【Oysters and Japanese Cuisine. Ikkoku (#Shibuya)】Located just a 2-minute walk from Shibuya Station, I visited "Oysters and Japanese Cuisine. Ikkoku" around 5:00 PM on a Friday. ----------------------------------- ◯【Weekday Limited】Oysters and Seafood Bowl (¥2,400) *Check out video in pic2, menu in pic7.8 for details. ----------------------------------- ✎ Oysters and Seafood Bowl Limited to 5 servings on weekdays!! Packed with tuna, oysters, salmon, yellowtail, and whitebait (rice not visible). Topped with a generous amount of salmon roe, it's a voluminous dish!! The freshness of the seafood, with no fishy smell, was surprising. It truly is a treasure trove of seafood. You can also enjoy it in two parts by having the broth at the end. With so much seafood packed in, it was a struggle to eat, haha. I'll work on improving my eating skills. It may seem a bit pricey for lunch, but personally, I was quite satisfied. Recommended for those who want to enjoy seafood for lunch. The restaurant offers a wide selection of sake that pairs well with oysters and seafood. With a variety of menu options, seafood lovers will be very satisfied. The staff's service was very polite, and I had a comfortable time. Definitely worth a visit. On the second day of the 3-day weekend, I made a reservation as soon as the restaurant opened at noon and visited. We were seated in a small private room for two and enjoyed a course meal. The fresh oysters were from Hyogo, Iwate, and Hokkaido. The oysters from Akkeshi were particularly creamy and delicious. We had chawanmushi, sashimi, tempura, and for the finale, a delicious pot rice with oysters, salmon roe, and sea urchin. Everything was satisfying. We paired the oysters with white wine. Ordering a bottle meant they would come to pour it for us each time, showing great attention to detail. It was a great restaurant experience.

The appetizer of seared cod roe and mini tomato nanban-zuke alone is enough to keep the drinks flowing all night ♥ Fresh oysters are all priced at 440 yen (tax included), making it very reasonable ✨ Despite being small, they are fresh and creamy. There are several varieties available, so you can enjoy the different flavors. I paired the oysters with Japanese sake, with "Yamawa for oyster" being very easy to drink and a perfect match with the fresh oysters. "IMA" has a light and refreshing taste ✨ The grilled oysters are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and delicious from the moment you pick them up! The grilled yellowtail with kettle salt is also amazing, with a crispy exterior and tender flesh. The oyster, sea urchin, and salmon roe clay pot rice is simply divine! The richness of the oysters, sweetness of the sea urchin and salmon roe is unbelievable ✨ The staff were very polite and made the experience enjoyable (*ˊ˘ˋ*)♪ Definitely give it a try ♥❥˚ ¨ ❥˚ ¨ ❥˚ ¨ ❥˚ ¨ ❥˚ ¨ ❥˚ ¨ ❥˚ ¨ ❥˚ ¨ ❥˚ ¨ ❥ [Ordered Items] - Seasonal appetizer platter (chilled scallop chawanmushi, mini tomato nanban-zuke, seared cod roe, edamame) - Three types of fresh oysters - Sea urchin and black wagyu beef topping (grilled oysters) - Salmon roe topping (grilled oysters) - Yellowtail kettle salt grill - Oyster, sea urchin, and salmon roe clay pot rice (pickles, miso soup) - Sudachi sour - Miyagi Yamawa for oyster Junmai Ginjo - Niigata IMA ~ Sake for oysters ~

This is a stylish little restaurant located near the entrance to the Kamiizumi area at the top of Dogenzaka. You can spot it by the Family Mart, turn there and it's just 20 meters ahead. There are bottles of sake lined up outside the store, so you'll recognize it quickly. It's a calm place away from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya, where you can enjoy a meal. This is a restaurant where you can try oysters from various regions, including Hyogo, Iwate, and Hokkaido. Comparing them, you'll notice that each oyster has a different taste, and you'll be captivated by the charm of oysters. They also have oyster-matching sake, so you can enjoy pairing them together. The grilled oysters are not just ordinary grilled oysters, but a luxurious collaboration on top of that! It was a luxurious experience!

It was a stylish and calm bar! The assorted fresh oysters were served in perfect condition, with a creamy texture and a subtle saltiness that made me want to keep eating. The grilled oysters were easier to eat than the fresh ones, especially with the grated radish and sea urchin on top, making it not only delicious but visually appealing. The tempura was crispy and not greasy, making it easy to enjoy. The finale of oyster, sea urchin, and salmon roe mixed rice was so delicious that I could eat it forever.

Oysters and Japanese cuisine. Ikkoku @ Shibuya #YokohamaGourmet #TokyoGourmet #ThreeCharacterKanjiCityTour → @rinrin_kanji3moji ★Course Seasonal appetizer platter with four varieties of dishes Directly sourced fresh oysters platter with three varieties of dishes Creative grilled oysters platter with two varieties of dishes Seasonal dish of oysters and sea urchin, salmon roe in a hot pot Finally visited the restaurant I was curious about, during the evening course. Two types of Japanese sake were carefully selected to pair with oysters. Main image was very difficult to choose. I generally love fresh oysters, but I really like the creative grilled oysters here. Salmon roe × grated radish × oysters, sea urchin × Wagyu beef × oysters, absolutely delicious. When I added the leftover salmon roe to the sea urchin and Wagyu beef, it was even better. And then there was oysters × sea urchin × salmon roe in the rice dish, and I couldn't help but wonder if they heard my thoughts? Even on a Wednesday, the restaurant was fully booked! I really wanted to eat oysters, so I went with a friend during the Bon holiday break. We tried a recommended dish that allowed us to compare different flavors. The oysters were small but had no fishy smell and tasted pretty good overall. We followed the waiter's suggestion to eat them in order from light to creamy. However, they all ended up tasting creamy and lacking in distinct flavors, which was disappointing. Despite still wanting to eat more, I felt a bit disheartened and ended up paying the bill. We each had a beer and a glass of wine, and it cost around 10,000 yen per person. As someone who loves oysters dearly, I was a bit saddened by the experience. I'm sorry.

Oysters and Japanese cuisine. Ikkoku Shibuya Station Menu ➣ Oyster and seafood bowl ➣ 3 pieces of fresh oysters. I recently visited "Ikkoku" in Shibuya's Jinsen for lunch on a weekday, and it was incredibly popular with customers coming in non-stop! The famous seafood bowl is perfect for seafood lovers, with plenty of salmon roe, tuna, and salmon on top, like a jewel box! The fresh oysters are rich in oyster essence, giving a taste of the sea and pure happiness as soon as you take a bite. The combination of this essence and sparkling wine is irresistible. Perfect for this hot season!

In the small hidden gem in Shibuya, the staff provides attentive service. When you order a bottle of champagne, they store it in the fridge and pour it into your glass when it's running low. It's nice to see their thoughtfulness. The oysters are fresh, and ordering a tasting set allows you to enjoy the different flavors from light to creamy. The clay pot rice is delicious and makes you want to have seconds. The sashimi is all sweet and tasty. I will definitely visit again.

I had never thought about the origin or taste differences of oysters before, but through tasting different kinds, I was able to truly appreciate the deliciousness of fresh oysters. The size of the rock oysters was impressive, so I recommend trying them during the summer season. They even gave advice not to touch the shells, showing their attention to detail. The sashimi and tempura were also delicious. They also made onigiri with the leftover clay pot rice, so I could enjoy it at home too, which made me feel happy!

I went to Shibuya and had a delicious bowl of fresh seafood with oysters and salmon roe - it was amazing! When it arrived, I was so surprised! First, I ate the oysters, then mixed in the side dishes until I could see the rice at the bottom. I started with sashimi, then it turned into a seafood bowl, and finally ended with a tea-infused rice dish. I wasn't sure if I could finish it all, but thanks to the tea-infused rice, I managed to eat everything. Before the seafood bowl came out, I enjoyed some fresh oysters with beer - they were so delicious. The seafood bowl is limited to 5 groups per day for lunch and you can make a reservation. Thank you for reading my review. I hope it inspires you to try some delicious food. If you like or comment, it would really motivate me!

It was for lunch. We were led to a private room for two people, which was cozy and had a sense of privacy, making it suitable for a date. We ordered the Kaki and Seafood Kanzui Donburi (limited to 5 servings per day) which included 3 types of fresh oysters. The bowl was beautifully presented with a generous amount of toppings, including domestic bluefin tuna, fresh fish of the day, a mountain of ikura, steamed oysters, and plenty of volume. It was not just rice inside, but a variety of seafood toppings! The dashi tea served midway through the meal was also delicious, and we couldn't stop eating. The fresh oysters were all delicious and had no unpleasant taste. I would like to visit again for dinner next time.

Gourmet exploration in Shibuya, just a 6-minute walk from Shibuya Station!! 'Oyster and Japanese Cuisine IKKOKU' @ikkoku.1120 Oyster lovers, this is a must-see!! I came here to try the "Oyster and Seafood Kamisen Don" that is limited to only 5 servings per day!! This is a place where you can enjoy delicious oysters and sake. The interior of the restaurant has a stylish atmosphere and there are private rooms, making it suitable for dates or girls' nights out. The oysters, sourced from various regions in Japan, are always in season with 8-10 different types available. The plump and juicy oysters can be enjoyed for 440 yen each!! They also offer a sake called "IMA" that pairs well with oysters, with a refreshing taste. The dishes I tried were: - Oyster and Seafood Kamisen Don ¥2400 - Fresh oysters in season ¥440 each - Sake (IMA) Oyster and Seafood Kamisen Don: The bowl was overflowing with seafood on top of the rice, including a large oyster at the top! In addition to the main dish, it also came with salad, miso soup, and pickles. There are 2 types of soy sauce available for you to enjoy as you like. It was a delight to be able to enjoy an abundance of fresh seafood. You can also enjoy the remaining seafood as ochazuke (rice with tea) at the end! The generous portion of rice allows you to enjoy the meal without worrying about saving some for the ochazuke. This is a restaurant that oyster lovers should definitely visit!! www

It's like a treasure trove! ✨ Feast your eyes on this sparkling and impressive seafood bowl...‼️ And the rice is packed full too! A variety of seafood types for a satisfying lunch - oysters, salmon, ikura, tuna, and more! And all of them are fresh and delicious with firm texture. Finish off with a tea-infused broth for a light and refreshing taste. This is a weekday limited offer, so if you have the time, it's worth a visit.

I made a reservation for a private room at 12:30 on a weekday to celebrate a friend's birthday, opting for the 3500 yen course (drinks not included). The draft beer was perfectly chilled and served in a nice glass. The variety of dishes was plentiful and satisfying. However, the oysters had a strong fishy smell, the tempura was greasy and soggy, and the sea urchin lacked any real flavor, tasting like a synthetic product. Additionally, the privacy of the private room was compromised by the staff fully opening the door when serving, leading to awkward eye contact with customers sitting across from us. Despite the kind gesture of including a chocolate pen message and a fireworks display, I personally found the experience disappointing.

Recommended Points: - Enjoy delicious freshly delivered raw oysters in Shibuya - Indulge in a luxurious seafood bowl with raw oysters for lunch on weekdays - Instagrammable dishes Customer Service: The calm and composed customer service was a bit challenging as we were seated in a private room. Ordered Items: - Seasonal raw oysters: 440 yen per piece - Kamizumi bowl with oysters and seafood: 2400 yen (includes salad, miso soup, pickles) Impressions: You can enjoy raw oysters delivered directly from the source daily, with about 10 different varieties available. On this day, we tried a comparison of 3 types: Oritachi from Iwate, Itojima Milk from Fukuoka, and Hidemine from Hokkaido. The Iwate oysters were the most delicate, while the Hokkaido Hidemine had the richest flavor. All were delicious, but I preferred the large and flavorful Hidemine. The Kamizumi bowl was a stunning sight with a variety of sparkling seafood, including raw oysters and domestic bluefin tuna. It was a generous seafood bowl that took a while for the rice to appear because of the abundance of seafood. It was great that we could turn it into ochazuke towards the end for a different taste. I wish I had tried the recommended sake at this restaurant too!

I had been curious about this seafood bowl that is limited to 5 servings a day! I was invited to try it and went there with excitement. The seafood bowl was piled high with seafood, oysters, and salmon roe, which got me really excited! There were two types of soy sauce, and I chose the oyster soy sauce. The raw oysters were also delicious! It was a luxurious lunch. I was surprised to find that there were private rooms even for two people! The only inconvenience was that there didn't seem to be a bell to call for service in the private room. Thank you for the delicious meal! ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ Items ordered: - Oyster and seafood bowl: 2400 yen - Fresh oyster: 440 yen

"Ikkoku" is a popular Japanese izakaya known for its seafood rice bowl and oysters. Located just a 2-minute walk from Shibuya's Shibuya Station, it offers a variety of fresh oysters from different regions. The creamy and rich flavors of the oysters are enhanced when paired with ponzu sauce made with citrus fruits. The restaurant also offers a selection of sake to complement the oysters, such as IMA from Niigata and Yamahagi from Miyagi. The highlight of the meal is the overflowing seafood rice bowl, topped with oysters, salmon roe, and seasonal fish. The generous portion and affordable price make it a great value. The relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant makes it suitable for couples or casual dates. Note that there are only 5 servings of the seafood rice bowl available each day, so it's recommended to visit early.
