It's been a while since I had a lobster roll (*´Д`*). It was pure happiness to savor a mouthful of lobster! I enjoyed a luxurious light meal. I wanted to recharge but my stomach was tired, so it was perfect. The seasoned bread with garlic butter spread inside was delicious ♡

I visited for the first time at 3:00 pm on a regular day. The restaurant was about 80% full. There were plenty of seats at the counter. I ordered an apple juice for 400 yen, and my friend ordered an iced coffee for 400 yen. You can sit on either the first or second floor. It's a good place to take a break as it's close to the station.

Because I skipped lunch, even though it was evening, I wanted to eat seafood so I dined alone. I ordered shrimp with a drink and a potato set B, with an apple juice as my drink. The hot and crispy bread was delicious, but the overflowing shrimp was small and seemed like it was taken out of the refrigerator and sandwiched, giving a mismatched feeling. Is this supposed to be like this? Since I didn't know any other menu where I could enjoy shrimp luxuriously, I was satisfied with this! The taste was enhanced by adding two packets of ketchup sauce! The potatoes were fluffy and delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I went to the restaurant on Sunday morning, just before 10 am, and the seats were almost full. Customers who bought from the bakery on the first floor were also allowed to use the seats on the second floor. I chose a menu that had both shrimp and crab. I was a little worried about the shrimp having a muddy smell, but it was delicious without any issues. The potatoes were a bit dry, which was disappointing, but the sandwich was so tasty that I would definitely want to eat it again.

In Japan, there is a rare seafood fast food called Luke's Lobster. I didn't have much time and wanted to grab a quick lunch near the station, so I remembered this place. It is located on the pathway connecting Shinjuku Station South Exit and Odakyu Southern Terrace (crossing Koshu Kaido). The second floor is Luke's Lobster, while the first floor has Eggs Slats and Boulangerie Ange, all connected by stairs inside. Today's lunch special includes lobster and shrimp, potatoes, pickles, and orange juice. Last time I only had lobster, so today I opted for half lobster and half shrimp. When the buzzer goes off, I'll go pick up my order. It's not a very large portion, but it's perfect for when you want to eat something healthy and delicious. Lobster is not something you eat every day, so it feels special and there's a generous amount in the dish. The price is a bit high at ¥1925, but it's a satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal!

I finally tried the lobster sandwich that I had been curious about. I arrived at the restaurant a little after 10 o'clock, and the Shinjuku branch has three shops in the same building, so it was already crowded. I managed to find a seat at the counter on the second floor. The prices were about 20% higher than what was listed on Tabelog.

LUKE'S LOBSTER⭐️ 3.47 on Tabelog, Budget: 2000 yen, 2 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station South Exit, Southern Terrace, ☎️ Reservation available. Founded in Manhattan, this is a specialty shop for lobster rolls. It became a hot topic a while back at the first store in Omotesando, and I also loved eating there. I happened to see one in Shinjuku, so I used it for a quick lunch with a friend. What we ordered was the Lobster & Crab Roll with French fries and a drink. For someone as indecisive as me, having a menu that can be split in half is very much appreciated. It's slightly cheaper than just the lobster roll, and it's a great combination of lobster and crab sandwiched between buttery toasted bread. It's impossible for it not to be delicious. If you haven't been yet, please go check it out!

Lobster roll ¥2300, COMBO C ¥600 (soup + drink), Tax ¥290, Total ¥3190. It's not bad, but not as good as expected... It seems a bit overpriced. As mentioned by others, the tables and windows inside the restaurant are dirty. During my visit, I didn't see any staff cleaning the tables after customers left. One positive point is that there are still empty seats during lunchtime on weekends.

I happened to come across Luke's and couldn't resist getting takeout. It's a well-known lobster roll specialty shop. I've had it before at the Shibuya Stream location (which has since closed), and even before that in NY. I had the same impression at the Shibuya Stream location, but for some reason, it just doesn't quite match up to the deliciousness of the NY one. Maybe it's because the portion size is smaller... Anyway, thanks for the meal.

I wanted to eat a lobster roll so badly, so I decided to come to Luke's after a long time. It's a simple dish with lobster meat stuffed in toasted bread, but the unique taste is irresistible. I used to come here often because I loved it so much, but I had to avoid shellfish due to the risk of gout. Recently, my uric acid levels have been stable, so I decided to indulge a little bit. It's been about three years since I last had it, and I noticed that the price has increased, resulting in a slightly smaller portion of lobster meat. Perfect timing! I opted for the fried potato set with iced tea. The restaurant was bustling, and most people were eating sandwiches from the lower floor's "Eggslut" which seemed to be the talk of the town. Lobster roll fans like me felt a bit envious. They also had shrimp and crab rolls to try, but the lobster roll was undeniably delicious. I prefer savoring a few delicious items rather than trying various things in small portions. The fried potatoes in the set were cut into large chunks, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned perfectly with salt, enhancing their sweetness. They were piping hot and irresistible. I almost forgot about the main lobster roll while enjoying the fried potatoes. The lobster claw meat was the highlight, tender and succulent, while the body meat was firm and chewy. Both textures combined beautifully in my mouth, creating a luxurious and rich flavor. The toasted bread was also delicious, with a coarse texture and a buttery, crispy finish. It complemented the lobster meat wonderfully. The Sriracha sauce provided a sweet, sour, spicy, and garlicky flavor when mixed with ketchup and dipped with the fried potatoes. It was a delightful experience, and I look forward to walking a lot and treating myself to the regular-sized lobster roll next time. Grateful.

This is a lobster roll specialty store at Southern Terrace. There are two sizes of lobster rolls available, regular and light, with the light size priced at 1,500 yen. I think the light size is enough for a light lunch for a woman. The lobster roll is packed with more lobster than I imagined, so even though the price is high, I am satisfied. The set with potatoes was a good deal.

It was delicious! Absolutely delicious! I added a drink and soup to my lobster and crab. I'm torn between lobster, crab, and shrimp. I want to have all of them. Haha. I love potatoes. The soup had a thick texture and a rich flavor, very satisfying. Adding some spiciness and ketchup for extra flavor was great. The atmosphere of the restaurant, the staff, and the customers were all nice. I definitely want to go back!

Lobster roll (light) ¥1650
The bread was crispy and fragrant! The lobster inside was intentionally served cold. It seems that crustaceans can become tough when cooked, so they keep it cold to maintain its softness and sweetness. It tasted just like the one I had in New York before. It was delicious!!!
Combo B ¥495
The fries were surprisingly delicious. Each fry was large, and you could taste the flavor of the potatoes. It's a junk food that makes you want to go back regularly. Although it's a bit pricey, I recommend it! Thank you for the meal ★

I arrived early for a meeting in Shinjuku and decided to grab a quick bite. I noticed that the terrace was bustling with people, so I headed to Luke's on the second floor. It had an American vibe, which I liked, but the area around the counter was a bit dirty. I chose the most popular item, the lobster roll, along with some potatoes and coffee for about 2,000 yen. It was a bit pricey, but the taste was delicious, although not as strong as the authentic version. If I have the budget and time to spare in Shinjuku, I might visit again.

First of all, the store is dirty. Even though the store below is a related store, they can bring up products from the store below to the second floor, but it's still empty. There are a lot of people below. Maybe because lobster is not familiar? I ordered while thinking that. It is indeed expensive, but there are also half-size options, and menus like lobster and shrimp half & half that can keep the price down. The store is dirty. There is dust piled up on the cash register for some reason, and there is a lobster sandwich object... ugh... I endured it. There is no "welcome" greeting, and two staff members are working with their backs turned. They have been talking non-stop since I placed my order. And they don't pick up the trash even if it falls at the foot of the seat. It was a really unpleasant experience after a long time. The lobster varies in terms of being watery, tasteless, or slightly delicious. The only decent thing might be the ginger ale for ¥300. If you want to eat, you'd better go soon before the store disappears, haha.

Lobster Roll❣️ I always used to admire it from the side, but finally got to try it haha. It's a bit pricey for fast food, so I opted for the light version. I had the Lobster Grill Cheese hot sandwich with a side of potatoes. Even in the light size, you can really taste the lobster! It's delicious~~ The bread is warm and the lobster is cold, which really enhances the lobster flavor haha. The hot sandwich is also tasty! It has gooey cheese with chunks of shrimp. It's a luxurious price, but I'm very satisfied with how delicious it is.

During my break time, I went to have coffee!!! I had been to many places and was tired, so I decided to take a little break♡ I came in the evening and was surprised to see so many people. The terrace was empty and it was great. The terrace on the first floor? was better though... This time I only had coffee, but I was really interested in the food҉*\( * ॑˘ ॑* ) Next time, I want to go eat! Thank you for the meal:o ===========

I visited the lobster roll specialty shop "LUKE'S LOBSTER" located just a 1-minute walk from Shinjuku Station South Exit. I still remember the excitement I felt when I first tried it in Omotesando. They faithfully reproduce the authentic Maine lobster roll eating style, where seafood tends to become tough when heated, by serving it cold. The balance between the crispy original buns and the tender lobster is exquisite! This time, I wanted to experience even more tenderness, so I chose the "Lobster & Shrimp Roll (1,500 yen)" for the first time. It is delicious with just the original seasoning and lemon butter, but if you like spicy food, be sure to add Sriracha. They also sell meal kits for those who don't have a store nearby. Be sure to check it out!

I didn't visit the restaurant when it was half-eaten (lol). I went there because I wanted to eat a lobster sandwich, but they didn't have any imported ones so I had to settle for a Canadian substitute. They didn't have lobster sandwiches, so I ended up getting a lobster and shrimp sandwich, gratin, potatoes, and a drink. We visited around 12 pm on a weekday, but they weren't serving lunch. It was disappointing as we ended up spending almost 5000 yen for two people. The lobster and shrimp sandwich was completely different from what I had before. Maybe it was just bad luck, but there were hardly any claws, let alone red parts. The portion was also very small. My dining partner had the same experience. I won't be eating here until they have a reliable supply of imported lobster.

Located on the 2nd floor on the Southern Terrace side from the south exit of Shinjuku Station, there is a restaurant called Luxe. I was so impressed by the luxurious lobster dish I had previously purchased at the Cat Street branch that I was careful not to spill it as I ate in front of the store, and I was so moved by the deliciousness that I wanted to go back again. It's a size that you can easily go alone, but to avoid interfering with dinner later, I asked them to cut it in half and shared it with my husband. This time, the lobster, which was again extravagantly filled, was firm and had just the right amount of saltiness, and it went perfectly with the bread. The potatoes were also hot and fluffy. It goes really well with beer, doesn't it? I don't know many places where you can eat lobster, so it's highly recommended for when you feel like eating lobster or when you just want to have a drink. It's also great to be able to drink alcohol in the sunlight. I will definitely visit again.
