Today, three of us entered this restaurant. You can also order from the menu of the "Ebi to Bata Niku to Nihonshu no Izakaya" across the street. There are seats on the first and second floors. It's small, but tolerable. We ordered the following dishes:
- Mussels as a complimentary appetizer.
- Iburi Gakko and Cream Cheese (480 yen): A classic combination of finely chopped Iburi Gakko and cream cheese, perfect for drinking.
- Horse Meat Meatloaf (Half, 980 yen): Recommended dish with asparagus inside, crispy on the outside and juicy inside.
- Special Grilled Oysters Assortment (1,750 yen): Five varieties including Mentaiko Mayo, Butter Soy Sauce, Garlic, Tomato, and Basil.
- Grilled Hanburi Beef (900 yen): Thinly sliced Hanburi beef seared with green onions.
- Gangan Yaki (2 servings, 2,000 yen): Steamed grilled clams, mussels, and oysters.
- Tomato Cheese Risotto (850 yen): Risotto made with the leftover broth from Gangan Yaki, topped with grilled cheese.
- Shrimp Carpaccio (780 yen): Fresh red shrimp carpaccio, refreshing and delicious.
- Potato Salad (480 yen): Shrimp-flavored but nothing special.
- Shrimp Miso (480 yen): Served with crackers, a good combination.
- Horse Sashimi Assortment (1,000 yen): Lean and loin cuts with Aizu Miso, Garlic Soy Sauce, and Ginger Soy Sauce.
- Today's Fresh Oyster Assortment (1,500 yen): Best from Hyogo, average from Saroma Lake, and balanced from Miyagi.
- White Beer (880 yen): Light beer similar to white wine, pairs well with oysters.
- Black Beer (880 yen): Surprisingly made with oysters and oyster shells, with a good bitterness and richness.
- Freshly Squeezed Mandarin Sour (530 yen): Lacks acidity compared to orange, a bit underwhelming.
- Today's Cloudy Sake (2 Gorillas, 500 yen): Sweet and enjoyable, featuring two gorillas on the package. Overall, the taste is decent, and the value for money is average. Probably won't come back. Thank you for the meal.
