I happened to like "Yoshimaru" and after the state of emergency was lifted, I ordered a "Nama Ruby" (draft beer). To my surprise, they were having a campaign where you get a free ticket for the second drink of "Nama Beer, Highball, Lemon Sour" which was a pleasant surprise. So, without worrying about the pace, I enjoyed some "tebasaki" (deep-fried chicken wings) with Kirin Ichiban Shibori (draft beer). Additionally, you can order "Yoshimaru grilled gyoza" starting from 2 pieces, which is a great service. They also provide yuzu pepper which adds a Kyushu flavor to the experience. For dessert, I tried the limited-time menu until 10/31, the "Yoshimaru Curry Tantanmen" with flavored egg topping. The spicy tantan soup with the richness of pork bone and the curry flavor spreading in the mouth was quite enjoyable. Normally, it comes with thin noodles, but since I prefer extra thin noodles, the staff kindly accommodated my request. It comes with a small serving of rice, but I couldn't resist adding some mentaiko (spicy cod roe) to make a "fake mentaiko rice". It was supposed to be eaten by adding it to the soup after finishing the noodles, but I couldn't resist and ate it separately. It was delicious.

At lunchtime, there were about 5 people waiting in line, but the turnover was fast so we didn't have to wait long. It was hot, so I chose the Kabosu-flavored tsukemen for 900 yen, which was refreshing and delicious. The thick noodles in a regular portion were quite filling, and I left feeling satisfied.

The snacks are plentiful, and you can even have shime ramen, making it perfect for a quick drink. The deep-fried baby octopus is rare, right? I love baby octopus, so I'm very happy. I forgot to take a photo of the motsu stew, which is different from the usual motsu stew. It's based on the ramen leftover sauce, perfect for accompanying shochu highballs. The freshly fried Baby Star snacks at the restaurant are delicious too. If you want to eat and drink cheaply again, let's go. Thank you for the meal!

After a standing party, I wanted something cold as a closer, so I ordered chilled Agodashi Chinese noodles. The ingredients were quite voluminous and the soup was refreshing with ice cubes. The soup had a clear taste of Agodashi and chicken broth base, and the noodles were thin enough to blend well with the soup and ingredients. I enjoyed it until the end.

After drinking, I felt like having a quick bowl of ramen, so I headed to Minamiguchi. It was late, but it was still quite crowded, managed to secure a seat just in time. I had the most basic Hakata ramen, which was pleasantly unremarkable. Just as I had imagined. However, after drinking, this was just right.

I wanted to eat miso ramen, but there are no ramen shops around here, so I decided to go with the barley miso ramen at Yumaru. It was surprisingly delicious with cabbage and bean sprouts, not too sweet. I usually don't like sweet miso ramen, but I enjoyed this one. However, I was already in the mood for tonkotsu ramen, so I ended up ordering extra noodles with thin noodles. The texture of the thin noodles was just right. They have a great selection of menu items for drinking at night, so I want to come back in the evening. I ended up feeling not just full, but actually uncomfortable (>_<) Thank you for the meal!

After work, I had a quick ramen. I think it was my third visit. The last time I ate here drunk, it didn't taste good at all. Today, I'm sober for the first time, so let's dig in! The alcohol and snacks selection here is surprisingly extensive for a ramen shop, and the ramen menu is also diverse. I hesitated but ended up choosing the wonton noodles (I love wontons). Oh, this is actually delicious. What was I thinking when I ate here drunk?! I guess eating ramen while drunk is a bad idea. It's not the kind of place I'd go to for delicious ramen on my day off, but it's good for a quick meal after work or for lunch. I'm currently on a rebound from dieting, but of course I got an extra serving of noodles. A light tonkotsu ramen. The pork bone smell is subtle and not overpowering, making it easy to eat. The wontons had a slight unique taste but were delicious. Thanks for the meal!

At lunchtime, many visiting salarymen are enjoying Hakata ramen here, but I stayed true to my initial plan and ordered the barley miso ramen. The gentle aroma of barley miso, combined with a rich flavor, made the soup a perfect match. The noodles were slightly yellow and chewy. The toppings included simmered pork, cabbage, and bean sprouts. It was delicious!

I visited for lunch on a regular day. It was crowded during lunchtime, but I was able to get in without waiting. I ordered the Yumaru Ramen with wood ear mushroom topping (990 yen). It was delicious! The counter seats were a bit cramped, but the table seats seemed spacious enough for two or more people.

Personally, when it comes to Yumaru, I like the "Tonkotsu Tantanmen" the most. I used to come here often, but it's been a while since my last visit. I ordered the familiar "Tonkotsu Tantanmen," but a few minutes later, the staff informed me that they had run out of some ingredients for the soup and couldn't make it today. What a bummer. Since I was already seated in the restaurant, I didn't want to just leave, so I quickly ordered the "Iwata Nori Shio Tonkotsu" instead. I had seen it on the menu and was curious to try it. As I was waiting, a spider about 1cm in size appeared on the table. I was startled, but the spider suddenly jumped and landed on the floor, where the staff promptly stepped on it. I commented on the spider, and the staff responded with a laugh. Shortly after, the "Iwata Nori Shio Tonkotsu" was served. It had a strong seaweed and salt flavor, which was interesting, but I personally would have preferred soy sauce or miso. Then, the staff offered me a complimentary seasoned egg. It was a nice gesture considering the sold-out item and the spider incident. I appreciated it. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the restaurant around 1 PM on a holiday. About 90% of the seats were taken. Water was served promptly, and my order was taken quickly as well. I ordered the Yumaru Ramen for 890 yen with an additional topping of wood ear mushrooms for 100 yen. I asked for the noodles to be cooked firm and with extra oil. I also ordered an extra serving of noodles for 100 yen. The ramen was served quickly without much of a wait. The soup looked rich but was surprisingly easy to drink. The noodles were thin and it was a standard tonkotsu ramen. It was neither amazing nor terrible, but I enjoyed it.

I am in Shinagawa. After finishing work, I entered this shop. It was crowded probably because it's a popular place. Since it's a ramen shop with quick turnover, we decided to stay longer as we came here to drink (lol). We ordered sweet potato shochu along with cucumber pickles, chicken tempura, simmered tripe, miso hormone skewers, dumplings, and sesame mackerel. The miso hormone skewers have a gentle elasticity that is enjoyable. They are delicious. The sesame mackerel also has a good seasoning. We finished with ramen. The noodles are chewy and enjoyable with the firmness. The tonkotsu soup is delicious. I want to go to Hakata! Thank you for the feast.

I missed lunch and decided to grab a quick meal after a meeting, so I walked towards the station and spotted Yumaru. I had been to the Tamachi branch before and remembered it being pretty good, so I decided to visit Yumaru again. The menu was extensive and I had a hard time choosing. I went with the Tonkotsu & Barikata with extra chili oil. I ordered an extra serving of noodles and for my second bowl, I added sesame, garlic chips, and pickled ginger for a different flavor. I resisted getting rice... It was delicious, thank you!

I am in Shinagawa. It's cold. To warm up on a cold night, I came here for ramen. I've been to the Otemachi branch of Tamura before, but the menu is slightly different here. I ordered the regular tonkotsu ramen with firm noodles. The soup is delicious. It has green onions in it. Toppings include white sesame seeds and pickled ginger. It's delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I visited Tokyo for an event and decided to have lunch before it at a place called "Yumaru Ramen." This was my first time getting off at the east side of Shinagawa Station. I originally planned to go to a noodle shop affiliated with this one, but it was closed. I had the "Yumaru Ramen," which came with a boiled egg and seaweed, making it quite luxurious. I also ordered an extra serving of noodles. It was delicious. Now, it's time for the event.

Curry tantanmen / ¥980
Pickled mustard greens rice set / ¥100
It tastes somewhat like Vermont curry. It's spicy and makes you sweat after eating. Recommended for those who like spicy food, with the spiciness of white leeks added. The noodles are thin and straight, similar to tonkotsu ramen. There are no pickled mustard greens on the table, so you have to make do with the pickled mustard greens rice. The rice was disappointing in some parts as it was clumpy. However, the cost performance is still at the lowest level.

After eating motsu-yaki, my friend said they were still hungry because there were no carbohydrates in the course, so we stopped by this ramen shop on the way home. It's a chain store, so there was a sense of security as we've seen it in various places before, so we decided to go in. It is located on the 3rd floor of a building right near Shinagawa Station. It seems that another store of the same chain is also located in the same building. Already full from the motsu-yaki and enjoying plenty of alcohol, I only ordered the Yumaru Ramen for 870 yen. When asked about the firmness of the noodles, I ordered them firm, but when the ramen arrived, I took a sip of the soup and it was delicious♥️ I moved my chopsticks to the noodles, took a bite, and thought, huh⁉️⁉️⁉️ Are these noodles really firm? My friend's noodles seemed normal, so maybe I got it wrong. Even if I had ordered them normal, they felt quite soft to me. I was a bit disappointed as I had imagined firm noodles. The restaurant wasn't that crowded, but the staff seemed a bit flustered and busy. I added the red ginger on the table, and the ramen became colorful and looked very delicious, and indeed it was tasty, but the noodles were the only disappointing part of the meal. The menu had a good variety of alcohol and snacks, so you could have a drink and snack while enjoying a quick ramen to finish off the meal. Thank you for the meal.

On the second day in Tokyo, I moved from Sumida Ward to Shinagawa. I found a ramen shop near the destination surrounded by buildings where I could eat quickly. I ordered with firm noodles and it came quickly, which was good. I can't provide a detailed review of the ramen, but whether it was delicious or not remains unknown.

I visited the Yumaru Shinagawa Konan store because the restaurant I wanted to go to was closed. I ordered the Chashu Bowl Set (920 yen) and an extra serving of noodles (100 yen). The ramen had a true Hakata ramen flavor with delicious green onions that added a nice touch. The chashu bowl had flavorful chashu slices. However, the rice was a bit sticky, and the ramen was not very hot, which made it lukewarm by the time I had the extra serving of noodles.

Mocking noodles (950 yen) with extra noodles (100 yen) [Soup] The soup is a pork bone broth with a spicy kick from chili peppers and a hint of yuzu pepper. [Noodles] The noodles are typical for a pork bone ramen. The char siu and seaweed toppings complement the soup and noodles well, but overall, I felt the satisfaction didn't quite match the price. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the soup, so if I come back, I would like to try something else. Thank you for the meal.
