Got off at Harajuku Station. Immediately entered a hamburger chain store at the entrance of Takeshita Street, which had a casual design catering to young people. The always crowded McDonald's.

May 2018, before 10 am on a holiday, I visited for breakfast. The spot where the Evangelion Store in Harajuku used to be was now a temporary shop, and a shop selling goods related to a mobile game I play was opening soon. So, I had breakfast at McDonald's. (Prices include 8% consumption tax)
Ordered: Sausage Egg McMuffin Set ¥470 with Chicken McNuggets as a side. Tried the limited-time mischievous creamy cheese sauce with the nuggets.

April 20, 2020, Update: Due to the government's emergency declaration, all McDonald's stores in Tokyo have suspended the use of indoor seating for the entire day. This was because poor ventilation inside, and the need to remove masks while eating, posed risks. While it may have been better to immediately stop indoor seating at busy McDonald's stores when the emergency was declared, this particular store in Harajuku, with its urban design and location, was suitable for dine-in. It's unfortunate that seating is unavailable, but it may be necessary until the situation improves. Cold McDonald's fries for takeout always end up hard and bitter, why is that?
