I have been to this restaurant during both daytime and nighttime. I really like Shibuya Seibu, so I often visit. They have a parking lot which is convenient. This restaurant is located in the basement of Building A. Even when I entered with a baby stroller, they greeted me warmly without any unpleasant looks, saying "Welcome." They even have chairs for children. Now, it's time to order. I ordered x4 plates of Xiao Long Bao, Chinese jellyfish, Bang Bang Ji, Shrimp with Mayonnaise, Fried Rice, and Stir-Fried Kusinsai, among other dishes. When I mentioned that I have children and cannot eat spicy food, they kindly offered to prepare the dishes without spice. Xiao Long Bao has instructions on how to eat it, so you can enjoy the soup as well. It's delicious. I recommend this place for "casual Chinese dining with family." Although Okura's Tohka Rin is also good, it can be a bit challenging when you have children and need to be considerate of other customers. In that aspect, this place is great! Chinese cuisine includes vegetables and offers a balanced meal. It's great!

I went to a restaurant located on the B2 floor of Seibu department store. I made a reservation and tried various dishes, all of which had a strong and delicious flavor! I went with a friend and we ended up eating before taking any photos, so the only picture we have is of sesame balls... Next time, I look forward to enjoying a variety of soup dumplings!

I have started dieting again. Just when I started my diet, my wife always invites me to delicious restaurants. So, I haven't made any progress at all, I have a foolish tongue. This time, my wife invited me because she had a strong desire to eat xiaolongbao. We went to Nanxiang Mantou in Roppongi Hills. I think Din Tai Fung is good for xiaolongbao, but this place was also good. The xiaolongbao here had a strong taste of pork and ginger. It was slightly drier compared to Roppongi. The pickled mustard greens here had a fresh green taste, different from the oily and crunchy ones. I ordered fried rice, which was surprisingly ordinary, according to my foolish tongue. If you go here, I recommend going in the evening. It gets quite crowded at night.

Around 2:00 PM, I entered the restaurant for a late lunch. There were customers inside, but I was able to be seated right away. I ordered the crab fried rice lunch set and seasonal xiaolongbao. After ordering, the soup, side dishes, and ginger for the xiaolongbao arrived promptly. As I was enjoying the soup, the fried rice was served quickly. The portion of the fried rice was just right and easy to eat. It had a nice texture with plenty of crab meat. The freshly made xiaolongbao arrived soon after. When you bite into the xiaolongbao, a lot of pork soup comes out. The flavor of the pork was quite strong. The seasonal xiaolongbao had garlic, bitter melon, and chives. The garlic flavor was strong and the bitter melon added a nice touch. The chives were more ordinary compared to the other two.

◼️Ebi Soba Set 1,530 yen This set includes a full-size portion of the noodles that usually come at the end of the course. You can choose between salt flavor and soy sauce flavor, and although both seem delicious, I ended up choosing the salt flavor as usual. The noodles are slightly thin with a good firmness. There are 5 decent-sized shrimp, along with bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, and chrysanthemum. The shrimp have a hint of garlic flavor. The salt flavor and umami of the soup are delicious and satisfying. There are 4 xiao long bao, providing a good amount of satisfaction. Tear them on top of the lotus leaf and slurp up the meat juice first before adding black vinegar. I recommend trying this before adding the vinegar. Next time, I might try the soy sauce flavor soup.

The soupless tantanmen tempers the rich tantanmen nicely. I thought the soupless tantanmen would be hot, but the noodles and toppings were cold. The noodles were already coated evenly with the sauce when served. It seemed simple, but it was delicious. When I looked at the menu, it said "toss with half-cooked egg," but I didn't see any. Looking at the photo, indeed it was missing. Another customer asked for the egg on a separate plate, so maybe there was a mistake? Lastly, when I declined the dessert that was recommended at the register due to lack of time, they offered a discount. They handle mistakes sincerely and are a trustworthy restaurant. If you ask, they also provide paper aprons. Next time, I might try the tantanmen with soup.

I visited South Beauty Baozi Shop in the basement of Seibu Shibuya for the first time in a while. They offer various lunch sets with xiaolongbao, which is convenient, and it might be a hidden gem despite being close to Shibuya Station. I had the xiaolongbao lunch set with shrimp chili. The xiaolongbao were served hot and there was a small amount of pickled ginger. The set comes with a choice of noodles, fried rice, side dishes, and white rice, and I chose this one because I was in the mood for shrimp chili. Soup and pickled vegetables are included in all sets. Oh, they don't serve tea anymore, just water. I think they used to serve tea before, but I guess they are short-staffed. It may not be as good as the Roppongi store, but it's a hidden gem, so you can get a table even during lunchtime on weekends if you wait a bit. Thank you for the meal.

Visited one of the world's top three xiaolongbao restaurants on a Saturday at 12:15. The seating rate was around 50%. I suddenly felt like eating xiaolongbao, so I decided to have lunch here. I was drawn to the large sign at the entrance and ordered the soup-less tantanmen and xiaolongbao set. The restaurant seemed to be really promoting this soup-less tantanmen and xiaolongbao set. I had high expectations. Soon, a seaweed and egg soup with finely chopped ginger arrived. The soup was delicious. After about 5 minutes, the xiaolongbao arrived. When the lid of the steamer was opened by the staff, steam rose up. I took a bite without dipping anything, and it was delicious, truly living up to the reputation of being one of the world's top three xiaolongbao. The skin was soft and thick, and the soup and filling were also delicious. I enjoyed it with finely chopped ginger and black vinegar. As I was enjoying the food, the soup-less tantanmen arrived. The noodles were medium-sized and curly, perfect for cold noodles. Despite being cold, it had a good level of spiciness. It was also delicious. The total bill was 1705 yen, and I was able to pay with a card. By the way, the other two restaurants in the world's top three xiaolongbao are Din Tai Fung and Joe's Shanghai New York. While you have to go to Ikebukuro or Ginza to eat at Joe's Shanghai New York, Din Tai Fung is located in Shibuya Scramble Square, so you can visit two out of the world's top three xiaolongbao restaurants just in Shibuya. Come to think of it, I visited the first Nanxiang Mantou store in Roppongi, I wonder if it's still there.

Walking all the way to Shibuya, I kept bookmarking interesting shops as I walked. There are so many delicious-looking restaurants out there. Right now, I'm in the mood for xiaolongbao. In Shibuya, Din Tai Fung at Scramble Square or Nanshou Mantou at Shibuya Seibu would be the classic choices. Since I don't go to Shibuya Seibu often, I decided to go to Nanshou Mantou. When I went to the 8th floor of Seibu, I couldn't find the restaurant, so I looked it up and found out it was in the casual restaurant area underground. The place was crowded even in the afternoon, but I didn't have to wait to be seated. Since it's a casual place, they served water instead of warm jasmine tea. Maybe I'm mixing up Din Tai Fung and Kyo-Tei-Ro in my memory. The xiaolongbao came with two plates of ginger as a default. I tried one without adding anything first. The skin was a bit thick. The balance between the meat filling and the soup was good. The seasoning was strong but not greasy, with delicious soup and a firm filling. The amount of soup was just right. It's not easy to find a restaurant with the highest level of meat juice bursting out. The spring roll was triangular in shape. I thought it would be hard to bite into, so I tried breaking it with chopsticks, but it just made a mess, so I ended up biting into it. It didn't have a strong crab flavor, making it easy to eat. But it was richer than a regular spring roll. I quite liked it. Most of the people there were tourists, so I felt like I was also on a trip. A convenient trip.

Nansho Manju Shop @ Shibuya Seibu is located inside Shibuya Seibu. I ordered the lunch set menu. I got the five-ingredient stir-fried noodles set and the shredded pork with green peppers set. I also wanted to try the dumplings. The stir-fried noodles with sauce was a bit different. The ingredients were all huge and funny. The shredded pork with green peppers was really delicious. The dumplings were thick and tasty. The staff was also polite. It was a good lunch time.

I preferred Din Tai Fung's xiaolongbao, but I chose the xiaolongbao set with tantanmen and lettuce fried rice, which was quite delicious and to my liking! I also ordered the oil-splashed chicken as a side dish, which was very satisfying in terms of portion size. The restaurant was in Shibuya, but it wasn't too crowded and had a nice atmosphere.

I think they are tastier than Din Tai Fung. There are instructions on how to eat them correctly at each table, so follow them to avoid any accidents. - Glutinous Rice Siu Mai x2: Exotic flavor with the scent of star anise. It was chewy and I quite liked it. - Braised Pork Belly: Tender and flavorful with just the right amount of fat. - Ebi Shrimp Soba (upgraded to regular size as a special treat): The broth had a salty flavor and the shrimp was plump and delicious. On a holiday night, I made a reservation and visited the restaurant with my family. The place is located in a casual dining area called "Setanju" on the 2nd basement floor of A building at Seibu Department Store Shibuya Store. It's not often that I dine out (especially for dinner) in Shibuya. On this special day, although there are some restaurants open, there aren't many places where you can have a leisurely meal. So, I made a reservation through the website. The restaurant was founded in 1900 in Shanghai Yuyuan and specializes in xiaolongbao and other Chinese dishes. They also have branches in major areas in Tokyo. It was my first time entering Seibu Department Store. I used the stairs from Inokashira Street to reach the restaurant. The building itself felt quite old. When I arrived at the restaurant, I informed them about my reservation at the entrance, and they gestured to follow them. The atmosphere was casual but not unpleasant. The staff seemed to be related to China, as Chinese was being spoken. We were seated at a table in the corner of the restaurant on the left side. The restaurant was lively with groups of people chatting loudly. We took our time to look through the menu. Finally, we managed to get the attention of a staff member to place our order: half decanter of Kaominsaku Shaoxing wine for 1,375 yen, ginger and turmeric soda for 715 yen, Pu'er tea (served in a pot for hot tea) for 715 yen, sticky rice shumai for 935 yen, steamed chicken with scallion sauce for 825 yen, Qingcai for 660 yen, boiled dumplings for 935 yen, lettuce with soy sauce dressing for 1,045 yen. The Pu'er tea came with three cups, so it seemed like it wasn't just one drink per person. The sticky rice shumai was exactly what it sounds like - sticky rice seasoned and wrapped in a skin. The dumplings had celery in the filling, giving them a unique and delicious flavor. For the next order, we got 6 pieces of xiaolongbao for 880 yen and Cloud White Meat for 1,705 yen. The xiaolongbao were excellent, with high-quality ingredients and no unnecessary seasoning in the filling. We enjoyed them with black vinegar soy sauce and shredded ginger. However, the Cloud White Meat was a bit disappointing. The sauce was mild and good, but the pork shoulder or loin was tough. Another disappointment was the glass of white wine for 605 yen at the end. It was served at room temperature, so we had to add ice to it. Overall, the dishes were subtly flavored, and the cooking technique was excellent. Not just the xiaolongbao, but all the Chinese dishes were delicious. The service was efficient, but don't expect anything extra. This is a casual dining floor, so maybe that's okay. For example, they only provided black vinegar soy sauce on the table. If you want mustard or soy sauce, you have to request it... Thank you for the meal.

The other day, I went to Midori Sushi in Meguro and it was really good. I wanted to go again, but then I heard that Rinrin couldn't resist and went to Midori Sushi in Kamata. I had plans to go to Shibuya Joint Government Building. I was thinking of having lunch at a nearby cafe, but then I felt like I had to compete and ended up going to Midori Sushi in Seibu. I thought maybe around 3 PM would be a good time, so I finished my errands first and headed there, but even at 3 PM, there was a long line. It's amazing, it's still popular. I didn't have the energy to join the end of the line, and also I had to stop by another place before heading back to the office, so I checked out the shops in Seibu and went to the basement. I initially wanted to go to a rice cafe, but they were already closed, so I went to this Chinese restaurant instead. Despite the late hour, the place was quite busy. It had a stylish and clean interior with a sophisticated bar-like atmosphere and offered reasonably priced hearty lunches. It was convenient that they were open until late. There were many menu options, but I chose the Nanxiang Dim Sum Set that caught my eye first. The price was displayed without tax, so I thought a noodle lunch around 1500 yen would be better than the dim sum variety for 1800 yen, but the actual bill was a little over 2000 yen. The set included fried spring rolls, 3 xiaolongbao, 2 shumai, vegetable bun, braised pork belly, shrimp soup noodles, and dessert. So much food! For dessert, you could choose between almond jelly and mango pudding. I asked the cute waitress which one she recommended, and she said, "Hmm, both are popular, but I personally like the mango pudding," so I went with the mango pudding. Now, the food started arriving. The spring rolls were hot and had a lot of oil residue. They were said to have crab miso inside, but it wasn't very noticeable. The xiaolongbao was average, but the sticky rice shumai was delicious. The vegetable bun was a bit bland, so it might be good to dip it in the sauce provided for the xiaolongbao on the table. The braised pork belly was flavorful and truly tasted like braised pork belly. It was very satisfying. On the other hand, the shrimp soup noodles didn't have much flavor. And the waitress-recommended mango pudding was... really delicious. It might have been the best part of today. Overall, while some flavors didn't quite hit the mark for me, the service and the atmosphere of the restaurant were really nice. There seemed to be hits and misses in terms of taste, so there might be some star dishes on the menu.

I visited the Nanxiang Mantou Dian at Seibu Shibuya store. I ordered the Nanxiang Dim Sum Set which included fried spring rolls, 3 xiaolongbao, 2 shumai, vegetable mantou, braised pork belly, shrimp soup soba, and dessert. For dessert, I chose mango pudding. The food kept coming one after another. The spring rolls were hot and quite oily. They were filled with crab miso but it was hard to taste. The xiaolongbao were average, but the shumai with sticky rice was delicious. The vegetable mantou was a bit bland, so it was better to dip it in the sauce provided on the table for the xiaolongbao. The braised pork belly was flavorful and satisfying. Overall, I was very satisfied with the meal.

It's okay to have a light lunch with noodles, but the accessibility is not great from anywhere. The steamed buns and soup dumplings are quite greasy, and the prices are not cheaper than other dim sum places. The atmosphere is not particularly nice either, so I'm not sure what would motivate me to come back.
