This day was a holiday. I used it for lunch before the movie. While wandering around the Ueno Hirokoji area alone, I suddenly received a flyer. Upon closer inspection, it said "Half-price draft beer!" and a lamb set meal. According to the continental-looking waiter who was handing out the flyers, the restaurant had just opened a week ago. The restaurant is located underground. The interior of the restaurant was empty. Perhaps because the location was inconspicuous? Or maybe because there was a newly opened cheap yakiniku restaurant on the opposite side? The restaurant has been struggling with low customer turnout over the past week. The manager quit after just one week, and now there are only two staff members, the chef and the waiter. The restaurant is clean, probably due to being newly opened. There are no counter seats, only sofa seats for four people. The owner seems to be of continental descent, but all the lamb is domestically sourced. It is air-shipped from Hokkaido. Despite it being lunchtime, you can also order from the full menu! The menu includes various lamb dishes and some rare dishes as well. The variety of lamb dishes is quite impressive, ranking high in Ueno. As it was my first time, I ordered the "Lamb loin + Lamb leg" lunch set (1498 yen). The lunch set includes the main dish, vegetables, rice, and miso soup. I wanted to have draft beer, so I skipped the rice (the same price even without rice). First, I had a draft beer (Premium Malts, 520 yen → half price 260 yen). There was no appetizer with the draft beer. It was served in a unique frosted jug that I had never seen before. The beer was very tasty, maybe due to the special jug that minimizes temperature changes. It was so good that I had a second one in the middle of the day. The lamb was juicy and had no gamey taste. They use high-quality fresh lamb. The amount of meat seemed to be around 250g. They offered a 30g increase as a new store opening promotion, which was a satisfying amount. For an average woman, it might be better to have less rice. You can also enjoy the lamb with cumin powder, which is a magical flavor. I mostly ate the lamb with the powder instead of the sauce. When asked if it was delicious, I mentioned that maybe it's due to the location underground and lack of awareness. Also, many Genghis Khan restaurants in the area offer all-you-can-eat options, so they might want to consider that as well. The quality of the lamb was good, the menu was diverse, and the cost performance was decent. I hope this restaurant will thrive in the future. Thank you for the meal. This is a repeat shop when heading towards Ameyoko. It offers reasonably priced and delicious meals, especially the lunch sets which range from 880 yen to 1480 yen, giving a sense of value. In addition to rice and miso soup, they also provide a complimentary soft drink. Also, try adding cumin powder to the sweet and spicy Genghis Khan sauce when eating lamb meat for a different flavor experience. The master of the shop has a nice personality.

During the Bon holiday break, I indulged in heavy eating and drinking, which led to my health check-up results worsening. I was scolded by a beautiful female doctor for it. So, I decided to have a healthy meal and visited Koiko Lamb, a restaurant known for its healthy lamb dishes. I ordered the Genghis Khan lunch set with lamb shoulder for 880 yen, and chose ginger ale as my drink. The friendly owner set up the grill for me and warned me not to overcook the meat. I started by seasoning the lamb with cumin-spiced salt, which was delicious. Then, I tried it with soy sauce and grilled vegetables on a bed of rice. I ended the meal with a cold ginger ale. It was a delightful dining experience. Next, I headed to another restaurant for my next meal.

I used this restaurant for catching up with friends once or twice a year. The restaurant is located next to San Marco, on a side street near Ueno ABAB, heading towards Ameyoko. We went downstairs and reserved a table for three by saying "dekai desu" (we're big). We ordered the Genghis Khan set (2900 yen) and the 1190 yen all-you-can-drink set. The set included lamb leg, lamb shoulder, lamb shoulder loin, and assorted vegetables, which was a good deal compared to ordering them individually. The restaurant had a roaster, but there was a lot of smoke coming out, making it a bit hazy. There were small pots on the table, which I assume were the rumored magic spices. We drank while enjoying the lamb meat with sauce. The lamb was tender and delicious, and I immediately tried the magic spice. It was a cumin-based spice that made me want to eat more rice endlessly! It was so delicious and unique that I sprinkled it generously. The lamb shoulder loin was delicious, but the best value was the lamb shoulder. We ordered additional lamb shoulder, lamb fried rice, lamb dumplings, and lamb soup dumplings. The meat in the lamb fried rice was a bit tough, but it had a strong and delicious flavor, like a hearty homemade meal. We continued to drink and eat until the time limit approached. The restaurant was filled with smoke and lively conversations. As we left the restaurant and headed to Starbucks, my clothes were coated with a strong smell of grilled lamb. I look forward to trying their lunch menu next time, which is available until 5 pm for a more budget-friendly option!

This shop is located in Taito Ward, Tokyo. I've been into lamb meat recently, so I decided to have lunch here on this day. The shop is known for being cheap and delicious, and it certainly lived up to the reputation. The homemade spices have a unique and addictive flavor, so I recommend giving them a try. The portions are quite generous, so even men should be able to leave feeling satisfied. I heard that during lunchtime, you can even get a free refill of rice.

I went to this restaurant for the all-you-can-eat option. I made a reservation for the weekend but it was fully booked. The quality of the meat was okay. What I found interesting was that you could eat with Chinese spices. The lamb shumai and dumplings were the most delicious.

I really liked this place as a lamb lover and ended up going twice in two weeks. Both times I ordered the course with all-you-can-drink premium beer for 1690 yen and all-you-can-eat 31 items for 4180 yen (total 31 items) for a total of 5870 yen per person (tax included). Cheaper courses do not include all-you-can-drink beer, which is essential for enjoying Genghis Khan. The vegetables are also all-you-can-eat, and the meat is thick, tender, and free of any unpleasant smells, so you can eat with peace of mind. However, I couldn't eat enough to make up for the cost, but there's no doubt that this place has become my top choice when I want to eat lamb.

A valuable restaurant with good cost performance that serves lunch until late afternoon. Located in a mysterious building where the elevator does not lead to the basement, you have to go down the stairs to find the place. If you're a first-timer, you may feel a bit confused at the register, but when you tell the staff the number of people in your group, they will guide you to the back. The benches have storage compartments underneath with plastic bags provided, which is convenient to keep your belongings safe from smoke and the smell of lamb fat. The menu includes lunch and all-you-can-drink options, making it the most affordable place for daytime drinking with lamb dishes. Despite being a popular spot, the shoulder loin is always sold out, but the freshness and deliciousness of the lamb shoulder are worth mentioning. The restaurant is always pleasantly busy, even during off-peak hours. I added an extra plate of shoulder loin, spent a leisurely 2 hours, and the total bill came to around 4,000 yen. It's a great place, and I will definitely visit again.

I recently had Genghis Khan in Hokkaido, and now I came to eat lamb meat again. I made a last-minute reservation for the day, but some people came without a reservation and it ended up being full. At first, I ordered only thigh and lamb chops with coriander salad to see how it was. When I tried grilling the thigh, I found out that it was delicious without any unpleasant smell, so I added tongue, shoulder, and loin. The loin started to have a slight smell after some time, so it's recommended to grill it right away when it arrives. Overall, it was cheap and delicious.

This is my second visit. The 2980 yen set was no longer available. It is listed in the guide along the road. I had to order individual items instead. This restaurant serves generous portions, so two plates of meat and complimentary vegetables filled me up. That's why I don't drink alcohol to keep the cost down. (Refer to the receipt in the photo) The lamb meat was tender and delicious, with no unpleasant smell. It's affordable, tasty, and satisfyingly filling. The staff recommended sprinkling their special powder on the meat, which indeed enhanced the flavor. It gives a slightly Asian taste, but compared to the allspice sold at Kaldis, it has a completely different impact. I will visit again when I feel like having lamb. Thank you for the meal.

We made a reservation for our family, but when we arrived 5 minutes before our reservation time, there were still customers inside. We said "Excuse me, it's time" and they quickly left so we could enter. The man at the restaurant (probably the manager) asked us if we knew how to cook the meat and was very kind. There were about 5 types of meat for all-you-can-eat, but we ended up just choosing the beef loin which was delicious like fresh lamb. The restaurant was a bit smoky, typical for a Genghis Khan restaurant, so we had to wash all our clothes when we got home. The atmosphere was lively with customers cheering, giving it a more pub-like feel. I was a bit worried about the cleanliness of the restroom, but it was surprisingly very clean. The meat was delicious.

Yesterday, I went with my two sons. The sauce was a bit lacking in flavor, but when I added some seasoning, it became incredibly delicious. I tried lamb liver and heart for the first time and they were delicious. The lamb dumplings and shumai were also incredibly tasty. The spring rolls were a bit challenging to cook on my own table. I would like to go again.

We decided to eat Genghis Khan around Ameyoko and ended up here. When we arrived around 6pm, it was almost full, but we managed to get a seat! They had an all-you-can-eat menu, but since it was our first visit, we ordered from the regular menu and added a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option. The Genghis Khan menu here is extensive, with normal lamb shoulder, loin, heart, and even rare items like liver and testicles (!). They also have a variety of side dishes like lamb dumplings and lamb buns. Today, we ordered lamb chops, lamb shoulder, heart, and spicy miso-marinated lamb. The lamb was all fresh and delicious with no gamey taste! The master's special spice blend with chili, cumin, garlic, etc. was perfect for the lamb! We started with the Genghis Khan sauce, but ended up just eating the lamb with this spice blend. It's so addictive that I'll definitely come back again. The master's character was fun, and it was a great time. We ate to our hearts' content for about 3000 yen per person, so the cost performance was great! I will definitely come back!

I decided on the same day to search and reserve for Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue). Although the restaurant wasn't very crowded, the lamb meat was very delicious. Ordering a set allows you to eat plenty of cheap and tasty lamb meat.

The average score is 3.0, with ratings falling between 2.9 and 3.1. For lunch, they serve miso soup with small shrimp broth, a soft drink, and generously cooked rice. The seating is spacious. The 150-gram sirloin steak costs 1,180 yen and looks appealing. The meat has a slightly tough texture, reminiscent of mutton. I was surprised that the meat from Shinobaz Brewery, a famous restaurant in Asahikawa, was easier to chew. When I mentioned that it was my first time trying this dish and didn't know how to eat it, I was told that the secret spice in the pot is meant for the meat. I thought it would be spicy, but it actually had a Eurasian taste that added to the overall atmosphere.

I made a reservation for a course that costs around 4400 yen for all-you-can-eat and around 1600 yen for all-you-can-drink! The all-you-can-eat menu included a huge amount of meat, so we couldn't order more meat after the initial serving (lol). Here are my thoughts on the different types of meat: - Chuck roll: Strong flavor but tough - Shoulder: Fatty and satisfying - Kalbi: Tender with a nice amount of oil - Thigh: Incredibly tender - Heart: Tender and juicy - Liver: No strange taste - Tongue: Refreshing and tender Personally, I liked the thigh the best, and all the hormone meats were delicious. For dim sum: - Lamb meat dumplings: Bursting with flavor - Lamb shumai: Juicy and flavorful - Lamb spring rolls: Crispy and full of flavor The spring rolls are often recommended to be grilled, but they are actually fried in the lamb oil that collects around the pot, which is delicious! The lamb fried rice was tasty with lots of ingredients, but the lamb in the lamb yakisoba had a slight unpleasant smell. Above all, the staff were very friendly! Their Japanese was a bit broken, but their service and hospitality were excellent. As the title suggests, the special spice from the master chef was so delicious that we hardly used any sauce for the meat! I heard that they also sell the spice, which is great. Personally, I was more satisfied with this meal than the Genghis Khan I had in Hokkaido (lol).

I visited the restaurant for an early dinner. The interior had a high threshold with spacious table seating, making it comfortable. Ordering was done through a touch panel system, which was convenient. I ordered the cheapest all-you-can-eat option (4180 yen). After a variety of meats like kalbi, shoulder, thigh, and liver were served, I could freely order individual menu items. I grilled the meat while adding dim sum like lamb dumplings and shumai, as well as curry and coriander salad. The shoulder meat and side dishes like dumplings and coriander salad were delicious. It cost around 5000 yen per person, allowing me to eat to my heart's content, making it a suitable place for a year-end feast.

Shoulder 150g set 880 yen Today, I will have lunch in Ueno. Taking advantage of the Taito Ward PayPay 20% cashback campaign that started this month. I will try this place that I have been curious about since it is a participating store. At 11:39 AM, my colleague and I entered the restaurant with no other customers present, only one customer arrived later. We ordered using the touch panel, I chose the lamb shoulder. Although rice upsizing was free, I declined. I requested a complimentary drink, ginger ale. A pot was placed in the center, shortly after onions, leeks, and bean sprouts arrived. While grilling the vegetables, the main dish of lamb meat finally arrived. Just as the meat started to cook, rice and miso soup were served. The timing and order of the dishes were well thought out, which was nice. I enjoyed the lamb meat with cumin-based spices and special sauce. The meat was tender and had no unpleasant smell or taste. The cumin-based spices quickly transformed the dish into a Chinese Northeastern flavor. Since lamb meat doesn't have a strong taste, the sauce was enough to make it delicious. It made me want to have more. With this portion size and price, it was the best lunch in terms of taste and cost performance. I paid with PayPay and received a 176 yen cashback. I enjoyed it very much. Visited for lunch on December 5, 2022.

I visited Koiko-chan in Ameyoko area for a meal. I ordered the Lamb Shoulder for 880 yen with free extra rice and a drink. I chose to have it as Genghis Khan style hot pot with onions, bean sprouts, and leeks around the pot, and the meat in the center. The fresh lamb meat had no smell and tasted great with the sauce on top of the rice. I also enjoyed adding spices from the pot for a spicy twist. After finishing the meal, I ended with a cold ginger ale. I was very satisfied and full after the delicious meal.

The lunch set with shoulder and rib (200g set) for ¥1,380 and thigh and shoulder (200g set) for ¥1,280 was a great deal with rice, miso soup, and a soft drink included! The meat was delicious. The other menu items also looked tasty, and if I wasn't on a diet, I would have definitely gone for the all-you-can-eat option (lol). Genghis Khan is really healthy and good ♩ *Reservation made for 12:30 on a weekday. Payment method: PayPay. Thank you for the meal!

The other day, I saw a TV show featuring restaurants where you can eat "sheep", and my head was filled with thoughts of sheep. I searched for a good restaurant and found one! Walking from Ueno Station towards ABAB, I saw a yellow and red sign on a building nearby. The name of the restaurant is "Kozaiko" which means "Here is a sheep". The menu is extensive, with lunch sets including lamb loin, lamb shoulder, lamb leg, and you can choose between Genghis Khan style or grilled on a net. I decided to go for the set that includes lamb leg, lamb loin, and lamb shoulder grilled on a net. The owner, a man who seems to be running the place mostly by himself, was very attentive and made sure everything was okay. The meat was delicious, tender, and had no unpleasant smell. I enjoyed the meal thoroughly and felt satisfied with the experience.
