There were many flowers at the entrance (^.^) I lined up a bit and when it was my turn, the staff told me that the 100-person special offer for a hamburger lunch for 500 yen had ended for the day. I was number 102, just missed it (^_^;) However, they were offering a lunch hamburger for 1,000 yen including tax, which is a discount of 380 yen for today. They will also offer the same special for 500 yen to the first 100 customers tomorrow (February 16th) and the day after (February 17th). Hurry up and don't miss out! I entered the restaurant and was seated at a table in the far right corner. The seating mainly consists of table seats, and there seemed to be around 30 seats. Water is self-service and located in the middle. The lunch menu includes two options: the Teppan Hamburg Lunch (1,000 yen including tax, normally 1,380 yen including tax) and the Teppan Hamburg Curry (1,400 yen including tax). You can add a lunch drink for an extra 250 yen and a lunch dessert for an extra 250 yen. There is also unlimited rice, miso soup, and additional options like a mini salad, mini curry, shrimp fry (1 piece), and sausages (3 pieces) for an additional 250 yen each. There is a Select 3 option where you can choose 3 items from the mini salad, mini curry, shrimp fry (1 piece), and sausages (3 pieces) for an extra 500 yen. Additionally, you can add grated yam and a hot spring egg for 100 yen each. I ordered the Teppan Hamburg Lunch (1,000 yen including tax, normally 1,380 yen including tax) and the Select 3 (500 yen) with mini curry, shrimp fry, and sausages. The sauce was provided immediately after ordering. I waited for about 10 minutes before my meal arrived. The Teppan Hamburg Lunch, mini curry, shrimp fry, and sausages were served. The staff asked if I wanted sauce on my food, and I said yes. The food looked delicious, but the sauce evaporated quickly due to the hot plate, and the bean sprouts were served in a separate dish. The taste was good, but I wished there was more sauce. Overall, the hamburger, curry, shrimp fry, and sausages were tasty. The rice was also good, and it was a delicious meal. If I have the chance, I will visit again.

I visited for lunch. The turnover rate was better than I expected, so it didn't feel like a leisurely lunch. The floor was slippery haha, and there were quite a few men dining alone. The hamburger was a bit undercooked inside, so having to cook it myself was a bit of a downside. It was juicy and delicious though. When the hamburger arrived, it splattered a lot of oil, so it could be painful if you're wearing short sleeves haha. The water system where you can mix your own was good. Next time, I think I'll be fine without any toppings. Without toppings, you can eat for 1000 yen, so it's cost-effective. I don't think toppings are necessary. If I were to repeat, I'd go without toppings and visit during my work lunch break. It didn't seem suitable for a leisurely lunch with others.

Due to limited lunch time, I did some research and headed straight to this restaurant that I found on the Hibiya Line. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of Akihabara UDX, called "Teppan Hamburg." Luckily, I was able to get a seat without waiting as I was dining alone. I had already decided on my order, so I was seated and placed my order right away. Teppan Hamburg Lunch Set ¥1000 Includes Teppan Hamburg, rice, miso soup, and namul Select 3 +¥500 Mini salad, onsen tamago (soft-boiled egg), iced coffee The Select 3 option allows you to add 3 toppings of your choice for an additional ¥500. You can also add options like mini curry, shrimp fry, or sausage. My order arrived in about 5 minutes, which was very convenient. The staff poured the sauce over the hamburger while explaining that it is an extremely rare hamburger. I dug in immediately. The hamburger was incredibly tender and rare, melting in my mouth. The pellet on the side was a nice touch, allowing you to cook the hamburger to your liking. This level of rareness was a first for me, and I enjoyed it a lot! A hamburger specialty shop located in the restaurant district of UDX. I noticed that they had curry for lunch, so I decided to try it out. They had Hamburg Curry as well as a lunch set where you could choose toppings, and I opted for the mini curry. They had a special deal called "Select 3" where you could choose 3 toppings for a set price. The regular hamburger lunch was 1000 yen, and each topping was 250 yen. Normally, choosing 3 toppings would cost 750 yen, but with the Select 3 deal, it was only 500 yen, making the total 1500 yen. I selected the mini curry, salad, and shrimp fry as toppings. The hamburger was made of 100% beef and cooked quite rare. You could adjust the cooking level using the included hot stone, but I prefer my meat to be more cooked, so I found it a bit too rare for my liking. The curry was typical of this type of restaurant, and while it was a bit lacking on its own, it paired well with the sauced hamburger.

On February 15, 2023, a teppanyaki hamburger and steak restaurant called "Teppan Hamburg" opened at Akihabara UDX. I ordered the lunch menu "Teppan Hamburg Lunch" which comes with rice, miso soup, and namul. Additionally, I ordered the "Special Select" option which includes a special beef stew and a choice of three toppings (mini curry, shrimp fry, wiener). The wagyu 100% minced meat was moist, tender, and smooth, perfectly complementing the soy sauce-based sauce. You can also adjust the cooking to your liking using pellets, and the wagyu-rich mini curry is a delightful addition. The beef stew with chunky meat pieces was incredibly delicious. I paired it with the shrimp fry and wiener toppings for a perfect white rice combination. Not only is the hamburger delicious, but the variety of toppings available is also a great feature. Hamburg Ranch + Select 3: Mini Curry, Unlimited Rice + Pork Miso Soup, Wiener 1,000 yen + 500 yen The hamburger was cooked medium rare, just the way I like it. I love rare meat, so it was incredibly delicious. The mini curry was more than I expected, and the unlimited rice and pork miso soup were tasty as well. The only downside was that the pork miso soup was too hot. Maybe they keep it that way so people don't eat too much of it since it's all-you-can-eat. Although the price is high, I would like to visit this restaurant again.

The service was very fast. The hamburger size is around 180g, so some people may find it a bit small. The meat is cold inside, so it is recommended to heat it up properly.

It came in a sizzling state, and I was told that it's the style to eat the almost rare hamburger while grilling it on a hot stone, so they poured a soy sauce-based sauce on it. When I cut it, it was indeed red, so I ate it while grilling it on the hot stone. It was quite delicious, but to be honest, I found it a bit troublesome to cut and grill it. However, when the hamburg steak arrived, they asked if I wanted sauce on it. When I poured the sauce on the hot teppan, oil splattered around the table as there were no oil splash guards provided. Also, the sauce evaporated quickly, so the flavor of the hamburg steak was not very noticeable. The lunch was priced at 1000 yen for the opening special, which was acceptable. But if the price returns to normal, it may be difficult to justify a repeat visit. I hope for improvements in the future.
