This time, I found out that a cold noodle specialty shop will open in Akasaka Mitsuke on December 12th, so I went there immediately. The location is a 2-minute walk from Akasaka Mitsuke Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and Marunouchi Line. It is also a 5-minute walk from Akasaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line. The business hours are from 11:30 to 0:00 on weekdays and Saturdays (last order at 23:30), and closed on Sundays. I went alone around 7 pm. There were many flowers at the entrance, including some from famous people. There is a ticket machine at the entrance where you can place your order. The menu includes the following cold noodle options: Original Cold Noodles (750 yen), Tomato Cold Noodles (1,000 yen), Japanese-style Tororo Cold Noodles (950 yen), Kimchi Cold Noodles with Kujo Negi (950 yen), and Hot Pot Noodles (750 yen). Side menu items include Clam Tsukudani Rice Balls (150 yen), Ooba Leaf Rice Balls (150 yen), and Truffle Edamame (450 yen). On this day, the Clam Tsukudani and Oden (5 types) were sold out. Drinks such as bottled beer, lemon sour, and highball (with cola or ginger ale) are reasonably priced, and soft drinks like oolong tea, bottled cola, and bottled ginger ale are 250 yen each. I ordered the shop's signature dish, the Churun Original Cold Noodles (750 yen). The toppings included pickled plum, watercress, grated daikon radish, Kujo Negi, steamed chicken, and Kakuteki. I opted for the simple Churun Original Cold Noodles without any additional toppings. The seating consists of three counter areas with about 10 seats in total, and one table for four people. I chose a seat at the counter near the entrance. The interior of the restaurant has a clean, modern, and stylish atmosphere. There are vinegar and shichimi pepper available on the counter. There were five customers in the restaurant at the time. I waited for about 10 minutes. The Churun Original Cold Noodles arrived and looked delicious. The appearance was simple and appealing, with a sherbet-like broth in the middle and pickled plum and shiso leaves on top of the noodles. The noodles were chewy, similar to Morioka cold noodles. The taste was delicious. It was slightly delicate and light, with a broth made from beef bones. The noodles were thin and chewy, with a good bounce to them. Adding vinegar enhanced the flavor, making the cold noodles even tastier. The beef bone soup and vinegar matched well, creating a very delicious dish. In conclusion, the cold noodles were very delicious. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.
