龍馬の子孫?
Visited on February 24, 2017 (Friday) around 12:35 PM. The restaurant is located about a 1-minute walk from Keikyu Main Line "Sengakuji" Station and Toei Subway Asakusa Line "Sengakuji" Station. It faces National Route 15 (Daiichi Keihin Road) and is located next to a gas station, so it is easy to find. When you exit the Sengakuji Station towards Shinagawa, you will see many izakayas, but if you exit towards Mita, there are very few dining options. The entrance has a register on the left, large table seats on the right, which are called counter seats. Towards the back on the right is the kitchen, and I could also see tatami seating towards the back on the left. Other than that, there were many table seats lined up. At the time of my review, the restaurant had 4 reviews with an average rating of "3.00." There were many customers already inside and more coming in. This restaurant is known for its tuna dishes and is operated by the long-standing yakiniku restaurant "Suehiro-kan." In addition to sashimi, they also serve yakitori, kamameshi, and other izakaya dishes. They offer lunch service as well because they want customers to come for drinks at night. Nearby, "Teraken Honke" does not offer lunch service because they have few customers who come for drinks at night even if they come for lunch. The lunch menu includes classic dishes like "Pork Cutlet Curry 800 yen (tax included)" and "Pork Belly Harami Yakiniku Set 800 yen (tax included)," as well as two daily lunch specials for 800 yen (tax included). I was seated at a large table next to a pillar and ordered the "Iberico Pork Fillet Cutlet Set 800 yen (tax included)." The restaurant was completely non-smoking during lunchtime. There were teacups and tea on the table, and the tea was self-service. You could choose between hot tea in a pot and cold tea in a thermos, and you could even have both. This was a nice service. Furikake was also provided, which was a nice touch. The food was served in 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Considering the serving time, it was clear that the cutlets were pre-fried. The pork fillet cutlets were served in four pieces, each larger than a bite size, with a satisfying portion. They were accompanied by shredded cabbage, mustard, and lemon wedges. The set also included rice, miso soup, and pickles. The miso soup, served with a lid, was not as rich as expected, with just wakame seaweed and chopped green onions. It was disappointing that the cutlets were not piping hot, but the portion size was good and would likely be appreciated by younger customers. There was no mention of extra rice or refills, so there may be an additional charge for that. The total bill for the day was 800 yen. Thank you for the meal.
