After work, I always find myself heading to Oysters Ink. The box seats are the most relaxing. Lately, it seems like they occasionally have extra-large rock oysters in stock. When they had the Happy Oyster special with the extra-large oysters, I couldn't resist ordering them. Being able to eat such large oysters is unique to Oysters Ink. I highly recommend visiting during the summer.

Six colleagues from work visited this restaurant. The place was about half full with customers. We were seated comfortably at a spacious 8-person table by the wall. We ordered the 3,500 yen course menu with a 1,500 yen all-you-can-drink option, and added three pieces of fresh oysters for around 700 yen during the happy hour, which was half price. The course menu included three oysters, as well as oyster fry, ajillo, grilled oysters, and oyster rice in a clay pot (kaomangai). The oysters were quite large, creamy, and very delicious. The other dishes were also quite good, and we ended up feeling very full. The all-you-can-drink option had a variety of sake and wine that paired well with the oysters. With a cost of around 6,000 yen per person, it was a fantastic value. The staff were busy but still friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again in the future.

First visit. I was interested in this recently opened restaurant. Since they don't serve lunch, it took me a while to finally visit. I climbed the inner staircase facing the Sotoyama Higashi Street and entered the second floor of the restaurant. The interior is very bright, like a family restaurant. The menu is all about oysters. The taste gives off a vibe similar to a family restaurant (just my personal impression). Their homemade Setouchi Cola has a mysterious flavor with a strong ginger taste. It's also yellow in color. The seating was comfortable. The service was bright and friendly, with polite responses. Until 7:00 PM, raw oysters are half price! There were three types of oysters that were half price: with grated daikon radish, with green onions, with stem wasabi, and with ponzu sauce. They also had a version of oysters with the flavors of Khao Man Gai, called "Khao Mangaki." I personally don't like cilantro, so I avoided it, but my friend said it goes really well with cilantro. It might be a bit much for two people to eat together. The roasted oysters also have a rich flavor, so you can eat a lot without getting tired of it.

There is a new oyster bar that just opened. They have a happy hour until 7pm, where some of the oysters are half price. The cheapest ones are 390 yen, so half price is 190 yen. It's almost as cheap as convenience store onigiri, but the oysters are a bit salty and really delicious. Even just the three half price options are enough to eat a lot. They also have oyster fry and roasted oysters, so it's a complete oyster feast. I will definitely go back again.

Despite the period of self-restraint, about a third of the seats were filled. Maybe because alcohol was available? The oysters available during Happy Hour were limited, and the Senhoji oysters I wanted were already sold out. We ordered other oysters, as well as a few recommended dishes from the daily specials and the regular menu. Unfortunately, about half of what we wanted was not available, which was disappointing. We ended up only eating what we could order and left. It may have been due to the current situation that they had a limited menu prepared, but I wish they hadn't listed unavailable items on the menu.
