如月 来夏
I have used this bakery for takeout a few times when transferring at Akabane Station. This time, I decided to eat in for breakfast, so I ordered everything at once. Even on a Saturday evening, the bakery had a good stock of bread, and even on an early Sunday morning (they open at 7 am!), the bread selection was still plentiful. The seating area in the back is spacious, with options like counter seats, sofa seats, and regular table seats. The background music is at a comfortable volume and doesn't disturb your work or thoughts. Despite the scorching heat outside, the air conditioning inside the bakery was really cold, and I even thought about asking the staff to adjust the temperature. The service is not intrusive but also not neglectful, making it convenient for those who want to stay longer. I found it perfect for reading, but the cold air made it a bit uncomfortable. In the past, I have tried croissants, a croissant recommended by a TV show, freshly baked croissants brought by the staff, and Danish pastries for a quick snack. The caramelized croissant was delicious, the croissant was average, and the Danish pastry was versatile due to its neutral flavor. In July, they had a peach-themed selection, and I tried a peach cream bun, a paprika and mushroom quiche, a butter chicken curry, and an orange tea scone for takeout. For dining in, I had a Tottori red bean bun and a Monte Cristo sandwich. The quiche with paprika was more like a savory pudding in a paprika shell, and the peach cream bun had a subtle peach flavor. The butter chicken curry would be better with naan, and the scone had a nice tea flavor. Overall, the bakery has a good atmosphere for relaxing, but the prices are on the higher side, with most bread items ranging from the 200 to 300 yen range. The fruit sandwich was over 1,000 yen. Despite the prices, the bakery offers a comfortable environment, and it has one of the largest floor areas in the Ecute shopping area.
