The tea I purchased this time was from Sikkim, Temi Tea Estate. It's a relatively obscure region, and I couldn't find it at my usual tea shop or online without a significant price markup. This is the second store from the one in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa. The staff are very attentive and there are many of them in the small store, which shows their dedication. I was recommended the "Garden of Tea Aroma" for 432 yen, which is a refreshing and elegant tea made from fragrant rose hips. I had to wait 5 minutes for the extraction, but it was worth it for the delightful tea.

I visited around 13:30 on a regular day. This restaurant, which opened early in a brand new shiny building, is here. They also offer takeout, so on this hot day where everything is melting, I chose an iced tea. They have countless options for hot tea, but for iced tea, they have 9 varieties. I tried the "Summer Arrangement Tea" for 648 yen, which had Cordial Orange and Pear toppings on top, perfect for a refreshing change. It is already sweetened. The pear is actually a compote made from tea leaves. Whether you can feel the sunshine days or not, it is fruity and refreshing. The sweetness is mild, and it would be a good companion for lunch, especially with bread (City Bakery is opening next door too). The staff explained everything carefully, and I think tea lovers will enjoy chatting with them. They also have lovely goods other than tea leaves. My tea leaves from overseas are running out, so I need to buy some in Japan. It's expensive to buy in Japan, but I'll consider buying tea leaves from here.
