I visited around 11:30 on a regular day. The place was not too crowded, and I was seated at the counter. I ordered the oyakodon. The chicken was tender and easy to eat, and there was plenty of egg used, making it delicious. The yakitori don and soboro don also looked tasty, so I would like to try them next time.

Taste→☆☆☆☆ Atmosphere→☆☆☆☆ Cost performance→☆☆☆☆☆ I have been to this restaurant for lunch several times, but this was my first time going at night! I forgot to take a photo, but the Tokyo Jidori chicken negima was really delicious! The tsukune was also great. The finale, the soboro don, was fluffy and amazing! I plan to go back again!

A polite yakitori restaurant. Despite it being a Monday on a weekday, the place was packed! They had a variety of chicken skewers that were fresh and delicious. We finished off with the minced chicken bowl. The atmosphere was lively with groups of people chatting. It was a friendly place that accommodated our requests.

Aoyama Torimiya in Omotesando Exterior doesn't look like it's in Aoyama, with a greenery-filled, calming Japanese atmosphere. At night, it's an adult-oriented yakitori restaurant, and during the day, it's a popular spot for oyakodon. Tokyo Hinano's "Ultimate Oyakodon" Comes with chicken soup and pickles. If you come here, I recommend trying the oyakodon! You can choose between firm-textured fighting chicken or tender young chicken, and you can also add foie gras and liver. Other than oyakodon, they also have yakitori don, karaage, chicken nanban, and more, all perfect for chicken lovers. The chicken is carefully grilled over binchotan charcoal, and it's topped with a fluffy soft-boiled egg that's rich in flavor. You can customize it with various seasonings like salt, sansho pepper, and shichimi to your liking. At night, you can enjoy sake at this cozy izakaya with an adult atmosphere. The ambiance is like an old folk house, very calming. This is a secret date spot in Aoyama that I recommend for a leisurely evening. Shop Information: - Name: Aoyama Torimiya Honten - Address: 3-12-4 Minami Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo - Business Hours: Mon-Fri 11:30-16:00, 17:30-23:00; Sat-Sun-Holidays 11:30-16:00, 17:00-22:30 - Closed: None - Reservation: Available - Access: 4 minutes walk from Omotesando A4 exit - Payment: Credit card accepted - Seats: 56 seats (including private rooms)

I visited around 1pm on a weekday. The restaurant was full but I was able to get a table when some customers left. I had the Bantam Chicken and Sansho Pepper Bowl. The Sansho pepper flavor was strong, the bantam chicken had a crispy texture and was very delicious. The egg was also very creamy. I think it's a great place for a casual lunch.

My top recommendation for a lunch spot in Omotesando (from a male perspective)! I love fancy cafes and stylish one-plate lunches in the glamorous Omotesando area. It's so exciting. But sometimes, I crave a hearty meal. That's when I always come here. The oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) here is truly delicious! I haven't had anything better than this, seriously. It's even tastier with some liver on top. It's not as fancy as other places, more like a traditional Japanese restaurant. Eating oyakodon in this calm atmosphere is the best. By the way, the fried chicken is also delicious. It's good for drinks at night too, and reasonably priced. It's my top recommendation, so please try it out. Thank you for the meal! (人´▽`)

Around 5:30 pm, I was able to walk in without a reservation and be the first group to be seated. The taste of the yakitori was neither good nor bad... Personally, I prefer the meat to be a bit more tender. However, the oyakodon we ordered for the finale was delicious and satisfying. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit awkward as the staff were not wearing masks and were chatting among themselves. As a place where you can walk in without a reservation and spend less than 10,000 yen for two people near Aoyama and Omotesando, it's okay. But I may not choose to revisit intentionally.

It looked so delicious that I forgot to take a photo while watching the video, so here is a photo of my friend who went with me. I ordered the charcoal-grilled sansho pepper chicken and egg bowl!!! The photo is the version without sansho pepper! If you're not averse to sansho pepper, the version with it is definitely better!!! They brought it out in less than 10 minutes after ordering. The eggs were fresh and the charcoal-grilled chicken was delicious!!! There were also plenty of other menu options, so I want to go back again♡

Chicken and egg bowl for 1,500 yen, grilled chicken bowl with liver (large serving) for 1,800 yen. The chicken in the parent and child bowl is large and bite-sized, with 6 pieces. I am quite picky about my food, but I could taste the flavor of the mirin, soy sauce, and dashi in the parent and child bowl, which I liked. The grilled chicken bowl took some time to prepare after ordering, but it was delicious. It came with "soboro" (minced chicken) on top, which was a pleasant surprise. The liver was delicious, creamy, and without any unpleasant smell. The tsukune (chicken meatballs) had large leaves and cartilage, which was not my personal preference. I happened to stop by this restaurant by chance, but the food was very delicious. I am very satisfied and would like to come back at night next time. Thank you for the meal.

Two people entered the restaurant before 9:00 PM. They were politely asked if it was okay to have the last order at 9:30 PM, which was fine since they were planning on a light meal. They were seated at the end of the counter and enjoyed a toast with bottled beer before ordering some yakitori, which was tasty but a bit pricey at around 300-400 yen per skewer. They thought that if they were going to stay longer, opting for a course meal with all-you-can-drink option would be more cost-effective. They liked the atmosphere and would consider coming back when they have some extra cash to spare.

This restaurant serves delicious oyakodon that I have repeated many times. The Omotesando branch mainly has counter seats, with two table seats (for 2-4 people). The sweet oyakodon and salty soup go great together. It's nice that you can drink as much cold tea as you like. The lunch menu is also cost-effective. The hina oyakodon was around 1200 yen. Perfect for oyakodon lovers.

It had been about 3 years since I last visited Tori Mi Zaza for lunch at Kashiwa Takashimaya. I have been there a few times before and my favorite is the charcoal-grilled chicken minced meat bowl. Today, I had lunch for the first time at the Aoyama main store. I was seated at the counter and the restaurant had a nice traditional Japanese atmosphere with a hearth. As expected, the charcoal-grilled chicken minced meat bowl was delicious with minced chicken on top of which there were three pieces of grilled chicken and a soft-boiled egg. I was impressed by the unchanged deliciousness. I wanted to splurge and add chicken liver next time!

After finishing a job interview, I treated myself to a delicious oyakodon. It has been a year since I received the job offer. I often crave for this dish, which I can enjoy in a quiet atmosphere. The customers are also quiet, allowing me to savor the delicious oyakodon slowly.

Fashionable yakitori in Aoyama✨ The ultimate oyakodon (1,500 yen) made with Tokyo Jidori chicken (shamo) is a specialty and it is truly delicious✨ Oyakodon already has an egg on top, but adding another egg yolk on top is very trendy and delicious✨ You can also enjoy the same dish for lunch at the same price, so definitely try the voluminous oyakodon❕ Other recommended dishes include kashiwa (420 yen) and furisode (400 yen) made with Tokyo Jidori chicken, the famous tsukune (with egg yolk: 400 yen), a set of 6 charcoal-grilled chicken skewers (1,700 yen), simmered chicken giblets (650 yen), dashimaki tamago (700 yen), and chicken bakudan natto hand rolls (1,000 yen)✨ We ordered too much for two people, but everything was delicious. We sat at the counter, but there was a slight distance with the staff, making it a bit difficult to order drinks. The all-you-can-drink option is available, but it may not be suitable for drinking parties, so it's better to go and enjoy the food. For dessert, we had the homemade custard tart (510 yen) and the specialty egg ice cream (410 yen), both of which were delicious, but they melted as they were served while we were still eating, so it's better to order them after finishing your meal😄 Overall, all the dishes were delicious, so I definitely want to go for lunch as well✨ Opening hours: [Mon-Fri] 11:30-16:00 (L.O. 15:30), 17:30-23:00 (L.O. 22:00) [Sat-Sun-Holidays] 11:30-16:00 (L.O. 15:30), 17:00-22:30 (L.O. 21:30)

Ultimate Oyakodon (Chicken) 1500 Yen ---------------------------------------- At night, it looks like a yakitori place, but they serve lunch too. This "ultimate oyakodon" is not really trustworthy. The place is small with about 8 counter seats and 2 tables, with a possible upstairs area. The decor is like a rustic village house with dark lighting, and there are two staff members who seem like part-timers. The kitchen is not visible, so there might be another person working. Oh, as expected! The egg yolk is runny, how long has it been like this? Shouldn't it be half-cooked? The egg white is not fully cooked, and the sauce is too sweet. The chicken has a strong charcoal flavor, almost burnt. It's rare for a yakitori place to have such a strong burnt smell. Are they rubbing it with charcoal? The rice is just soaked in sauce and egg yolk, like eating a TKG. No special comments about the rice. The soup tastes good, but the ingredients are just egg white again. The half of the egg yolk on top is almost a waste, isn't it? The pickles look like a bonus. A bit surprising quality here. Did they really put effort into making this oyakodon? I want to try the oyakodon at Tsukiji for lunch! But if you think of this as just a TKG, it's acceptable! Let's eat with an open heart! Thank you for the meal.

I went for a quick lunch on a weekday and ordered the Sansho Chicken Donburi. The yolk was rich in color and the presentation was elegant. The taste was good, but I wanted more haha. However, this amount was just right for me. Somehow, I aim to satisfy my stomach at 70% full.

The entrance atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely and I had been curious about it for a while. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, it was the best. My favorite was the salt tsukune. It's close to the station, so it left a great impression as the best yakitori restaurant. I definitely want to go back again!

The counter seat yakitori was delicious! We had potato salad, liver skewers, chicken wings, tsukune, assorted yakitori (6 skewers), and 2 beers for a total of 6,720 yen. Even though we didn't eat that much, we're full! The smoke was thick and the smell stuck to our clothes.

Next to Omotesando and Shimizu-yu, there is a chicken cuisine restaurant. The dimly lit alley has faint white lanterns, lush greenery, and a design reminiscent of an old folk house. The grilled chicken is juicy and delicious, with a shiny, fatty, and succulent texture. There is a wide variety of vegetables, allowing you to fully enjoy the grilled chicken. They use Tokyo jidori chicken, which I always associated with Kyushu, but apparently, it is famous in Tokyo as well. According to the restaurant, it is juicy, flavorful, and has low fat content, leaving a refreshing taste without a greasy aftertaste. You can eat as many skewers as you want. In addition to grilled chicken, there is a rich selection of side dishes. One of the highlights was the Jidori Bakudan Natto Temaki for 1,000 yen. It consists of chicken tenderloin, natto, okra, nagaimo, myoga, and egg wrapped in seaweed. It is a delight for those who enjoy sticky textures. It is well-seasoned, and when wrapped in long and narrow seaweed, it is just right for a bite-sized treat. The fried chicken was also juicy and delicious, and there are other non-chicken menu items such as chanja and potato salad. The interior retains the atmosphere of an old folk house, with shiny black tables and floors that exude a deep sense of character. The tables are spacious, with a cover in the center that makes it look like a hearth? It has a slightly smoky smell, but rather than a typical yakitori restaurant, it has a slightly stylish old folk house-style chicken izakaya vibe. I arrived around 8 pm on a weekday after calling in advance. The sign at the storefront said "Close," so maybe they only accept reservations? It was about 80% full, so it might be a good idea to check before going. It's a casual izakaya that is perfect for going with friends or colleagues.

- Access: 4 minutes walk from Omotesando Station on the Tokyo Metro lines - Number of visits: First time - Purpose: Lunch with friends - Overview: A specialty chicken restaurant with locations in Tokyo, Chiba, and Kanagawa. The main store in Aoyama is located on a side street off Route 246. The restaurant is famous for its "ultimate oyakodon" which has been featured in various media such as TV and magazines. - Menu: The signature dish is the "ultimate oyakodon" made with a choice of Tokyo Shamo or Hinaidori chicken. I ordered the Tokyo Shamo oyakodon (1,500 yen) on this day. - Impression: I had seen the "ultimate oyakodon" in the media and was curious to try it. Despite being located in a quiet area off the main street, the restaurant was bustling with almost full seats during lunchtime, and I was lucky to get in without waiting. The oyakodon is a dish that reflects the restaurant's commitment, with the chicken cooked over high-quality Binchotan charcoal and simmered in a broth made from bonito and mackerel. The moment it enters your mouth, you can taste the charcoal aroma, the strong umami of the fighting chicken with each bite, and the well-balanced flavor created by the collaboration of umami and broth. The set also comes with a gentle chicken soup that pairs well with the oyakodon. I noticed that the oyakodon with liver was also popular among other customers. I would like to try that next time I visit. Thank you for the meal. - Score at the time of visit: 3.35
