Amichun
I had some errands to run in Omotesando, and while I was walking around thinking about what to eat for lunch, I happened to stumble upon this place. I had heard about this restaurant before, but I didn't know they had a branch in Omotesando. Normally, there's a long line to get in, but maybe because I avoided lunchtime, I only had to wait for about 10-15 minutes. They had water available while waiting in line, which was a really thoughtful gesture especially in this hot weather. The menu had several options, and when it was my turn, I bought a meal ticket. Luckily, they had a limited quantity "WAGYU Hamburg Set (2500 yen)" available, so I decided to go with that. You could choose whether to have the Demi-glace sauce with or without cheese, and I chose the one with cheese this time. The seating was at the counter only, and water and eggs were self-service. They explained the condiments and how to eat the meal when I sat down, and then I waited for my food to arrive. This time, the set came with two 140g hamburgers. Once the first one was cooked, they placed it on top of the rice. The juices from the meat overflowed onto the rice, soaking it and making it even more delicious. The hamburgers were not heavy at all, and I felt like I could eat as many as I wanted. The condiments were finely calculated to match the hamburgers, and I could tell. There were three types of condiments, Demi-glace sauce, eggs, and eating it as is, so I had fun trying them all out. They were all so delicious that I even struggled with deciding how to eat the last bite. The freshly cooked rice in the pot was also incredibly tasty, and it was all-you-can-eat, but I ended up eating too much. The sweetness of the rice was distinct, and I felt like I could just keep eating it. By the time I left the restaurant, my stomach was full, and I thought I might have overeaten, but I was truly satisfied. The food was so delicious that I think it's worth coming to Omotesando or Harajuku just to eat here. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.
