Located in front of the Electric Town exit at the south entrance of Akihabara Station, this izakaya catches your eye with its tempting sign advertising "draft beer for 190 yen." The restaurant is part of a new chain, with a similar establishment in the local area of Kamata. The specialty here is the "tsutsumi," chicken skin skewers grilled to a crispy perfection. The menu prominently features this dish, both on the outside sign and at the counter. Starting off with a Sapporo Black Label draft beer, which does not disappoint, we also ordered the "quail soy sauce pickles" as a quick appetizer. It arrived in less than a minute, with quail eggs soaked in soy sauce and topped with plenty of chopped green onions. The flavor was delicious and paired well with the alcohol. As we quickly finished the beer, we switched to highballs. We then added the izakaya's signature dish, the "tsutsumi" and the "drooling chicken." The highball was a bit weak on the whiskey, but the "drooling chicken," which consisted of boiled chicken mixed with cucumbers, was spicy and complemented the alcohol nicely. Next came the "tsutsumi," which was grilled chicken skin skewers. While tasty, it lacked the satisfying fatty texture that some may prefer. Overall, the cheap alcohol prices made for a pleasant bill, especially for those who don't indulge in too many appetizers. I noticed that there is also a branch of this restaurant in Kamata, so I might give it a try if I feel like it.

I met with people who had crossed to the east in Ise and had a meal together. I was given a business card for the new company I will be working for, but I couldn't give one back because I didn't have a business card. The place was really cheap and delicious, but because it was so cheap, we ordered too much and everyone was full in about 10 minutes. I would like to come here even when I'm just hungry.

Oh? Why didn't I include the review of Shinjidai here? It was forgotten in the draft. My favorite Shinjidai has opened a new branch here! As soon as you enter, ordering drinks and 10 skewers per person is a must. Enjoy the crispy and juicy skewers to the fullest. Mix about 2 skewers into the negimeshi and dig in for the win! In front of Akihabara Denkigai Station. Duars Highball for 150 yen, draft beer for 190 yen, and a 1-liter Mega High for 450 yen, offering incredible value. Note that prices are excluding tax. Deep-fried chicken skin skewers are 50 yen each. Quail marinated in soy sauce is 250 yen. It may seem too cheap, but the chicken skin is delicious, especially with the secret spice blend. The taste is decent, but the prices are unbeatable, surpassing even drinking at home. This cost performance in front of Akihabara Station made me feel like I got a great deal. A new izakaya called Denshuku Shintaisei located near Akihabara Station, just opened at the end of January. The atmosphere was lively with many part-time staff working. The skewers had a chewy texture with a sweet and savory seasoning that went well with alcohol. The self-mixed potato salad was interesting. Other dishes were typical of chain izakayas but decent. The drinks were a bit weak due to too much ice. Overall, the prices were reasonable for the generous portion sizes. It's a good place to casually enjoy with a group of friends.

I heard that the third store opened in Akihabara, so I went there. They had a special promotion for the opening, and the drinks were really cheap, so I had a lot. The pyramid of grilled chicken skewers was huge! It was filled with spicy chicken skin skewers (lol). It was really delicious. Two women finished it all.

I went to the restaurant because they were offering drinks for 88 yen to celebrate their grand opening! There was a clear sign that was easy to spot after a short walk from the station. The dengaku skewers I tried for the first time were delicious even when they cooled down! It was my first time trying dorayaki too, and I was worried it was undercooked, so I asked the staff. They explained that's how it's supposed to be eaten and offered to cook it more if I wanted. The person who seemed like the manager even asked if we wanted to order something before calling us in. Despite being busy, the service was excellent! Although Akihabara is a bit far, I would love to go back again!

The staff, especially the young lady, quickly noticed when our drinks were running low and smoothly handled the situation. She also brought us small plates without us having to ask, showing great attention to detail.

Stable Densuke is a must-visit for their food. I love their red chicken liver sashimi. Plus, the beer is so cheap, it's the best.

The taste of the Denkutsu Anjo is stable and delicious! I had just three cups in about an hour, but that amount was just right!

Appetizer for 300 yen. If it wasn't for that, it would be 5 stars.
