On the evenings of October 22, 2022, October 29, 2022, and the evening of January 1, 2023, visits were made to the restaurant. The previous visit was on April 5, 2017, making it a gap of five and a half years. Overall, this restaurant is part of a series that I first encountered about 23-24 years ago. It used to be the most popular revolving sushi restaurant in Ikebukuro. Back then, they had two locations in Ikebukuro, but now only one remains open. I have a long-standing relationship with this restaurant, and it holds a special place in my heart. It is my favorite revolving sushi restaurant in Ikebukuro, and it is a great place for both meals and drinks. The sushi is hand-crafted by skilled chefs, and the prices range from 130 yen to 260 yen per plate, with a wide variety of options available. The quality and variety of the 130 yen plates are excellent, making it a great choice for a satisfying meal. Some standout dishes include horse mackerel namero, salted squid, simmered fish head, and grilled green onion soup. The quality of the tuna can vary depending on the day.
Visit 1 (October 22, 2022):
- Ordered various 130 yen plates and chanko soup
- Total bill: 1,573 yen
- Standout dishes: fatty tuna, salted squid
Visit 2 (October 29, 2022):
- Ordered a lemon sour and various plates including salted squid and simmered fish
- Total bill: 1,674 yen
- Standout dishes: salted squid, simmered fish, and salted squid
Visit 3 (January 1, 2023):
- Ordered hot sake, chawanmushi, salted squid, and various 130 yen plates
- Total bill: 1,837 yen
- Standout dishes: fatty tuna, scallops, grilled green onion soup
Overall, the restaurant is conveniently located near Ikebukuro Station, with a conveyor belt carrying sushi around the chefs' station. The restaurant also has table seating available. The restroom is located to the left of the entrance and is unisex with modern amenities. The average rating is 3.29 based on 172 reviews, with 3.40 from 3 of my reviews.
