I received this as a gift. As a sandwich lover, I was very happy! The pie was crispy and the cream tasted delicious. It's even better when chilled. The packaging is cute, so I think it would be a great gift that would be appreciated. :)

This is a souvenir from my husband. He happily bought it, saying he found a souvenir that can only be found here. It's a cute box of café latte. The mille-feuille is a crispy pastry sandwiched with cream, giving a mysterious feeling as if you are eating pastry and drinking café latte at the same time. The cream makes you feel like you are drinking café latte, with just the right balance of sweetness and coffee flavor. The financier has chocolate chips in it, with a coffee latte flavor. My son pointed out that it's different from regular chocolate financiers, with a sophisticated taste that leaves a coffee aftertaste. I was delighted that he bought a snack I had never tried before after waiting in line for over 5 minutes.

Duck wafers with chunks of lemon peel inside. The texture might be better without them. The cream is high quality, but at 500 yen each, it seems a bit overpriced. The lemon peel doesn't seem to go well with the latte. I wish they would balance the taste, texture, and price better. Personally, I might prefer regular duck wafers.

I recently had the opportunity to try some high-quality food again, which I probably wouldn't be able to purchase on my own. It really brightened up my day (both in terms of the experience and the cost). I received a stylish snack from a popular Tokyo shop that always has long lines. It's not something I would typically come across, but the individually wrapped packaging makes it easy to store and enjoy. The crispy pie texture, the slightly bitter cacao nibs, and the rich sweetness of caramel, along with the generous amount of café latte cream, all come together for a unique and enjoyable taste experience. I appreciate the thoughtfulness put into this treat. Thank you for always being so thoughtful.

FiOLATTE's "Dacquoise Sandwich" is a luxurious treat with buttercream flavored like a café latte sandwiched between dacquoise layers! The buttercream has a delicious blend of rum-soaked raisins and cinnamon, paired with the perfect dacquoise crust. It is one of the best pastries I have had recently. Although it is a bit pricey, the taste definitely matches the cost. If you love café lattes, this is a must-try! Don't miss out on the exquisite café latte-flavored buttercream. #ShinagawaGourmet #ShinagawaEats #WesternSweetsSpot #fiolatte #51Eats #March2nd

This is a shop for Western-style sweets located in Shinagawa Station. You can only buy their products inside the JR Shinagawa Station ticket gates, and during my visit, there was a long line as it was the time for baked cakes to be sold. They offer various baked goods, but the most popular ones seem to be the baked cakes that I bought this time and the Dugwas that I couldn't get this time. They are only sold twice a day with staggered times, so I looked forward to trying them when I got home. The baked cake I bought had a white chocolate coating with lemon on the outside, resembling seagull eggs. Inside, there was dough mixed with coffee cream, baked to a firm texture. It was sweet but not overpowering, and I think it would taste great with coffee. However, the lemon white chocolate coating on the outside may be a matter of personal preference. It's a sophisticated treat that would be appreciated as a gift. But if I had to line up to buy and eat it, personally, I would choose something else. Dugwas seems to be even more of a rare item, so if I have the chance, I'd like to try buying it.

In December 2021, a sweets shop themed around latte art opened at Ecute Shinagawa inside Shinagawa Station. It is operated by Sucré, which also runs multiple brands including Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory. The shop sells Western-style sweets inspired by latte art, delivering the beauty of latte art to your eyes and heart through their treats. As a gift, we received a box of 5 financiers for ¥972 and a box of 4 baked cakes for ¥1296. The signature item is the Duck Warz Sandwich, but due to its short shelf life and refrigeration requirement, we opted for these items. The financiers are square-shaped with a rich brown color, combining the richness of chocolate and the elegant aroma of a café latte. They are moist and full of buttery flavor, with a distinct coffee and milk taste and aroma that truly resembles a café latte. The refined sweetness balances the slight bitterness of coffee, and the crunchy chocolate chips add a nice touch. Although the color and shape may not be typical for financiers, the taste and texture were delightful. The baked cakes are shaped like lemons, with a café latte-flavored batter coated in white chocolate with a hint of lemon. The batter also carries the coffee and milk flavors, creating a café latte experience. The white chocolate coating with lemon flavor is refreshing, but the chocolate chips here were moist and blended in with the batter. Both treats were full of café latte essence and were delicious financiers and baked cakes.

I happened to see a line at a station I passed by and decided to buy it. They were selling it at 8 am and 5:30 pm, and it cost 1630 yen for 3 pieces. It had a shelf life until the next day. It was fermented buttercream with rum raisins, which is not my favorite genre, but it seems like it would go well with coffee.

I bought cookies as a souvenir for my workplace. They are cafe latte flavored cookies with a crunchy and crumbly texture. The hazelnut aroma and a hint of sweetness from the sugar coating make them delightful. I will choose the packaging and quantity for the souvenirs here.

I received it from a friend while out, and it was well packaged with a cool pack inside. I brought it back to my workplace and shared it with a friend. We looked it up on Tabelog before eating it since we didn't know what it was. It was rich, sweet, and delicious. I don't know the price, so it's just an estimate.

I found something interesting at the Ecute for transferring trains. I got it as a souvenir ★ It was the last day of summer vacation, and I was busy from early in the morning on a weekday. It's a light snack with a coffee cream that is gently sandwiched and not too sweet or bitter. I'm happy that it's individually packaged (*´▽`*) By the way, it was still in draft. There are various limited edition snacks available at the ticket gate, which are convenient for souvenirs or treats for yourself! I think it's good even for people who don't like coffee too much. As it gets hotter, it's essential to carry around individually packaged snacks at room temperature!

I was really curious about the limited-time Duck Wafers being sold, and my husband bought them as a souvenir for me. The latte flavor is incredibly delicious, with cream sandwiched between the wafers. They are best enjoyed slightly moistened at room temperature rather than straight out of the fridge.

You can buy pastries that allow you to enjoy the aroma of cafe latte. The Duck Wafers Sandwich is delicious with its rich cream and cinnamon scent. It looks very thick, which is surprising, but it has a stylish and slightly luxurious feel. The Financier has a good flavor and bitterness that goes well with the rich taste of coffee. It also contains coffee chips inside, which adds a nice accent when you bite into it. On the day I visited, the Duck Wafers Sandwich was sold at 8:00 and 17:30. I lined up before 6:00 pm and was able to buy it, but by 6:10 pm, it was sold out. Please be aware of the selling times when purchasing.

I thought there was a long line at Ekimise Shinagawa, but it turned out to be for the "Dougworth Sandwich" featured on TV. The sales time seemed to be limited, and the staff were working hard to attract customers. I was undecided on what Tokyo souvenir to get, so I considered getting this, but when I lined up, the staff explained that it could only be kept with a cooling pack for about an hour and a half, so I gave up. Many people around me also gave up after hearing this explanation. So, I ended up buying some financiers that can last longer. The moist cake with chocolate chips was delicious and had a sophisticated flavor. Thank you for the meal.

"Dark Wars Sandwich for 1620 yen. Each one costs 540 yen. It's smaller than usual for Dark Wars, about the size of a macaron. It's thickly filled with coffee-flavored rum raisin butter. Quite sweet, but delicious. It's recommended to eat it after about 30 minutes of thawing from frozen."

On my way back, I purchased the "Duck Wafers Sandwich 3 pieces" from Fiolarate at Ecute Shinagawa. They are usually sold out in the morning, but this time there were 25 left before 11 am. I decided to try it out as there was no line, and they were calling out "We still have some!" (but as soon as I bought them, three people lined up behind me). They need to be consumed within 2 hours of purchase and can be refrigerated until the next day. It is recommended to chill them at home before eating. Since there were 3 pieces, I indulged in one as a snack right away (lol). The remaining two will be shared with my husband tonight when he returns from his business trip. The cinnamon aroma is quite noticeable. The outer layer is crispy and soft, while the thick layer of butter cream inside is very rich. The butter cream is delicious, but I always feel a sense of guilt when eating it (lol). I felt that the latte flavor was the most prominent as I ate. There are various sweets with a latte flavor in their name being sold. The financiers also looked delicious. Thank you for the meal. #ShinagawaGourmet #ShinagawaSweets #EcuteShinagawa #EcuteSweets #ShinagawaStationInside #Fiolarate #DuckWafersSandwich #CafeLatteButterCream #FermentedButterCream #ShinagawaLimitedQuantitySale

I was drawn to a shop called EKIMISE SHINAGAWA, which claimed to be the world's first store. The paper bags and packaging were stylish. I bought a pack of 4 individually wrapped Mille-feuille for 1,080 yen. It had a caramel latte cream between crispy layers of pastry. It seems like a nice souvenir. The most popular item, Duck Wafers Sandwich, was 1,620 yen for a pack of 3. It had plenty of cafe latte butter cream and rum raisins sandwiched between duck wafers. It needs to be refrigerated, but they offer an additional ice pack for 10 yen each. My family really enjoyed them.

A shop located inside Ecute Shinagawa at Shinagawa Station. This new brand opened in December as part of the area's renewal. Whenever I visit around 7 pm, I often find it sold out or with long lines. I finally had the chance to try it out when I felt like having something sweet. The concept of this brand is latte art, aiming to deliver beauty and deliciousness with each sip. Their most popular item seems to be the Duck Wafers Sandwich for 1,620 yen (tax included). Even though I only wanted one, they only sold them in packs of three, so I had to get that. Payment can be made with credit cards or transportation IC cards, which is convenient. The staff are experienced and efficient. The sandwich consists of crispy duck wafers filled with cafe latte-flavored fermented buttercream with rum raisins and a hint of cinnamon. It's a rich and luxurious treat that promises to uplift your spirits. They provide cooling and cushioning materials for takeaway, ensuring good preservation. The plate it comes in is quite sturdy, which is good for preventing it from falling apart, but may be a bit excessive for food presentation. Despite being quite creamy, it's surprisingly light and delicious. However, at 500 yen each, it's a bit on the expensive side for me. Still, it's worth trying at least once. Thank you for the meal!

- A sweets shop located inside Shinagawa Station
- No lines around 7pm on weekends and holidays
- On the Friday night before White Day, there was a significantly longer line compared to other surrounding shops
- The Duck Waffle Sandwich is restocked daily around 9am and 5:30pm
- Various payment methods including transportation IC cards are accepted
- Duck Waffle Sandwich (3 pieces) for 1,620 yen: The most popular item with a shelf life until the next day. It consists of a cafe latte-flavored fermented buttercream with rum raisins sandwiched between cinnamon-scented duck waffles. The crispy waffles and sticky buttercream textures are enjoyable, with the buttercream being mildly sweet and rich without being overpowering.

I had no intention of buying anything today, but I heard a voice saying that the new stock had just arrived, and I ended up lining up to buy a Duck Waffle Sandwich. I hadn't done any research on it, but I bought it anyway. It turned out to be a new brand that specializes in sweets inspired by latte art, and it opened at Ecute Shinagawa on December 1, 2021. The Duck Waffle Sandwich comes in a pack of 3 for ¥1,620 (tax included). It consists of a crispy duck waffle filled with a café latte-flavored fermented buttercream with rum raisins, subtly scented with cinnamon. The sandwiches are sold frozen, and it is recommended to thaw them for about 1.5 hours before eating. Despite its volume, the sandwich was surprisingly easy to finish as the cream was light. The cinnamon scent in the duck waffle was barely noticeable. Overall, it was a limited edition-like purchase, and while it may not be something I would buy for myself again due to the short shelf life and lack of individual packaging, it could make a good gift for a friend who enjoys duck waffles.
