The vinegar rice sushi is unusual! I think it was around 2500 yen for omakase sushi. It's located in a station building, so it's easy to pop in and there's usually no line, so I use it often. However, many of the older waitstaff forget to bring tea, forget the hot towels, and the checkout process takes quite a bit of time. The pace is a bit slow for a station building, so it may not be suitable for those in a hurry.

It is located on the 6th floor of Atre. The restaurant is spacious. The first dish consisted of red clam, tuna, yellowtail, and sea bream, with large pieces of fish on top of the rice. It also came with clear soup that was delicious. The ginger was not artificially colored and tasted great. The second dish included medium fatty tuna, golden cuttlefish, raw shrimp, conger eel, and a rolled omelet. The rice was tasty, the fish was delicious, and I finished everything. Thank you for the meal.

I jumped into the restaurant on Christmas night. I had to come to Ebisu for some errands, but everything is crowded because it's a sunny day. I had been to a shop on Keiyo Street before, so I introduced this shop to my companions. We decided to visit. I ordered a set of 10 pieces of sushi and rolls. Just like the shop on Keiyo Street, the orange juice here is obviously not 100% juice. The side dish was simmered tuna, which was not too strong in flavor but still delicious. I wish I had a bucket full of it. Now, here is the set contents: Bluefin tuna, sea bream marinated in kelp, ark shell, flounder, golden eye snapper, premium fatty tuna, salmon roe, shrimp, lean tuna, conger eel, and wasabi roll. The fatty tuna was rich, the white fish was refreshing, the salmon roe had large grains, and the conger eel was fluffy. The best tuna roll I've ever had. Also, the wasabi roll was a first for me. It was so refreshing and delicious. I also added squid and marinated mackerel. The squid was thick yet tender and melted in my mouth. The marinated mackerel had a thin layer of transparent kelp on top, which was so stylish. And by chance, we were given yokan (sweet bean jelly) at the end. It was incredibly delicious. Made from boiled beans, evenly scattered without sinking, and not overly sweet, I could eat it forever. It was so delicious. It was so tasty...

After 12 o'clock, I ordered the "Shun Nigiri" lunch from Sushi Kyotatsu for 2420 yen. Last time I had the Chirashi Sushi, so this time I opted for Nigiri. The Nigiri set included 8 pieces of sushi, 6 rolls, and miso soup. The Nigiri consisted of "Chutoro," "Hirame," "Aji," "Kampachi," "Sweet Shrimp," "Scallop," "Tuna Red Meat," "Salmon Roe," and "Tekka Maki." The red vinegar rice was quite filling, but the toppings lacked impact and left a weak impression. Just like the Chirashi last time, the vinegar in the rice was too strong, and there was too much of it. The red vinegar rice in the Nigiri set was also too vinegary. It doesn't seem like I will be returning. The bill came to 2420 yen. Thank you for the meal.

After 4:00 PM, I visited Sushi Kyoto Tatsu on the 6th floor of Atre for lunch. There was one customer before me and no customers after me. I ordered the colorful chirashi bowl for 2090 yen from the regular menu. It was served in less than 10 minutes. The toppings included cured mackerel, two pieces of conger eel, squid, shrimp, medium fatty tuna, lean tuna, flounder, two pieces of egg, lotus root, shiitake mushroom, fish cake, and minced chicken. The toppings were small and thin, and there was too much vinegar in the sushi rice. The vinegar in the red vinegar sushi rice was too strong, making it unpleasant to eat on its own. I had high expectations as this sushi restaurant in the station building had good ratings on "Tabelog", but I doubt I will order this chirashi bowl again. Next time, I will try ordering nigiri sushi. The bill came to 2090 yen. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant alone for lunch and tried the "Dream" course and some individual pieces of sushi. I thought I had found a very delicious sushi restaurant. The rice was seasoned perfectly with red vinegar, the fish was beautifully prepared, and the taste was exquisite. I would love to go back again.

It seems like there is a 60m slide at Tsutenkaku now. It costs 1000 yen per ride, but Osaka always has amazing things to do. Today, we visited Sushi Kyotatsu in Ebisu. It is located on the 6th floor of Atre, directly connected to Ebisu Station. The restaurant has a traditional sushi bar atmosphere with counter and table seating. The staff were polite and attentive. We ordered the daily bowl for 2090 yen, as recommended by the outdoor sign. The bowl arrived quickly and was simple in appearance with a limited selection of toppings. The sushi rice was seasoned with red vinegar. The taste was average, nothing outstanding. The miso soup that came with it was light. Overall, the prices were a bit high, but it was nice to have the option of enjoying some drinks with lunch. Thank you for the meal.

Eel skewers → Izakaya → Sushi... Even though my stomach was already full, I really wanted to eat sushi so I made a sudden visit! Luckily, it wasn't crowded so I quickly entered the restaurant! I visited after a long time for lunch. I chose sushi because I was meeting an acquaintance who is going abroad for work at this time of year. Let's see. The counter seemed intimidating, so we sat at a table (lol). Since it was a special occasion, we went for the most expensive option at 5500 yen. Here it comes! Let's dig in! First, we had simmered sea bream. It was quite good. Then the sushi arrived. Huh? The rice was... kind of mushy. The red vinegar was weak too. The toppings were okay. But before that, let's talk about how they placed the dishes on the table. It wasn't done properly. It seemed like they couldn't be bothered, as they didn't place the dishes in front of us. We had to keep pulling them closer. And all the dishes, even the tea. They seemed so unmotivated. I sat diagonally across the table. That's why they kept placing the dishes in front of one person and next to the other person. We were keeping our distance due to COVID, but it felt like they could have just extended their arm a little. The soup was lukewarm. What happened? It was a bit disappointing lunch meeting. I chose this restaurant myself, so I feel bad for my acquaintance.

Today, I suddenly had a craving for sushi, so I came to Kyotatsu in Ebisu since I had plans nearby. It's been a while since I last visited, but the place hasn't changed at all, it's nostalgic. The last time I came was during the 3.11 earthquake... it was scary back then. The sushi here is delicious, worth the price. And of course, I couldn't leave without having some delicious inari sushi. It was the monthly festival, so I also got some inari sushi to take home for the household altar, and they even gave me some extra tamago. I was happy to have a refill of the miso soup, and the fu in the soup was like a cute little ball, which made me excited. As a girl, I get excited about these things. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in Ebisu. Thank you for the meal.

I will grab some sushi to go at "Sushi Kyotatsu" on the 6th floor of the main building of Atre Ebisu, which reopened on 3/13. They are open continuously, located in a convenient station building, with a clean and bright interior. You can enjoy casual drinks and sushi while chatting with the friendly chef across the counter. No reservation is needed and it's usually easy to get a seat, making it a favorite spot. Tonight, I stopped by to check out the reopening, but I couldn't really tell what had changed. When I asked the staff, they said they didn't change much except for renovating a corner of the floor. The only noticeable change was the new floor tiles. Despite the lack of major changes, the place was busier than usual, probably due to the reopening announcement. I sat at the counter and started with some hot sake. The appetizer was boiled firefly squid with seaweed in vinegar miso dressing. Then, I enjoyed some fresh horse mackerel sashimi, white fish sashimi, and a delicious seared monkfish liver. The searing brought out a rich flavor that paired perfectly with sake. Next, I had some delicious bluefin tuna sashimi, both lean and medium fatty cuts. The medium fatty tuna was tender and flavorful, while the lean tuna had a clean taste. The sea urchin was creamy and sweet, with a delightful ocean scent. The salmon roe and salmon roe with soy sauce were both excellent. The ark shell had a satisfying crunch. I finished with a fatty tuna and octopus roll, and a gourd roll, which were both delicious. The sushi rice vinegar used to be strong, but now it's milder and more enjoyable. I'll definitely be back for more delicious sushi. Thank you for the meal!

On December 28, 2019, I revisited this restaurant with my former colleagues for a year-end party. We had some time before the party, so a few of us stopped by for a drink. We started with ice-cold beer for a toast and ordered the following: - Sashimi Platter (2,000 yen): The medium fatty tuna, horse mackerel, and yellowtail were delicious with rich flavors. The horse mackerel had a nice texture, but the medium fatty tuna was just okay. - Shirako (1,500 yen): It was tasty but had a slight raw smell to it. Overall, it was decent. - Ginkgo nuts: They peeled them for us, and they were delicious. - Fresh oysters (800 yen): They were cut nicely for easy eating and tasted great. - Uni Gunkan (800 yen): Uni is always delicious, so we ordered more. - Draft beer (650 yen): I had a few glasses. Beer and seafood are a perfect match and tasted wonderful together. Overall, the food and drinks were enjoyable, although not outstanding. The restaurant is located in a station building, making it convenient to visit. If I have time in Ebisu again, I might stop by.

It is a good option for a quick lunch when you are in a hurry. I visited around 1:30 pm on a weekday during a break. There were various customers dining alone or with companions. Despite that, the restaurant was not crowded, giving it a hidden gem vibe. The lunch menu offers sushi, bowls, and chirashi ranging from around 1,000 yen. Since I was seated at a table, I decided to order a chirashi bowl rather than sushi. As it is a chain sushi restaurant, I didn't have high expectations for the quality of the fish, and it turned out to be decent. The chirashi bowl included slices of white and red fish with flying fish roe, a typical combination. Considering the location in Ebisu station building, the prices were reasonable. Overall, I thought it was a convenient place to dine with good points for its accessibility.

Sushi Kyotatsu Ebisu Store is located on the 6th floor of the convenient Atre building. They have a total of 6 stores including Tokyo Yaesu, Oimachi, Roppongi, and Narita Airport. Despite being in a station building, the restaurant has a high-class atmosphere with a bright and clean interior. It's relatively quiet and we enjoyed a quick meal at the counter. Starting with sashimi, the nigiri sushi was mostly chef's choice and everything we tried was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Sushi restaurant on the top floor of Atre in Ebisu. I went because there were no reviews on LINE Konomi, but honestly, it wasn't delicious. I ordered the Ebisu nigiri, but it was honestly mediocre. To put it bluntly, it was at the level of a sushi restaurant in a department store. I thought the reviews on Tabelog weren't that bad, so I went and regretted it. That's why no one even writes reviews... There won't be a second visit.

Sushi restaurant located on the 6th floor of Atre Ebisu Honten. They operate without reservations and are usually not too crowded, making it a convenient choice when you feel like having sushi at odd hours. The restaurant is bright, clean, and very cozy. The chefs are all friendly and welcoming. We always sit at the counter seats. We ordered a Grapefruit Sour and started with some appetizers. - Pacific saury sashimi (1500 yen): Fresh and fatty, delicious! - Squid salted guts (500 yen): Homemade and goes well with sake. - Grilled sea bream head (1200 yen): A favorite dish, cooked slowly to perfection, juicy and tender. We fought over it with my companion haha. Then we moved on to nigiri sushi: - Medium fatty tuna (600 yen) - Fatty tuna (800 yen) - Salmon roe (600 yen) - White fish (200 yen) - Conger eel (400 yen) - Fatty tuna roll (500 yen) The sushi rice used to be strong in vinegar and salt, but now it's milder and more balanced. I wanted to eat sushi after getting off at Ebisu Station to transfer to Nishi-Azabu. I quickly entered Sushi Kyotatsu, where I had lunch before. It was crowded, but I was seated at the far end of the counter. I ordered a sashimi assortment and a barley shochu. I enjoyed various kinds of sushi, focusing on Kohada. I added the recommended white fish of the day and finished with kanpyo. It's convenient to use when transferring from JR.

After a morning meeting in Ebisu, I wandered around the station during the lunchtime rush and ended up here. I ordered the most reasonable "nigiri" option, and it turns out they serve each piece individually. I was pleasantly surprised to watch the chef prepare the sushi right in front of me. It's quite a good deal to be able to enjoy freshly made sushi for just over a thousand yen. The person next to me was ordering a la carte dishes left and right, so I couldn't resist and ended up adding two more pieces. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to eat seafood bowl, so I visited the restaurant! Around 11:30, the restaurant was about 30% full. When the staff brought me a warm towel and hot tea, I decided to order the "Bara Chirashi" for 1180 yen. The dish arrived in about 3 minutes! It included seared salmon, sea bream, amberjack, sweet shrimp, squid, sayori fish, white fish, tuna, flying fish roe, scallop, egg, cucumber, and mackerel. The fish had a nice firm texture and the flying fish roe added a pleasant popping sensation. Everything tasted fresh! The rice was cooked well, but it was very vinegary rather than sweet and mellow. I wish it had a bit more sweetness. The vinegar rice was the only downside considering how delicious the toppings were. The miso soup with seaweed and fried tofu was served hot. The bowl was filled generously with both rice and toppings, so it was a good value for the price. The staff's service was excellent, they quickly noticed when my tea was running low and promptly brought more. They were very pleasant when I left too. Thank you for the meal!
