At a time when the sun has not yet risen, the night sky is still filled with shining stars. I reluctantly got out of bed, rubbing my eyes, eager to start the day. Unable to fall back asleep, I decided to listen to music for a while. Finally, the morning sun shone through the window. The Tokyo Big6 Baseball League has begun. Last year, the spring league was canceled due to the pandemic, but this year, with some restrictions, the excitement of the opening game was unavoidable. After adjusting my schedule and getting ready, I headed to Meiji Jingu Stadium with my friend. Normally, we would enter the cheering section for Hosei University, cheering non-stop without food or drink. However, due to the pandemic, the cheering squad was placed in the outfield seats, and we entered as regular spectators. Fortunately, we could enjoy food and drinks while watching the game. It's a joy to watch the game with a drink in hand at the stadium. This is Meiji Jingu, home of the Yakult Swallows, so I decided to try a drink named after a player. From Kumamoto, a young Swallows slugger from Kyushu Gakuin University, I chose the "Dekopon Sour," and I loved it! I like it more than a Yamada Tetsuto Highball. Spending a holiday like this is so enjoyable. Despite the drawbacks of rainouts, the idea of domed stadiums is understandable. Still, I prefer games under the blue sky - day games and hot summer night games with beer and intense competition. I am a Giants fan, but I truly love Meiji Jingu. The end.
