"Hokkaido Raclette Cheese Omurice - Japanese and Western Cheese Omurice (1,800 yen)" *Comes with soup and salad
This omurice, which has been causing a buzz on social media, has an impactful appearance. The omelette is a beautifully half-cooked type similar to dress omurice, but slightly thinner. The rice is slightly moist and soft. The unique feature is the Japanese-style ingredients such as carrots, pumpkins, daikon radish, and burdock root mixed in. The seasoning is tomato-based and slightly light, giving it a Japanese-style taste. There are two types of sauces, one being a sweet, low-viscosity demiglace sauce, and the other being a sweet Japanese-style sauce that resembles the sauce for Japanese-style hamburgers. The star of the dish is the raclette cheese, which is generously melted and poured over the dish while still hot. The portion is quite generous, and the price is reasonable considering the amount of cheese. Personally, I found the combination of the mild raclette cheese and sweet Japanese-style sauce to be very good. During lunchtime, the dish comes with a Dugast cheese salad and soup.

"Quattro Omurice with Italian Burrata Cheese and Seared Raclette (1,350 yen)" *Comes with soup and salad
Similar to the raclette cheese omurice, this dish features an omelette, rice, and sauce. The difference lies in the fresh and easy-to-eat burrata cheese on top and a blend of three cheeses—mozzarella, red cheddar, and raclette. The cheese melts quite well and has a rich flavor. This dish is recommended for those who want to enjoy more cheese.
[Summary]
Located right near Ebisu Station, "Wa Cheese TENSAI" is a cheese specialty restaurant known for its cheese and Japanese-style fusion dishes. While their omurice is famous, they also offer other interesting dishes like cheese-infused rolled omelettes, cheese-topped oden, and tempura. I visited the restaurant on a holiday shortly after opening at 11:30, and there was already a line of about four groups before opening. The restaurant was fully booked for reservations right after opening, so those without reservations had to wait in line. Reservations are essential, especially on holidays. The omurice with cheese topping seems quite voluminous, but the omurice without cheese is relatively small, making it easy to eat for women or those with small appetites. However, this also means that the satisfaction level may not be very high, so the cost performance may not be great.
