Chao Sun Bamboo in Harajuku✨ is the third branch of the popular Chao Bamboo! The second branch is called Chao Chao Bamboo♬ Their Gapao Rice is flavorful and easy to eat, making it a great match with alcohol. Many people seem to enjoy it. They serve a wide range of Asian cuisine including Chinese, Vietnamese, and Indonesian, making it a versatile and convenient restaurant (*゚▽゚*)

On a Sunday evening, I stopped by before 7 pm and found the place packed. It seems to be very popular. The turnover was decently fast, so we were able to get a table quickly. We ordered shrimp toast, stir-fried water spinach with oyster sauce, stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts, tom yum fried rice, and kao soy. We also had two soft drinks. The total came to a little over 5000 yen for two people, and we were comfortably full. Everything we tried was delicious. They offer self-service for water, tea, and plates, giving it a casual Asian street food vibe. It seems like a good place to grab a quick bite for lunch as well.

You can enjoy authentic Asian cuisine here. I tried ordering the Khao Man Gai. The chicken was very tender and delicious. It came with a spicy sauce that enhanced the Asian flavors. It was a bit disappointing that the cleanliness was lacking a bit, but overall I was satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

This is the third branch of a popular Asian restaurant in Harajuku. While the first branch, Chao Bamboo, and the second branch, Chao Chao Bamboo, offer special lunch menus, this branch, Chao Sun Bamboo, is conveniently located near the station and spacious. It seems like it's not well-known yet, as you can easily get in without waiting in line! The food is definitely delicious, so if you're unsure, I recommend any of the three branches.

Spacious and beautiful! The kitchen is also visible, giving off a Southeast Asian vibe. The menu is still a bit limited, but they have some unique items that other places don't offer. I didn't see any cold noodle dishes like chilled Thai noodles. Hopefully they will add more in the future. On my first visit, I had a sweat-inducing bowl of Khao Soi. It's hot inside, with the door wide open, giving a true Asian experience. The front seats can get warm, so the back was more crowded. They also have bento boxes available.

This place feels like a foreign cafeteria! While taking a casual stroll behind Meiji Jingu Station, I stumbled upon a colorful and bright restaurant! About 90% of the customers were women, and it felt like this place is going to become a hot spot! The taste and portion size were perfect for the hot summer weather!

Chao Sun Bamboo, a Thai restaurant located along a narrow alley about a 5-minute walk from Exit 4 of Meiji-jingumae Station on the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line. I visited for the first time around mid-August during lunchtime. This restaurant is a sister store of the famous Thai restaurant "Chao Bamboo" in the Harajuku area. The spacious interior, which replicates a semi-outdoor Thai setting, has a total of 98 seats at tables. The colorful plastic chairs give it an authentic feel. I sat at a table for two. In the open kitchen inside the restaurant, there were about 6 chefs all busy cooking. Looking at the menu on the table, there were no lunch specials, just the regular menu. I ordered the "Spicy Beef Noodle Soup" (980 yen) for the day. The noodles were flat rice noodles, and it came with lettuce and sauce on the side. I wondered what the lettuce was for, so I tried pouring the sauce on it and it turned out to be a salad. The noodle soup had beef, fish balls, shallots, green onions, and cilantro as toppings. I squeezed the lime on top and started eating. The rice noodles had a smooth texture and were easy to slurp up. The soup had just the right amount of spiciness for me, and I enjoyed the tender and flavorful beef. I finished every last drop of the soup. It was a delicious meal.

Located just a 1-minute walk from the intersection in Harajuku, our restaurant is the third branch of the popular group known for casual Thai cuisine, "Chao Bamboo," which has multiple stores in the neighborhood. We opened on August 7th! Our restaurant has a bright and pop atmosphere compared to the other two branches, offering hearty and consistently delicious Thai dishes. I visited around 1 pm on a weekday and was able to enter without any trouble, although the seats were almost full. On this day, I ordered the "Pho for 800 yen," but due to the grand opening promotion, it was 10% off and cost 720 yen. The simple and light chicken salt-flavored Pho was delicious and easy on the stomach. Additionally, the lunch drink came with unlimited Jasmine tea, which was a nice touch. It's always a reliable choice to dine at Chao Bamboo's 3rd branch. As someone who works in Harajuku and often struggles to find a place for lunch, having this option nearby is a great convenience. Thank you for the meal.

I tend to become a lunch refugee in this area, but this place is convenient and the taste is delicious, so I find it very useful. I have tried various dishes, but my favorite is the Gapao. It is also recommended for having a quick drink or two in the evening.
