I visited the main store of Yakiton Gyotomo Akabane, which was really great just like the second store. While the second store focuses on meat dishes, the main store specializes in seafood. I learned that the second store opened in the former location of "Hachioki" and I grew to like the restaurant even more. I tried various dishes, and the freshness of the sashimi was outstanding. The presentation and attention to detail in the dishes were amazing. The sashimi platter was delicious, and the blackthroat seaperch was firm and excellent. The stone flounder was incredibly tasty. The beef tataki had a generous portion and was very satisfying. The grilled tuna belly with green chili soy sauce was also delicious. In short, everything I ate was delicious. I was looking forward to trying the tuna head, which I saw in other reviews, but unfortunately, it was not available today. I will have to come back for it next time! In terms of negatives, there were a few instances of forgotten orders, and as the weather gets colder, it may be uncomfortable as the sliding doors move when people come in and out, letting in a draft. P.S. The restaurant is non-smoking, so it is child-friendly, and the staff's service is lovely, making it a pleasant dining experience.

Located in the lively district of Akabane. It was Friday night and the restaurant was packed. We had an assortment of 8 types of sashimi and fried taro root. The sashimi mainly consisted of white fish, some of which were not commonly eaten, but they were delicious. You can order sake starting from half a cup. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

At a drinking session with work colleagues where we shared updates, we started with "Edamame" before the appetizers. I wanted something crunchy and green, so I ordered "Grilled asparagus." Even though it's a fish-focused restaurant, I always get this: "Homemade bacon seared for tomorrow." The sashimi platter with fresh oysters is a must-have. The "Seared tuna belly with green chili soy sauce" is different from salmon belly and delicious. I always end up ordering the "Grilled oil-fried tofu" even though I'm not a fan of potatoes, the "Fried potatoes with salted cod roe" was surprisingly tasty. For dessert, we had "Smoked cheese with smoked herring." This place always makes me crave fish, even before the pandemic. I visited this restaurant in Akabane for a daytime drink, and it was surprisingly good! Even though the reviews on Tabelog were not very high, I found the food to be delicious. Especially the tuna sashimi was amazing, with a rich and juicy flavor that went well with wasabi soy sauce or seaweed salt. The spicy grilled crab meat was also delicious and went perfectly with drinks. Although it's a bit pricey at 790 yen, the portion size was good. I didn't have much space in my stomach as it was my second stop, but I definitely want to try more dishes next time, maybe as my first stop. There is another restaurant called Yakiton Sakana Tomo nearby which is part of the same group, and I'm curious to try that as well. I will definitely revisit when I'm in Akabane again!

I went for a daytime drink in Akabane! The place I was planning to go to was closed until 5 pm, so I found another place that was open from 3 pm! I started with a cloudy sake from Saitama, which was sweet and delicious. Then I tried Dassai and another brand of sake. The sashimi was fresh, with flounder and sandfish. I also ordered simmered fish at the counter, which included dried horse mackerel and grilled yam. Everything was delicious!

When I used to work in Akabane, I found this seafood robatayaki restaurant that I kept going back to the most among all the places I visited for drinks in Akabane! I didn't take many photos, but the fresh oysters here are really delicious, and the sashimi platter is amazing! The quality of the fish is excellent. As it is a robatayaki restaurant, the grilled dishes are also outstanding! The atmosphere is casual, so it's more suitable for a girls' night out or a business dinner rather than a date. They cook a lot of dishes on the grill, so it's better not to wear clothes you don't want to smell like smoke. There are many different types of restaurants in Akabane, including cheap chain restaurants, but if you want to eat delicious fish, I definitely recommend this place! The complimentary dish was a clear soup with a good broth! The sashimi platter had 3 types of fresh fish and 2 pieces of raw egg, priced at 1738 yen. The dashimaki tamago (rolled omelette) was 539 yen, a sweet and fluffy egg dish. The assorted small dishes were priced at 424 yen. Thank you for the meal.

The fish was big and good. The flavor was nice, but personally I found it a bit salty and it made me thirsty. It was crowded so the service was a bit slow, but it was acceptable.

Recommended, the grilled oyster and potato salad chu-hai were delicious! The service was attentive on Sunday around 3 pm.

There are various types of bottles available. It is crowded even on weekdays, and there is a wide variety of delicious seafood snacks! It is a great place for both the first and second rounds, very convenient to use!
