I made a reservation for my birthday and visited a restaurant that I had saved somewhere. I think I saw it on TV. The cost performance was good! I made a dinner reservation and left the course selection to the chef. Even though it was time for our reservation, we had to wait for about 10 dishes before being seated. The reason was that there were inbound customers waiting for a taxi inside the restaurant. At that moment, I thought, "Hmm?" The restaurant has a small counter and private rooms. It seems that reservations are not all at the same time, but rather staggered. Also, it seemed that they did not manage the exit times properly, as the customers who entered before us and us left at around the same time. Perhaps because of this, there was a man at the counter who was talking very loudly, completely ignoring the sushi in front of him. This was not good. Furthermore, he even answered a phone call at the counter, which is unacceptable at this price range. However, I realized that the restaurant's lack of enforcement was the root cause of these issues. I believe it would be better for us customers and other patrons if the restaurant and the chef were to communicate clearly about reservation times, etiquette inside the restaurant, and so on. Moving on to the course itself, it started with small dishes before moving on to sushi. The dishes included: - White fish appetizer - Assorted sashimi (amberjack, red sea bream, seared sea eel, marinated mackerel) - Grilled Spanish mackerel - Steamed clam - Simmered baby octopus - Boiled whelk - Fried cherry shrimp - Nigiri sushi (tuna, medium fatty tuna, hirame, squid, scallop, ark shell, salmon roe, shrimp, conger eel, tamago) - Shrimp broth Overall, it was a well-balanced sushi course that showcased various cooking techniques. I think the chef could show a bit more of his personality. (laughs) Thank you for the meal.
