I was led to the counter on the 1st floor. A young master and two ladies welcomed me from behind the counter. I sat between regular customers. In front of me, there was a pot of oden. Oden at a bar. The depth of Narimasu. And here it comes. The baptism of Narimasu. Karaoke! The gentlemen on both sides started singing '70s and '80s J-pop and folk songs enthusiastically. It was not a quiet sophisticated bar. It was a karaoke bar where locals come to relax. Now, let's have some oden. Oh, the daikon radish is huge. It must be difficult to infuse flavor into such a large daikon. Oh, the beef tendon is delicious. The konjac is also thick. All the ingredients in the oden pot look delicious. The songs kept coming one after another. As someone who doesn't sing, I had to endure the waiting time. Everyone seems to be enjoying singing. They had ordered a Margherita pizza. According to the master, the cheese, sauce, and dough are all homemade. That's amazing! And... it's delicious! This is a special pizza. It's a masterpiece by the master. Of course, they probably have high-quality whiskey and cocktails as well, but just for this pizza alone, it's worth a visit. This is one of the top pizzas in Itabashi. In terms of balance, it was a place where singing was the main focus. But even if you don't sing, it might be worth coming here just for this pizza, although it may take some courage. Tonight, I was taken to the Narimasu area by my senior and we visited Ambassador Bar, which has been in business for 65 years. It used to be a high-class establishment, but recently they have changed to more affordable pricing. It seems like they have been operating in the same location for 65 years, and I wonder if it's now run by the second generation. Even though it's a bar, they have a great selection of food menu, with the master who used to be a chef showcasing his skills. There are two unique women behind the counter, who are friendly and attentive. My senior ordered the 17-year-old Hakushu on the rocks, and it was delicious! Keeping a bottle of Hakushu 17-year-old costs around 17,000 yen. The homemade raisin butter made by the master pairs well with whiskey! It's a cozy old bar that you can easily drop by. I definitely want to visit again!
