龍馬の子孫?
Visited around 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2022. The restaurant is located a 2-minute walk from JR Akabane Station on the bus street of Akabane Ichiban-gai. It is located in the redevelopment target area of Akabane Station East Exit, which corresponds to the second phase. It seems to be the site of the former FamilyMart convenience store. Construction started, and within a month, this new restaurant opened. The entrance has a cashier on the right side, with counter seats for 12 people in front of it, and table seats lined up at the back, but the exact number of seats is unknown. The data of the restaurant before my review showed 0 reviews and no rating. There were many customers already inside, with over 10 people waiting. The restaurant was operated by about 5 staff members, both male and female. There is a paper with the restaurant name in katakana, number of people, and preferred seating type at the front, and after filling it out, a female staff member asked a group of 3 men who were waiting if it was okay to seat a single person first before guiding me to a counter seat near the entrance. Under the chair, there is a basket for personal belongings, but my business bag did not fit, so a female staff member placed it next to the chair. Paper napkins and disposable chopsticks are provided on the table. Sushi is rotating on a lane in front, and orders can also be placed using a touch panel on the table. The price of dishes is determined by the color of the plate, such as 110 yen (excluding tax), 160 yen (excluding tax), 210 yen (excluding tax), and when ordering through the touch panel, the plate color seemed to be fixed as white. I ordered "Sake (cold) 528 yen (including tax)" and "Sashimi 3-piece assortment 528 yen (including tax)". The food was served quickly, and it was not stressful. The sake was a single serving of 180ml. The sashimi assortment included 2 pieces each of tuna, red snapper, and squid, with wakame seaweed under shiso leaves. I expected more from the sashimi assortment. It felt like the sashimi assortment at the yakitori restaurant in OK Yokocho for 600 yen (including tax) was more satisfying. I also tried the limited-time menu item "Tuna Otoro Nigiri 1 piece 286 yen (including tax)" available from September 20 to 22. I also ordered "Hamachi 231 yen (including tax)". The tuna otoro was too fatty for me, a middle-aged man over 55... I still prefer lean tuna. But once you put it in your mouth, it melts right away. It's probably a promotion that younger people would appreciate. I also had "Seared eel 374 yen (including tax)", "Salmon 176 yen (including tax)", "Red snapper 308 yen (including tax)", and "Mebachi maguro 176 yen (including tax)". All the fish slices were thick, more than double the thickness of "Kura Sushi" or "Hama Sushi". With this quality, I thought it could be classified as nigiri sushi rather than conveyor belt sushi. I was impressed and became a fan instantly. If the quality is at this level, I think it's acceptable as conveyor belt sushi. I ordered another serving of cold sake. I also received a voucher for one free plate of sushi at the time of payment. Looking at other customers, it seemed like everyone was paying over 3,000 yen per person. There was only one person in the 2,000 yen range. People who set a limit of 1,000 yen per person probably wouldn't visit, so I was able to enjoy a leisurely drink. I'm sure the nearby Kura Sushi was crowded with families, especially on weekends. The total bill for the day was 3,025 yen. Thank you for the meal.
