JR Akihabara Station is just a 1-minute walk away. I visited a bakery located a short distance from the ticket gate for the first time. Since the store closes at 9:00 PM, I haven't been able to visit often. On this day, I purchased the Chocolate Bread for chocolate lovers for 270 yen. It was delicious, thanks to the overwhelming power of chocolate.

Steamed chicken and jellyfish salad, corn-filled sandwich. It's sad to say goodbye to a delicious restaurant in Akihabara. I bought a salad and sandwich for dinner tonight. The sandwich was filled with lots of seasonal corn, but it got a little squished on the way. It was a croquette and salad sandwich. Both the croquette and salad had plenty of corn and were delicious! I am completely satisfied! Thank you for the meal!

I wanted something sweet on my way home from work, but they were sold out, so I bought a melon bread instead. The sugar was evenly spread on the crispy melon-flavored bread, with a fluffy interior. This melon bread is the best for me. Today, I found a rare Siberian dessert! It was a sweet castella cake with a filling that seemed like yokan. It was perfect for a snack, and I enjoyed it chilled after taking a bath. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

France BOX - Teriyaki Egg and Shrimp, Setouchi Lemon Cream Roll
On the way back, I was drawn in by the Teriyaki Egg and Shrimp, Setouchi Lemon Cream Roll at France BOX. The path leading to the subway station here has a wide space next to the shop, which is sometimes turned into a shop for events or used for promoting products sold at Yodobashi. There were large figures of Pokemon, Marvel characters, dinosaurs roaring, and characters from The Legend of Zelda (as of June 2023).
I have a favorite selection of bread like Melon Pan, Sugar Toast, and Cream Pan, which always tempt me into impulse buying. Today, I bought a France BOX which contains three mini-sized breads and the new product of the month, Lemon Cream Roll. The luxurious lineup made me feel happy as I enjoyed the various fillings in each small bread. It even included a Chocolate Croissant for dessert.
Once again, my stomach is satisfied and I end the day feeling happy. Thank you for the delicious meal!

There is a bakery on the 1st floor plaza of Yodobashi Camera. I think their apple pie is incredibly delicious. The outside is crispy, and the sweetness of the apple is just right. I also bought their latest melon bread. It was delicious too, with plenty of melon cream inside.

There is a shop called Vi de France in a mall near Yodobashi where you can buy delicious food. I like it a lot, so I didn't take any photos, but I buy from there once a week. It's really delicious! Today, I had a satisfying sugar toast and a seasonal limited edition honey milk. The honey milk has milk cream with honey in it, and it's so tasty! I've lost count of how many times I've repurchased it, but it was delicious again today! Thank you for the meal!

I used it for dinner on October 30th. The world is Halloween. I went to "VIE DE FRANCE" to buy bread for breakfast tomorrow and bought Halloween-themed bread. I bought the Halloween limited edition "Scary Pan" (290 yen) and the Shrimp & Avocado Dog (320 yen). The Scary Pan had a rich chocolate cream, and the Shrimp & Avocado had a very good combination and was delicious. I hope this information is helpful.

The next morning, I bought breakfast. I noticed that there are quite a few expensive bakeries these days. The good thing is that they have delicious items available until late. It's a bit disappointing that they don't have an eat-in option here. Thank you for the meal.

Danish pastry filled with rum and sugar butter. Hmm, I didn't really feel the rum flavor that much. It's a sweet Danish with a strong sugar butter taste. The dough is moist. It's surprisingly light, and if it had custard cream inside, it would have been even more satisfying!

Vid France in Akihabara. The shop right outside the Electric Town exit is spacious and relaxing, so I often go there, but this time I went to the shop near the Showa Street exit. It's a small shop mainly for takeout, but they have two seats inside for eating in, so I ate there. I had the crispy cheese curry bread and a panini, with an iced coffee. Everything was reliably delicious, without any standout characteristics, making it appealing to everyone. It's a small shop, but they bake everything in-store, so you can enjoy freshly baked items when eating in. There are only a few seats inside, but they have more seating outside on a terrace-like area, so if you're not bothered by the outdoors, you might want to eat there. It's one of the chain stores I regularly visit.

Before transferring at Akihabara, I had lunch. I was short on time so I settled for bread. I saw there was a place to eat in, so I went in, but only 2 seats!? They really made use of the small space inside. I'm grateful that I could eat inside. I quickly ate a curry bun, egg sandwich, and iced café au lait before transferring to the JR line. Thanks to that, I made it in time for the Shinkansen. lol

【Location】There are shops outside Yodobashi Akiba in Akihabara.
【Store, Interior】Upon entering the store, trays and tongs are available for customers to pick their favorite bread.
【Food】Bakeries that stay open late are rare. Even those inside commercial facilities usually close by 9 pm. Local bakeries often close by 8 pm. This particular store stays open until 10 pm, which is very convenient for those craving bread late at night. Although convenience store bread has improved, bread from bakeries is still more delicious.
【Drinks】There were a few drinks available inside the store.
【Service】There were 3 staff members working. As soon as you enter, there is hand sanitizer available on the left side, with a request to sanitize your hands. Let's hope for a quick end to the COVID-19 pandemic. I hope this review can be helpful for your restaurant choices.

Sasshi praised the honey butter bread on Twitter. Some shops displayed their tweets, some mentioned that it was recommended by Rino Sashihara, and some didn't have anything. This one was a hit, so I bought one for 100 yen. I enjoyed it at an outdoor table with a café-like atmosphere. The inside was hollow, so it didn't fill me up as much as it looks, which was perfect before breakfast.

Still indecisive and weak-willed, I wandered around Akihabara in search of lunch. Unable to decide where to eat, I stumbled upon this shop. I decided to take out some bread and have lunch while enjoying the view of the Kanda River. So, I went in. Armed with a tray and tongs, I gathered Honey Butter Bread, Smoked Cheese Bread, Hokkaido Milk Custard Danish, and Croque Monsieur (Tuna Tomato & Cheese). Maybe a bit too much cheese, but oh well. Thank you for having me.

I went on my usual bakery tour - is that considered a bread activity? Haha. There was a VIE DE FRANCE near Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara. They had a wide variety of bread, and I've been a fan of VIE DE FRANCE since high school, so I really like it. I bought a tuna croque-monsieur and a curry bread. I shared them with my mom. Both breads were really delicious when warmed up in the toaster! The tuna and cheese were so melty and tasty! It's a convenient bakery being right by the station. The staff were also nice, and the guy serving had a bit of an Akihabara style (lol).

Visited this bakery located on the first floor of Yodobashi Akiba! It's in a busy area with lots of foot traffic, and it's a bakery chain affiliated with Yamazaki Baking, so it's a familiar sight. It's a self-service style bakery with a wide variety of delicious looking products. I purchased the Akihabara Frank (¥240), a store-exclusive item, and the tempting Melon Mask (¥200). The Akihabara Frank is a hot dog with a thick sausage and potatoes inside. The crispy texture of the sausage, soft bread, and wheat flavor complement each other perfectly, making it a favorite taste of mine. The Melon Mask is a melon bread with cream inside. The outer bread has a wonderful aroma, making it seem delicious even before taking a bite. The texture is soft, with the cream not overpowering the melon flavor, resulting in a tasty melon bread. The convenient location makes it easy to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

Marutomi Anpan ¥180 July 30, 2017
On a certain holiday in July, feeling a sense of obligation but also a bit happy to be away from my wife, I went out with my two sons. We visited Akihabara Yodobashi on this day. After finishing our business there, we decided to stop by Vidofrance for a snack. It's conveniently located in front of the entrance of Akihabara Yodobashi and in front of the JR ticket gates. Although there is no seating inside, there are simple tables and chairs outside where you can enjoy your purchase. We bought anpan for myself, as usual, and melon pan for my son. The default anpan costs ¥130, but this time we bought the "Marutomi Anpan" which has whipped cream inside, priced at ¥180. The size seemed to be around 90g, likely due to the whipped cream adding moisture. The appearance had a baked stamp with the character "富" surrounded by a circle. The dough was noticeably soft when I picked it up. When we split it in half, the dough crumbled slightly, revealing a filling of red bean paste and whipped cream in a 1:3 ratio. This anpan had more whipped cream than usual. The dough was soft and moist. Although this type of anpan is rare, it was exactly what I was hoping for. The texture of the whipped cream paired well with the dough. The cream seemed abundant, almost overshadowing the red bean paste, which might be ironic for red bean lovers. However, upon closer inspection, the red bean paste was subtly sweet and did not clash with the slightly greasy whipped cream. The slight graininess of the red bean was preserved, adding a light flavor to this Marutomi Anpan. The lightness of the dough may leave you slightly unsatisfied in terms of satisfaction, but it's suitable for a snack. Among whipped cream anpan I've tried, this Marutomi Anpan receives high praise.

A small luxury bread about the size of a quarter of a regular bread, priced at 160 yen. It seems to be made with honey and condensed milk, tasting similar to high-end bread commonly found in Tokyo. It's not something I would crave to eat again, but being small and affordable, it's convenient to enjoy.
