On a rainy day during the rainy season, around noon on Saturday, I went in search of limited edition blueberry pancakes. The restaurant was about 80-90% full. Since I was dining alone, they let me choose between a sofa and the counter. The service was very polite! I love fresh blueberry pancakes during this time of year, but this year it seems like everywhere is serving melon instead. They offered me chilled pancakes instead. The pancakes themselves were not too sweet, with a hint of saltiness. They were fluffy and moist, with a fizzy texture. The cream was not too sweet either. I added sweetness with the ice cream and maple syrup. The fresh blueberries added a refreshing touch. The crispy granola-like topping added a nice flavor and texture contrast. The maple syrup was served in a large container, so I could add more sweetness as needed. There were many foreign tourists, adding to the lively atmosphere. The view of the rainy park was beautiful. It's no wonder this restaurant is part of the Skylark group, as they truly have a strong presence. Despite trying pancakes at various places, I can't help but think that chain restaurants serve the best ones. The food is delicious, the atmosphere and service are great, and I heard they are starting peach pancakes soon. I might just have to visit again this weekend!

"Mushashino Mori Dinner Shinjuku Central Park Store" is located about a 2-minute walk from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, within Shinjuku Central Park. Even though it's not as far as Yoyogi Park, this place is surprisingly open and green, making it hard to believe it's in Shinjuku. With a flowing waterfall and seasonal flowers blooming, there's a refreshing and healing atmosphere with plenty of negative ions. The interior of the restaurant has a casual family restaurant style, but with plenty of natural light and a slightly stylish atmosphere. The terrace seats are dog-friendly, making it a must-visit spot for dog lovers. You can also bring take-out food to the terrace and enjoy it as you wish. I thought about having a light salad, but since the restaurant is part of Skylark, I changed my mind and only ordered the Fresh Fruit Soda (forgot the name). I wasn't a fan of the paper straw, which is a symbol of pseudo-SDGs, for two reasons: it absorbs water quickly and becomes soggy, and it affects the taste. I also didn't like that the fruits were mostly frozen. However, the terrace during this season is so pleasant that I still enjoyed my time there. Thank you for the meal."

There is a restaurant serving breakfast from 7 am, as expected from a Skylark Group restaurant. It's early in the morning! And even though it's past 7 am, there are already a few customers coming in. Everyone is an early riser! I had the fluffy pancakes, as expected. Having fluffy pancakes with plenty of maple syrup early in the morning is the best! (To reduce guilt, I kept it simple with just pancakes.) I ended up relaxing quite a bit, and when I was leaving, there was a line forming. Even though I was alone, I took up a leisurely seat, so I felt a bit sorry...

I wanted to have a little quiet time so I came to this cafe. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are friendly. They have stylish menu items with slightly higher prices. I was a bit concerned that it might be a cafe focused on atmosphere and appearance, but I ordered the lobster bisque and plate set. Surprisingly, the bisque, salad, and whole grain toast were all well-prepared. They use proper tableware which adds to the good impression. It's a bit pricey, but when you consider the atmosphere and location, it's not bad. Unfortunately, for those with limited time during lunch, it may not be the best option, but it could be good for a leisurely visit during off-peak hours.

Today, I ordered a galette, which was quite large! It was hard to find a place where I could eat galettes, so I was very happy about this. It was topped with avocado, eggs, chicken, and other ingredients, so I was very full. I had to skip ordering pancakes because I was so full. The price was a little over 2,000 yen with a premium drink included. I will definitely come back to this place!
