I went to the Isetan department store event on a Sunday afternoon and afterwards, feeling hungry, stumbled upon this place. Among many bars in the area, this one stood out with its bright lighting and clear menu displayed outside. Inside, there were regulars at one end of the counter, a couple who seemed like tourists at the other end, and two chefs behind the counter. One of them was working on preparing tuna belly. I ordered Kohada and tuna belly rolls first because they looked delicious. The interior of the restaurant seemed clean after a renovation a few years ago, but also had a slightly cluttered feel. There were regulars at the counter drinking since noon, engaging in lively conversations with the chefs, who handled it with grace, a unique aspect of this sushi restaurant. Located near Shinjuku Sanchome, close to Isetan, this place looks nice but has the atmosphere of a local sushi joint. The sushi rice was slightly soft with a firm core, maintaining a good balance. The order included Kohada, 4 pieces of Tai, Kampachi, Akami, scallop, mackerel, 2 pieces of tuna belly rolls, herring, and cucumber, along with a jug of green tea (extra charge), all for ¥3,750, which I found to be reasonable.
