I saw it on Instagram and as a monjayaki lover, I definitely wanted to try Tsukiji Croquette. The timing was good and I was able to buy one easily as there was only one group in front of me. I chose the Mentaiko Monjayaki Croquette (¥500) and it was delicious. The croquette was crispy, with plenty of mentaiko sauce, and the inside monjayaki was creamy. It was so good that I want to try a different one next time.

- Mentaiko Monja Croquette: 500 yen including tax. On a holiday afternoon, I came to Tsukiji to eat seafood bowls since morning. It was already my second round, and I was just wandering around when I spotted this Tsukiji Croquette stand. It may look crowded, but the turnover is fast so you'll get your order quickly ❤ I took a bite, and to my surprise, the filling inside is creamy mentaiko! I love mentaiko! Having mentaiko inside a croquette is super exciting! The croquette is hot, but the cold mentaiko mayo sauce on top creates a delightful temperature contrast ❤ The size of one croquette is not too big, so you can easily eat it while waiting for your turn. This creamy mentaiko croquette is incredibly delicious, and the mentaiko mayo sauce goes really well with it! It's perfect for eating while walking around! As a unique date idea for a Tsukiji food adventure with your loved one, definitely give it a try ❤

The croquette, which is a favorite, is combined with mentaiko sauce, and just by looking at it, you can feel happy. When you eat it, you'll be like "Oh, this is so good!" The croquette itself has a rich flavor, and the mentaiko is salty, so be sure to have a drink ready.

On a holiday morning at 9 am, Tsukiji is surprisingly bustling. Walking around and eating is the essence of Tsukiji. I discovered something called Tsukiji croquette - a croquette with monjayaki inside, topped with mentaiko sauce. The flavor and saltiness are off the charts. It's also nice that it's not too crowded. Well then, let's go on a food journey in Tsukiji. Thank you for the meal!

A mysterious croquette like a cream croquette, but more gooey. Be careful when eating it hot and gooey. Don't expect a crispy texture like in okonomiyaki, but the unique match with okonomiyaki is interesting. It's easy to eat on the go, which is good.

Visit date: July 9, 2023 (Sunday) Fourth stop for food hopping in Tsukiji! I found a long line snaking in front of a shop and discovered it was a croquette shop! Although I was initially hesitant, I couldn't find any other notable fried food shops nearby, and I was intrigued by the unfamiliar food, so I decided to line up and try it! The menu items that caught my eye were:
- Croquette with plenty of bonito flakes topping - 400 yen
- Mentaiko (spicy cod roe) croquette - 500 yen
- Kimchi croquette
- Seafood croquette with 550 yen
I was torn between the classic croquette and the mentaiko croquette, but I was drawn to the color impact and chose the mentaiko croquette! The mentaiko croquette was generously topped with sauce. When I took a bite, it was piping hot, and the flavor of the mentaiko sauce was surprisingly strong compared to the croquette! Despite the strong seasoning, the gentle Japanese taste of the seaweed sprinkled on top was comforting. Although it was called a croquette, it did not contain potatoes; instead, the creamy monjayaki was inside the fried coating. I thought that strong flavors make you thirsty, so I ate it quickly (laughs). When I ate it vertically, the latter half was filled with plenty of monjayaki and still piping hot!
The seafood croquette my companion bought had a topping of grilled seafood mix. When eaten with the monjayaki, the taste of the monjayaki became apparent! With the mentaiko, the flavor was so strong that it felt like a different dish. I realized that the Japanese-style seasoning would go well with bonito flakes. I was delighted to be able to eat the unique taste of the downtown monjayaki croquette, served piping hot! Thank you for the meal!

I went to the popular Tsukiji Croquette in Tsukiji! It has a unique taste with a monjayaki-like texture, but it was incredibly delicious! I tried the Tsukiji Monja Croquette and the Mentaiko Monja Croquette, and because they were freshly made, the crispy texture was excellent! Also, there was a long line, so a bit of patience may be required (lol).

You can enjoy various flavors of monjayaki croquettes here, which are served hot so be careful when eating. The freshly squeezed lemon sour has lemon zest in it, giving it a nice aroma and pairs perfectly with the croquettes. They also offer kimchi and seafood options, which I would like to try as well.

On Saturday morning at 9 o'clock, I strolled around Tsukiji Market. It was quite lively with tourists around. For breakfast, I had a Tsukiji croquette and a lemon sour to fill my stomach. It cost exactly 1000 yen. The croquette was hot and gooey inside, making it a bit difficult to eat. Not suitable for eating on the go. Across the street, there is a resting place where you can sit and enjoy your meal. I recommend taking a break there to eat in peace.

The store seemed to open at 9:30, but it actually opened around 9:10 with about 10 people already in line. The line moved quickly and we were able to buy our food in less than 5 minutes. They accept payment through PayPay and credit cards, which is convenient. I got the mentaiko monjayaki croquette, while my friend got the Tsukiji monjayaki croquette (the standard one). It's more like a curry bread than a croquette, with monjayaki inside. The flavors are quite strong, especially the salty mentaiko sauce. I ended up needing water. My friend had a hard time eating the Tsukiji monjayaki croquette with the bonito flakes topping flying everywhere. It's a unique food that's worth trying once, but sharing it with someone might be a good idea.

Visited a shop I was interested in on Instagram. Ordered mentaiko and seafood monjayaki. It was delicious, although some might question whether it's more like a croquette. It's perfect for food hopping and being able to drink bottled beer is a great bonus.

The croquette was filled with a gooey monja stew instead of potato, and I ordered the seafood version. The croquette was so hot that I had to use a napkin as insulation to hold it. The seafood on top was delicious with a flavorful broth. The only downside was that the seafood on top was too watery, so it didn't mix well with the crispy croquette. If you prefer a crispy croquette, I recommend choosing the mentaiko or regular sauce options instead.

When searching for places to eat while walking around Tsukiji, this shop always comes up! Luckily, there was no waiting time and I was able to eat right away! I ordered the mentaiko monja croquette. The mentaiko sauce on top paired well with the hot monja inside, making it incredibly delicious! The inside was very hot, so be careful of burns and spills.

"Tukiji Croquette" is a shop in Tukiji where there is always a long line, offering a unique concept of croquettes with monjayaki instead of potatoes. The popular mentaiko monja croquette has a crispy outer layer and a hot monja filling inside. The thick mentaiko sauce goes well with the monja and the outer layer. The taste and idea were both interesting and delicious.

Mentaiko Monja Croquette (500 yen) A new sensation croquette from Tsukiji‼️ It has a crispy outer layer and a hot and melty monja with plenty of cabbage inside. It goes perfectly with the rich mentaiko sauce ❤️ Mentaiko lovers must try it ❤️ There are four flavors available: Tsukiji Monja Croquette, Mentaiko Monja Croquette, Kimchi Monja Croquette, and Seafood Monja Croquette. At first, I was wondering what monja croquette was, but after trying it, I was convinced. It offers a completely different taste experience from regular croquettes! This menu item is probably not available elsewhere, so if you come to Tsukiji, be sure to try it‼️

The food was surprisingly delicious. The appearance is impressive and there is a lot of sauce, making it slightly salty, but the Monja croquette is so tasty that it's all good. There was no line at all, so you should definitely try it!

When I searched for gourmet food in Tsukiji, I came across this Tsukiji croquette in various media. I thought I had to try it, so I decided to make it my first meal in Tsukiji. The appearance was nice, and since I love mentaiko, I ordered it. I didn't know that there was monjayaki inside, so I was surprised when I took a bite. It's not just a regular croquette! And it's really delicious...!! If you go to Tsukiji, I recommend trying this dish. It's always crowded, but the turnover is good, so it didn't feel as crowded as it looks.

This shop is located in Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. There is a crowd gathering around the area where there are several tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) shops in Tsukiji... But it's not a line for tamagoyaki. It's actually for monjayaki croquettes! While we know the taste of monjayaki and croquettes separately, what would monjayaki croquettes taste like? There's only one way to find out - by eating them! The hot anko (sweet red bean paste) inside the monjayaki is extremely delicious. The sauce is light in flavor. There is a lot of bonito flakes, and depending on the wind, you might end up covered in bonito flakes.

I ordered the mentaiko monjayaki croquette. There was a line in front of the shop, but it moves quickly so I was able to purchase it soon. The outside is crispy, and when you take a bite, hot monjayaki overflows from the inside. The mentaiko sauce was also plentiful and delicious.

This is not just an ordinary croquette, it's a hot and gooey Monja Croquette! When you take a bite, you can enjoy the aroma of the finely shaved bonito flakes, and the hot Monja-yaki overflows from the inside! The filling is mainly cabbage and it's gooey and delicious. The sauce flavor is just right and goes well with the croquette coating. It's a bit pricey at 400 yen, but could this become a new specialty at Tsukiji Market?
