I had the Nigiri set for 1,800 yen and a draft beer for 750 yen. It was cheap and delicious. I think this sushi restaurant is by far the best value for money around here. The restaurant is located on the basement floor of the GEMS building, which is often seen in Tokyo.

Visited around 11:40 on Sunday without a reservation, but was able to get in easily after calling on the same day and finding availability. The large lunch set for 1600 yen is worth it considering the location. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, and of course, the food is delicious.

I visited this restaurant for lunch with my colleagues. It was my second visit, and this time I made a reservation because last time we couldn't get in without one. It seems to be a popular place. It's convenient to be able to make lunch reservations on Tabelog. The prices are high for dinner, but for lunch, you can eat starting from 1,100 yen, which is very cost-effective. Personally, I was very happy with the red vinegar. Of course, the sushi is delicious too. On this day, I had the 1,800 yen menu.

I made a reservation and visited on Sunday. The restaurant was quite crowded, indicating its popularity. We enjoyed our sushi in a private room, which allowed us to relax. The creamy and thick fresh oysters were delicious. The foie gras had a rich flavor that went well with the alcohol. The thickness and sweetness of the sushi toppings, as well as the vinegared rice, were all delicious. Each dish was tasty. The whale sashimi had a deep umami flavor and was delicious. My impression of the restaurant has changed. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I made a reservation for a seat at the counter. It was getting close to full, so I think a reservation is necessary. I ordered the Oomori lunch for ¥1,600, the Uonuma for ¥2,300, and the Kappa Maki and Natto Maki for ¥1,000. I think it's cheap for a sushi lunch in Aoyama.

This time, I had a lunch course for 5000 yen on a weekday. It consisted of over ten dishes including sushi, sashimi, chawanmushi, small dishes, and dessert. The scallop grilled with seaweed was delicious. The interior of the restaurant is luxurious with high ceilings and spacious counter seats, creating a comfortable and not too noisy atmosphere.

[Visit Information]
- Date of Visit: 6/12 (Mon) 13:30
- Price: 1,600 yen per person
- Order: "Large Lunch Set" x 2
[Food]
With 12 pieces of sushi plus 3 rolls, the volume for this price is amazing. The freshness of each sushi piece was impeccable.
[Service]
My companion arrived over an hour late at 14:00. The sushi that was already prepared was covered with wrap until the last moment, showing great consideration. Even though it was already past 14:00 when the dishes were brought to the table, the staff apologized and mentioned that they were soon closing.
[Ambiance & Clientele]
Located in the GEMS building underground in the Aoyama area, this sushi lunch spot offers exceptional value for money. The atmosphere is great, and the fact that they are open on Mondays adds to their appeal. The clientele is a mix of young women treating themselves, university students, and lunch dates for those in their 30s and 40s. The only downside is a slight fishy smell around the staircase leading downstairs, so it's best to take the elevator or engage in lively conversation to distract from it.
[Busy Hours]
During the visit, it was past the lunch peak hour, so there were more than half of the seats available. However, it's considered good manners to make a reservation at such sushi places, and you can also request a table or private room.

My friend made a reservation for us and we went to lunch together! We went to a sushi restaurant that felt like a hidden gem. It was clean, had a great atmosphere, and the service was excellent! They served large, satisfying sushi pieces. The lunch came with miso soup as well, so it was a great meal!

One day, I had lunch at a place in Omotesando recommended by a friend who used to live nearby until March. He said, "It's not exactly my dad's style of sushi, but it's pretty good." Indeed, from the entrance to the interior, the decor is not exactly my taste, but it's not overly flashy or off-putting, so I think it has a nice atmosphere overall. I ordered the lunch menu with Akashiso and fish from Uonuma. There were quite a few inbound customers around me. Akashiso sushi with 11 pieces and 1 roll, along with a small side dish and soup, cost 2300 yen, which is quite reasonable considering the location in Omotesando. They also offer a regular daily sushi set for only 1100 yen. It's even cheaper than some ramen shops in the area, isn't it? Later I found out that they have several branches in Tokyo. It seems to be a popular restaurant gradually expanding its number of locations. I can see why it's gaining popularity.

I wanted to have a refreshing lunch in the Omotesando area, so I did some research and found a hidden gem. Walking towards Shibuya from Omotesando, I followed a narrow street. There is the St. Grace Cathedral nearby, adding a touch of elegance to the area. Following the map, I descended into a building and found the restaurant. The entrance sign was small and the design was quite discreet, making me hesitate a bit before finally opening the door and stepping inside. The interior had a slightly dim hallway leading to a counter area. While there were tables and semi-private seating, I was guided to the counter as I had made a reservation. Most customers seemed to prefer the counter seats, which might indicate their popularity. I ordered a lunch set of sushi and beer, then waited for my meal. Inside the counter area, skilled chefs were busy preparing sushi and cutting fish, which was quite enjoyable to watch. The lunch sushi set was reasonably priced, and even the regular nigiri pieces were quite satisfying. The rice had a slight reddish hue, possibly from red vinegar. I started with a roll and then enjoyed some shirasu. It had been a while since I last had shirasu, so I was delighted to have it here. I also savored tuna, yellowtail, salmon, and more. Each piece had a good size, and the rice was firm and well-defined, providing a satisfying texture. The tamagoyaki had a hint of sweetness, serving as a nice palate cleanser between bites. Overall, it was a delightful meal.

The strongest cost performance sushi restaurant in Tokyo is Ikeina Sushi-dokoro Abe. Overall, there are no disappointments at any of their locations, but my recommendation is the Aoyama branch. Not only is the quality of the sushi top-notch, but the atmosphere of the restaurant, often used for various drama shoots, is also very pleasant. Additionally, you can only taste the dessert "Mizu Manju" at the Aoyama branch. Be sure to give it a try.

I took a customer from overseas to this restaurant and they were able to enjoy delicious sushi with the consideration of allergies and their preferences for fish. The entrance to the restaurant, located underground, may be confusing as to whether it is open or closed, but once you approach, the automatic door opens. The interior is calm with wooden floors, walls, and ceilings. There are counter seats and private rooms available. The prices are on the higher side, typical of Omotesando, but it is a recommended restaurant for hospitality.

Casually enjoy cost-effective sushi at Abe's Aoyama branch for the first time. Located in a quiet area near Omotesando, the interior is more luxurious and has a calm atmosphere compared to other stores. However, the menu offers reliable and cost-effective lunch options. The Shiozawa set is a favorite due to its balanced combination of content, quantity, and price. When you want to eat a lot, the 1.5 serving of nigiri is also good. Additionally, the bara chirashi comes with several large seaweed sheets, making it enjoyable to make hand rolls. This place is really good in terms of cost-effectiveness.

It is a very beautiful sushi restaurant with a non-conveyor belt system. I took my foreign boyfriend who was new to non-conveyor belt sushi restaurants, and he was very happy! The lunch prices are reasonable and the calm atmosphere of the location was great.

The lunch sushi at Omotesando is considered to have the best cost performance. As soon as you enter the store, you can already smell the "delicious sushi restaurant smell" and have high expectations. The interior of the store is also clean, and the service is pleasant. The uni and chutoro melt in your mouth, and the price is fantastic for what you get. It was delicious!

The green onions were delicious again this time! It's a unique treat at this restaurant as you don't find it at many other places. The crispy grilled pork belly was even more delicious... They also made a special order of small skin, pickled ginger, and shiso leaf rolls for us, even though it's not on the menu. The combination was perfect! I'll definitely come back here when I crave green onions again...

I visited this restaurant without a reservation before and couldn't get in, so this time I made a reservation in advance! The restaurant is usually over 10,000 yen for dinner, with a very elegant exterior and interior, but the fact that you can have lunch for around 1,000 yen is a super deal in my opinion. Depending on the season, the flowers inside the restaurant change, creating a completely different atmosphere, so I recommend sitting at the easy-to-see counter seats. They make sushi right in front of you. This time, I had the "Oomori Lunch" (1,600 yen). This is about 3 pieces less than the "Daily Lunch" (1,100 yen), but either way, the prices are surprisingly reasonable.

Located just across from the entrance of Antiques Street, a 3-4 minute walk down Aoyama Street, this sushi restaurant is known for its great value. Situated in a stylish building with an Ittala shop in the basement, the restaurant offers a daily lunch special for 1,100 yen including appetizers, 9 pieces of sushi, a roll, and miso soup. The quality of the sushi is comparable to slightly upscale conveyor belt sushi restaurants, making it a great deal considering the ambiance and location. While the drinks are a bit pricey, the restaurant's pricing is incredibly fair. Perfect for a quick sushi lunch before running errands, or for those who find non-conveyor belt sushi restaurants intimidating, this spot offers unbeatable value with a speedy 15-minute service from entry to finish.

I had lunch at Ikina Sushi Abe Roppongi about 10 years ago and it was not great, so I haven't been back since. But I noticed they have a branch in Aoyama, so I decided to give it another try. To my surprise, it was in the same building as Denkushi Flori. Even more surprising was that I never realized Denkushi Flori was so close to my office. The interior was quite fancy and there were a lot of customers. I ordered the daily lunch special for 1100 yen. Some slightly salty appetizers and tea were served quickly. It took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive. Then came the miso soup. Unlike the one I had in Roppongi, this one had red vinegar in the rice. I tried the tuna and found that with this rice, it was actually quite delicious. The toppings were decent for the price, and as long as the rice is good, I have no complaints.
