During the state of emergency, the restaurant was not open, so it was a rare treat to visit Yaneura. Now they only offer one course instead of a la carte. We informed them of any dietary restrictions in advance and went with our family. For drinks, my wife and I had Bay Bridge Chardonnay x4 (600 yen each), while our daughter had two carbonated waters (200 yen each). The dishes that came out included sashimi (bonito, scallop, abalone, etc.), high-quality Nagoya Cochin chicken salad with delicious dressing, delicious Shimane-produced black porgy, omelet with beef tendon sauce, refreshing pickled turnip from Seigoin Temple, tasty deep-fried taro and shrimp, lotus root and shrimp sandwiched and deep-fried, delicious roast of domestic beef lamp, and tasty simmered clams with noodles. The quality of this course for 3000 yen (excluding tax) is unbelievable. It's amazing. Even though it's only one course now, it's no wonder they are always fully booked. When we mentioned it was my wife's birthday, they even prepared a cake for us. The shortcake, sweet potato Mont Blanc, nougat glace, and sorbet were all delicious. The sponge cake and whipped cream were of very high quality. It was all so delicious.

I have lost count of how many times I have been to this restaurant, but I have never written a review before. I used to love sitting at the counter near the kitchen, chatting with the staff, but unfortunately, they no longer use that seating area, probably due to the pandemic. I used to enjoy exploring the à la carte menu and trying new dishes, but now they only offer set courses due to the pandemic. The course I had was only 3000 yen, which is surprisingly affordable. It consisted of 6 dishes, all of which were delicious. The salad dressing was particularly outstanding, with a savory anchovy flavor that made me want to buy a bottle of it. The pizza, pasta, and rice dish were all excellent as well. This restaurant has become quite popular recently, so it's harder to get a table, but I still love it and would even consider moving to the neighborhood just to be closer to it.

The course seems to be 3500 yen. It included a salad with bonito, fluffy cream cheese and French bread, salted mapo shrimp mayo omelette, a meat dish (pork), and possibly pizza. The portions were generous, but you can take the leftovers home. Everything was delicious, especially the cream cheese and shrimp mayo! The vintage-style interior was stylish and had a cozy, hidden gem vibe. This is definitely a great deal for 3500 yen!

This day was Yanewra's day off, but they rented the space on the first floor of Gyoza Jojo to operate. The chef and service staff were from Yanewra. They incorporated both Japanese, Western, and Chinese elements without one overpowering the other, creating a well-balanced selection of creative dishes. The chef's skill and love for cooking were evident in the meticulous preparation. Salad: A leafy salad with scallops, cherry tomatoes, and garlic chips. The scallops were fresh, and the homemade dressing complemented the salad well. Bread and cream cheese: The bread was delicious, and the cream cheese was light and creamy with a perfect balance of saltiness and sweetness from honey. Mapo tofu: A unique blend of Japanese and Western flavors in this mapo tofu dish. It had just the right amount of spiciness and a delightful aroma of chives. Shrimp with mayonnaise sauce: Succulent shrimp topped with a Chinese-style mayo sauce. The shrimp was plentiful and had a nice firm texture. The mayo sauce was well-balanced and delicious. Omelette: A soft and creamy omelette drizzled with truffle oil and beef stew sauce. The beef was tender, and the truffle oil added a rich aroma. Two types of dumplings: Pork-based dumplings with cilantro and sakura shrimp. The dumplings were already flavorful and enjoyable even without additional seasoning. Cold noodles: Chewy cold noodles in a sesame-based soup with plenty of herbs. The noodles had a nice texture, but a bit more dashi flavor might enhance the dish. Overall, the restaurant had a stylish and clean interior with excellent service. The staff were friendly and made the dining experience enjoyable. The delicious food, reasonable prices, and great service make it a place worth revisiting.

They now only offer a 3,000 yen course menu, which was a bit disappointing as we used to often order the paella. However, the quality of this course meal was excellent. We definitely want to revisit this restaurant soon without waiting too long.

This is a hidden gem izakaya near Kuramae Station. It was my second visit, and I made a reservation for a drinking party with two female colleagues. "Yaneura" has a cozy atmosphere, with hammocks hanging and a comfortable, attic-like interior. The staff, especially the girls, were very friendly, making it a pleasant place to be. We ordered the following menu items: fluffy cheese with baguette, cheese potato salad, simmered beef tendon, white wine steamed mussels, roast beef, and more. Every dish was delicious, and it made us want to keep drinking. We had several drinks like draft beer, sweet potato shochu highball, and forgot how many we had. The drink menu also had a variety of wines and cocktails. We had a great meal once again! Thank you for the delicious food!

I am a big fan of Yaneura, located between Asakusabashi and Kuramae.

I called to make a reservation at Yaneura-san but got rejected, so I came back for revenge! The food was delicious as expected. It's hard to find on the second floor, but there were so many dishes I missed out on last time, so I will definitely come back again!

Located right between Kuramae Station and Asakusabashi Station, this shop faces a main street, making it convenient to access from either station. The interior is not very spacious, but they have a projector playing movies. The menu changes every time I visit, offering a variety of dishes from different genres, making it enjoyable to dine there. The prices are reasonable and there are so many menu options to choose from that it can be overwhelming. In particular, the tuna cheek steak was tender, juicy, and satisfying to eat.

With a friend from university, we decided to try out a restaurant near my house that we had been wanting to visit. We were able to go on a whim when our work schedules aligned. Since it was late, we were able to get a table easily. The fluffy cream cheese was sweet and delicious, the Niçoise salad was generous and great value for money, the raw ham yukhoe was tasty, and the buttered hatsu was outstanding! The draft beer was surprisingly delicious. I would like to come back again when I have more time. Thank you for the meal!
