in one go, without any explanation of the types of fish. I added a few more pieces of sushi as I went along, including some seasonal fish like herring and mackerel. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, with only a few customers. The sushi was decent for the price, but I wished there was more interaction with the sushi chefs. As I walked around the area after the meal, I noticed that other similar sushi restaurants like "Tamazushi" were quite busy, while "Sushi Sen" was empty. (Visited on 3/22)

I tried the Bakudan Don at a sushi restaurant for the first time and it was delicious! This was my second visit to this restaurant. They offer free refills of miso soup. I also got to try crab soup and green tea soup during the refill. The Bakudan Don, which includes sea urchin, salmon roe, and natto, costs 1500 yen. Thank you for the delicious meal!

A cute meal suitable for the arrival of spring appeared in front of me ✨ It included sushi, seafood bowl, and chawanmushi. The chawanmushi had a rich dashi flavor with ginkgo nuts in it. I judge a restaurant to be trustworthy if their chawanmushi is delicious without cutting corners. Why not enjoy an exciting and cute lunch at a beautiful counter? ☆ Tabelog rating: 3.21 Opening hours: 11:15-14:00 Closed on Sundays and public holidays Payment: Cards, PayPay accepted #TsukijiLunch #TsukijiSushi #SushiTake #TsukijiSushiTake #SushiLunch #HigashiGinzaLunch #SushiInstagram

On Sundays, many shops in Tsukiji are closed, including Sushi Take which was fully booked. Luckily, we were able to get a seat after waiting a bit and entered at 1:40 PM. We ordered the chef's special selection and added a dish of firefly squid with vinegar miso. We sat at the counter towards the back where the head chef was, and he made us feel comfortable without any awkward tension. It was a delicious and enjoyable sushi restaurant experience.

Today, I had lunch at a sushi restaurant in Tsukiji. It was my first time visiting this place and it was quite crowded. Luckily, I was able to get a seat when they were changing customers. I was indecisive about what to order, but ended up choosing the mini bara chirashi and half sushi set for lunch. This set was a great deal as it came with a chawanmushi (steamed egg custard). The bara chirashi, with its seasoned rice topped with various seafood, was particularly delicious and paired well with the sushi. It was a delightful meal.

The temperature is below freezing and it feels like we're going to freeze. Where can you feel the spring vibes even just in your heart? Look no further than Sushi Take! Try the daily lunch special, which is not listed on the menu, so just ask for the daily special when ordering. Check this out ✨ You can enjoy a spring feast with a combination of nigiri sushi and seafood bowl. The salad with flying fish roe, seaweed miso soup, and chawanmushi are top-notch. The authentic dish includes ginkgo nuts, shrimp, and more. The sushi pieces are large, and today's special even includes salmon roe, all for just 1300 yen. Indulge in this luxurious meal to warm your heart.

The sushi restaurant "Take Wakabekan" in Tsukiji has been renamed and relocated here. I visited during lunchtime at 12 o'clock and the restaurant was crowded. The "Kaede" that I used to eat frequently now comes with chawanmushi and seems to have increased in price. Overall, prices seem to have gone up, but it's understandable. I ordered the Chef's choice lunch sushi set for 1800 yen. The sushi was served quickly, within 5 minutes. All the sushi was consistently delicious. The rice was also tasty. The ikura gunkan was neatly rolled and easy to eat. The negitoro roll was a nice change from the usual tekka maki. The miso soup with crab was delicious as always. While the cost-performance ratio may have weakened, I still think it's a delicious sushi lunch option.

I entered the restaurant almost immediately after it opened at 11:15 am and sat at the counter seat. I ordered the lunch set for 1,200 yen, which included 8 pieces of sushi and a roll. I had been looking forward to the reopening of Takawaka Bekkan, as it is a place I often pass by, but I missed the timing, so this was my first visit. The meal started with amberjack, followed by tuna, salmon, sardine, squid, shrimp, and ikura sushi, as well as squid legs and egg omelet sushi, with the option for a refillable crab miso soup. The restaurant was clean, the service was attentive, and it was a pleasant lunch experience. Thank you for the meal.

This shop used to be called Tsukiji Takawaka Bekkan, but it seems to have moved nearby and changed its name. The interior, which is predominantly white, gives a brighter impression than before. They had a good value lunch sushi set for 1,200 yen tax included, but I decided to try the seasonal sushi set for 3,500 yen tax included, which was written in front of the shop. I also added a mini chawanmushi for 450 yen tax included. The set included 10 pieces of sushi, a roll, egg, miso soup, horse mackerel, lean tuna, white squid (salted), seared blackthroat seaperch, live scallop, medium fatty tuna, white shrimp (forgot to take a photo), raw baby sardines, sea urchin, conger eel, roll (fatty tuna and seared bonito), and egg. The seared blackthroat seaperch was delicious with its rich flavor. The chawanmushi seemed to be premade with little ingredients, which was disappointing (but maybe it's understandable for a lunch set). Something felt different from before, it's hard to put into words... The overall atmosphere, including the service, felt distant and I couldn't relax. There weren't many other customers, but it was difficult to talk to the sushi chef. I used to like the previous cozy atmosphere. Perhaps the change in management has led to a shift in the shop's direction. Thank you for the meal.

One of my favorite sushi restaurants. They are very good at recommending Japanese sake and the bright atmosphere is perfect for a date. You can enjoy a variety of dishes besides sushi. The reviews seem to be divided, but I personally like it. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of the Japanese sake I had, haha.

This is my first visit after the relocation. Sushi take salad half for 450 yen, grilled shiitake mushrooms for 650 yen, and seasonal nigiri for 3500 yen. The restaurant name has changed, but the menu is almost the same. I was happy to see the grilled shiitake mushrooms available. The seasonal nigiri includes lean tuna, kawahagi liver topping, horse mackerel, squid, medium fatty tuna, botan shrimp, ark shell, salmon roe, sea urchin, conger eel, tekka maki, and torotaku maki half, as well as tamagoyaki. Each piece is seasoned with salt, simmered, or ponzu sauce. Everything was delicious, especially the kawahagi, medium fatty tuna, botan shrimp, and conger eel. The restaurant interior is clean and has a high-end sushi restaurant atmosphere. I dined at the counter, and the sushi chef's service was excellent. I plan to visit again.

I visited Takewaka Sushi, also known as Sushi Takesan, which my friend frequents often. This was my fifth visit (I think?) and once again I enjoyed the carefully crafted Edomae sushi. The freshness of the fish is unique to Tsukiji, and the enjoyment of each piece tailored to perfection is what makes Edomae sushi so special. The balance between the rice and the toppings is excellent, especially when paired with a drink. The other dishes are also delicious, with the garlic butter grilled clams being a must-order item as a break from the sushi. Watching the sushi chef at work is entertaining, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. It's a great atmosphere and a place I would love to visit again and again! Located in front of Tsukiji Honganji Temple, the location itself feels like it brings good luck. I will definitely be back soon! ✨

2022/4 revisited ☆ Sushi Take-san, which has been relocated and renovated. It faces a back alley, but it's always crowded during lunchtime. This area has always been a hotspot for delicious restaurants. Even the recently relocated Pyramid Curry in Hatchobori was nearby. It's less crowded than Tsukiji Outer Market, making it convenient for when you're in the mood for fish. The thickly sliced, slightly fatty tuna was delicious. The rice was warm and plentiful. Thank you for the meal~ Solo dining rating: ★★★ Lostness level: ★★

This is my first visit to "Tsukiji Sushi Take," which has been renovated slightly from the original Sushi Takewaka Annex. I happened to come across it and decided to go in. The interior of the restaurant is similar to before, but it feels very clean and welcoming. I sat at the counter, started with a bottle of Premium Malt beer, and ordered the chef's choice sashimi. They serve each dish one by one, allowing you to eat at your own pace, which is great for someone who enjoys drinking. The ark shell, squid, whelk, firefly squid, sardine, tuna akami, tuna chu-toro, small skin with shiso roll, and ankimo were all fresh and delicious. We also received a complimentary octopus stew. To finish, we had Tekka Maki and grilled squid. It was so delicious that I ended up drinking a bit too much. The staff were all very polite and attentive, which was also a big plus. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely visit again.

"Tsukiji Sushi Take" has been relocated from the front of Tsukiji Honganji Temple to a back alley. Formerly known as "Edomae Sushi Takewaka Annex," the restaurant has reopened today with a new location and new look. It is located about a 2-minute walk from Tsukiji Station on the Hibiya Line, on a small alley in front of Tsukiji Honganji Temple. The restaurant is part of the In-Blue Group, which also operates "Wami" and "Toritake" on the same street. The interior of the newly renovated restaurant features a bright wooden decor with plenty of downlights, creating a clean and bright atmosphere. There is a spacious counter with three sushi chefs and a few table seats by the window. The lunch menu includes a variety of sushi sets ranging from 1200 yen to 4000 yen, as well as rice bowl sets. I tried the "Seasonal Nigiri Set" for 3500 yen, which included a selection of 12 pieces of sushi. The sushi was made with standard white rice and had a soft acidity that enhanced the flavors. The portions were compact but satisfying, with the medium fatty tuna and red tuna having a good texture. The fresh taste of horse mackerel and the lightly seared needlefish were also highlights. Overall, the sushi was delicious and offered good value for the price. The speed of service was slightly fast, and the chefs and staff maintained a high level of quality and professionalism. Despite its hidden location, "Tsukiji Sushi Take" is likely to gain popularity among regular customers for its tasty and affordable sushi."
