I went to Jingu Stadium for a Yakult home game!!! I bought a lemonade to enjoy during the match. At first, I thought it might be weak because the color was light, but it had a strong flavor and was delicious. The design of the cup was also lovely!

Tonight, I came to Jingu Stadium. The team I support is not doing well, but enjoying a cold beer on a hot night under the lights is great. I got a Galisour (500 yen) that Tsubakuro negotiated to introduce. The beer stands have no lines after the 7th inning. I tried the Galisour, which is basically "Tsubakuro's soda mixed with ginger," but the ginger flavor was not very strong. I ended up ordering another beer. Thank you for the meal.

Even as more cool dome stadiums are being built, the outdoor stadium of Jingu Stadium remains a valuable presence. It may be hot even at night, but enjoying a cold beer and bento outside is a special experience! Here is a bento from Jingu Stadium. The Jingu Stadium bento costs 1000 yen. The stadium is old-fashioned, so the aisle in front of the shops is narrow. It gets crowded with shoppers before and after the game, making it difficult to pass by. Therefore, it's best to buy your bento before the game starts. Among the various bento options produced by players, I chose the "Jingu Stadium Bento". It's like a bento box with a variety of options, named after the stadium. I grabbed a seat while there was still some space and enjoyed my meal. You can see the players warming up on the field right in front of you, which is one of the great things about Jingu Stadium. I bought a beer from the vendor and watched Murakami, who had a great performance in the WBC, doing his warm-up exercises right in front of me. The bento had a center of rice shaped like the field, with brown minced meat resembling the ground. There were two types of fried food, grilled chicken, and spaghetti. The rolled omelette even had the "Jingu" logo on it. The bento had a variety of items, perfect for snacking. With fried food and meat, it was satisfying and filling. Considering the higher prices of bento boxes in baseball stadiums, this bento was a great value at 1000 yen. It was a well-balanced bento box like an "omakase" bento. Wallet-friendly and satisfying for both the stomach and the soul. After fueling up, it's time to focus on cheering for the team. Let's do our best tonight! GO! GO! SWALLOWS.

Visited the store again on July 1, 2023. Today, I went to Jingu Stadium with a friend who is a Swallows fan to celebrate his birthday by watching the Yakult Swallows vs. Hiroshima Toyo Carp night game. The game started with the Swallows taking the lead in the first inning with Santana's 3-run home run, and it was a pitcher's duel until the middle innings. The Carp's Dohlin hit a timely RBI to close the gap to one run, but the Swallows' pitching held on for the win. My Swallows fan friend seemed satisfied, which was great to see. Today, I purchased two draft beers, Okugawa Kyonobu's Kyoho Sour, highball, Jin Kara, and Morimori Potato. This year, I only watched games at the dome, but outdoor draft beer and alcohol just tasted better. However, I was impressed that Okugawa, who has been out of the game for a while, still had a player menu. Jin Kara was as deliciously tender as ever, and Morimori Potato was... honestly just regular fried potatoes (laughs). I thought I'd like to go to Jingu again this year.

Visited again on October 30, 2022. A friend who is a fan of the Orix team in Osaka got tickets for the 7th game of the 2022 Japan Series, and I never expected it to go to 7 games. The game was a close one just like the rest of the series, and today's game was no exception, with the Orix Buffaloes winning 5-4 to become champions for the first time in 26 years. It was a rare experience to witness the moment of victory. The game was also incredibly fun and exciting! I arrived around 6 pm, and it was quite crowded. I purchased Koshien Kyonshin's Ginger Highball, draft beer, and Jin Kara. Beer is a perfect match for baseball games, and the popular Jin Kara was crispy and delicious. The player menu drink I bought was the Ginger Highball of pitcher Okugawa, who is currently injured. It was a bit cold, so I sipped on it slowly, but it had a good taste even after the carbonation faded. I thought about coming back next year during a heated game to enjoy some drinks. However, since Okugawa will not be pitching next year due to Tommy John surgery, I hope his drink remains on the menu.

This was my first away visit of the season and I had a great time. The game was intense and very enjoyable. The seats were a bit cramped, it would be better if they were a little wider. I ordered a steak bowl without rice and they kindly accepted my order. Thank you very much. We won on the final day of the three-game series and I am very happy. Thank you for the meal.

I always visit Meiji Jingu Stadium for the Tokyo Big6 Baseball League! I usually don't pay much attention because I go to the player support seats, but this time I noticed for the first time that the seats in the upper part of the third base side infield are high and the angle is uncomfortable haha. I love watching baseball games under the blue sky, and day games are my favorite. The beer is delicious too haha. The stadium was full this day! The game was exciting and close. Before the game started, I watched the batting practice and Tsubakuro while eating a bento, and then it was time for some drinks haha. It was Swallows Ladies' Day, and there was a limited edition drink called "Tsubami's First Love Sour" which I tried. I enjoyed drinking various drinks with the famous "Jin Kara" snack. This is how adults spend a good holiday... Everyone should try it out! The end.

On the evening of Tuesday, May 24, 2022, I went to Jingu Stadium for an interleague game. Since it's not a stadium I usually visit, I wandered around. There are various menu items for each player, but out of respect for the veteran player Norichika Aoki, who is still going strong even after turning 40, I decided to try Aoki's Blue Sour (¥600). It tasted like ramune, sweet and with a low alcohol content, but not sticky and refreshing to drink. I hope Aoki continues to play for a long time. Even watching him play defense, his movements and long throws are still solid.

I watched a baseball game at Jingu Stadium and on my way home, I bought a special bento box to enjoy at home. It was the "Captain Yamada Tetsuto 250th Home Run Achievement Bento Box" from the Yakult Swallows. It was called the "Captain Tenshin Rice Bento Box" and cost 1500 yen. The bento box featured various Chinese dishes such as fried noodles, karaage chicken, shrimp chili, chicken nuggets, shumai, spring rolls, fried dumplings, and meatballs. It was a generous portion but each item was bite-sized. The taste was decent and it was perfect to enjoy with a beer. It also came with a special card to commemorate the 250th home run. Overall, it was a bento box that both adults and children could enjoy. Note: Bento boxes sold at stadiums are meant to be consumed on-site, so eating it at home is at your own risk.

Watching baseball at Jingu Stadium. It was my first time at Jingu Stadium this year. I watched the game from the first base side infield seats. On this day, due to the current situation, alcohol sales were not available. Also, the weather was not great, so it wasn't the ideal atmosphere to enjoy stadium food slowly. Therefore, I bought a bento and took it home to eat. The bento I purchased on this day was the delicious Kansai gourmet yakisoba bento (1000 yen). Probably starting this year, they sell bento boxes based on the matchup, and since the opponent on this day was the Hanshin Tigers, it was filled with Kansai specialties. The takoyaki had a dashi flavor. The sauce wasn't too strong, and although it wasn't warm, the taste was not bad. The beef skewers had a crispy coating. The omelet had a sauce flavor, similar to okonomiyaki. The fried rice was decently seasoned but lacked a bit of individual graininess, resembling pilaf. The yakisoba had a strong sauce flavor. There were also a fried egg, beef and burdock root stew, and more. It was a bento box that perfectly showcased Kansai gourmet dishes. A lineup that would go well with beer. Now I'm curious about the matchup-specific menus for other teams. *Please note that bento sold at the stadium should ideally be consumed on-site. Eating it at home is at your own risk.

During my day off, I went to Jingu Stadium to watch a baseball game as the title suggests. My favorite team and player performed well, so my excitement level increased. At times like this, a Ruby is the way to go. I ordered 3 beers for 750 yen each and 2 lemon sours for 650 yen each. Towards the end, I switched to lemon sours for a refreshing taste. It would be even better if the prices were a bit lower.

At a time when the sun has not yet risen, the night sky is still filled with shining stars. I reluctantly got out of bed, rubbing my eyes, eager to start the day. Unable to fall back asleep, I decided to listen to music for a while. Finally, the morning sun shone through the window. The Tokyo Big6 Baseball League has begun. Last year, the spring league was canceled due to the pandemic, but this year, with some restrictions, the excitement of the opening game was unavoidable. After adjusting my schedule and getting ready, I headed to Meiji Jingu Stadium with my friend. Normally, we would enter the cheering section for Hosei University, cheering non-stop without food or drink. However, due to the pandemic, the cheering squad was placed in the outfield seats, and we entered as regular spectators. Fortunately, we could enjoy food and drinks while watching the game. It's a joy to watch the game with a drink in hand at the stadium. This is Meiji Jingu, home of the Yakult Swallows, so I decided to try a drink named after a player. From Kumamoto, a young Swallows slugger from Kyushu Gakuin University, I chose the "Dekopon Sour," and I loved it! I like it more than a Yamada Tetsuto Highball. Spending a holiday like this is so enjoyable. Despite the drawbacks of rainouts, the idea of domed stadiums is understandable. Still, I prefer games under the blue sky - day games and hot summer night games with beer and intense competition. I am a Giants fan, but I truly love Meiji Jingu. The end.

I watched a baseball game at Jingu Stadium. It was the final night game, so it was quite cold and I couldn't drink much beer. I left the stadium food area a little early, but I bought a bento box produced by a player. This time, I bought the Aoki Norichika Meat! Meat! Meat! Sirloin Steak Bento (1400 yen). It's a bento box produced by Norichika Aoki, the captain of the Swallows. I took it home. The Aoki Norichika Meat! Meat! Meat! Sirloin Steak Bento has two types of meat dishes on top of the rice. It includes steak and yakiniku. As the name suggests, the sirloin steak has a powerful presence. The reasonably thick meat is lean and red meat. It has a good texture and decent flavor. It comes with a sauce that you pour over it. The soy sauce-based sauce has a strong punch. The yakiniku has a sweet and savory flavor. It's like a beef bowl, and it goes well with the rice. It also comes with potato salad and corn on the side. It has an American feel, probably because it's from Aoki, who just returned from the Major Leagues. It has a bit of a junk food feel, but the flavors are well-balanced and good. Player-produced items are always interesting. I look forward to next year. Note: Bento boxes sold at the stadium are meant to be eaten there. Eating them at home is at your own risk.

I revisited the restaurant in October 2020 around 19:40 on a weekend while watching baseball. There were two groups of customers already there. This time, I ordered the "Helmet Jin Kara". I paid first and it was prepared shortly after. The Helmet Jin Kara is a dish with a slightly smaller helmet-shaped container. The Karaage was not directly in the helmet but in a paper container. The texture was a bit firm, maybe because it was made in advance and it was cold that day? I kept the helmet as a souvenir of the game. I might have the opportunity to go again next year.

Watching baseball at Jingu Stadium. It's the second half of the game. I decide to change my drink from beer and head to the concession stand. Jingu Stadium offers a variety of player-produced menu items. There are several types of alcohol available. This time, I purchase Murakami Munetaka's Kumamoto specialty Dekopon Sour (600 yen). It's a menu item produced by Murakami, the young cleanup hitter for the Swallows. As a side, I also buy the Jingu Katsu Sandwich, priced at 850 yen. I return to my seat. Murakami Munetaka's Kumamoto specialty Dekopon Sour is a sour made with Dekopon, a specialty of Murakami's hometown of Kumamoto Prefecture. It's sweeter than sour, with a moderate alcohol content. It's more of a sour for women. The Jingu Katsu Sandwich is exactly what it sounds like - a katsu sandwich. It features a thick pork cutlet between slices of bread, lightly breaded and seasoned with sauce. It's very simple, with the cutlet being the star. It's a great snack for watching baseball. The player-produced sour comes in a special cup, which fans will appreciate. I'd like to try all the sours produced by the players.

I watched the 50th Meiji Jingu Baseball Tournament and stayed for over 8 hours, drinking more than 2 liters of beer and one lemon sour. The beer cost 750 yen and the lemon sour was 600 yen. I bought fried chicken, yakisoba, shumai, and sausage from a Sapporo restaurant on Aoyama Street on the way to the stadium, and also bought takoyaki as an additional snack. The beer was delicious, but expensive. Meiji Jingu Stadium allows outside food and drinks, so bringing canned beer is recommended!

Visited the restaurant again on November 10, 2019. I went to Jingu Stadium to support my alma mater in the final of the Tokyo High School Baseball Tournament, just like last year. They were playing against their rival, Teikyo High School. The game was very one-sided, and my alma mater achieved back-to-back championships, almost guaranteeing their spot in the spring tournament. Unlike last year, today did not overlap with the school festival, so there were more spectators compared to Teikyo's side. I ordered a draft beer and a Jin Lemon Sour. I bought them at the concession stand since I was watching the game near left field and there were no vendors nearby. The weather was nice, and with the comfortable lead, I enjoyed the drinks. It was actually my first time trying Jin Lemon Sour, and it was surprisingly refreshing and delicious.

Every time I come to cheer at the Waseda-Keio game, I end up drinking multiple cups of the Jingu Lemon Sour, also known as JinRemo. The staff (probably part-time workers) who make it change each time, so both the process and the taste vary. The common practice is to add ice after pouring in the liquid (probably to avoid complaints about inconsistent sour amounts if ice is added first). However, some people pour in the syrup first, while others add the sour and ice before finally adding ice at the end. Additionally, the syrup is poured from the bottle without measuring, so the sweetness varies. Well, since it's not an izakaya, customers don't really mind the details and just hurry back to their seats to continue cheering. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at Jingu Stadium too early, as college baseball was still going on. Our Giants had clinched the championship the day before at Yokohama Stadium, so there were plenty of championship goods being sold. Of course, I bought some. I also tried my luck with the gachapon machines, and Heavy Shin managed to get all of them, which I think is impressive (but sadly, no Sakamoto). The helmet cups were better than at the dome. The game itself? Well, with the players feeling the effects of the beer celebrations from the night before, it's no wonder they couldn't perform well. And then the heavy rain came, leading to a rain-shortened game! Before the game was called, Yakult's Shimomi player was quite entertaining, so if you're interested, search for "Yakult Shimomi late start." And on this day, we had Yakult's lovable character, Sanrin player, retiring, with the rain creating a unique atmosphere. He gave a spirited farewell salute. Well done, shining Sanrin player! Despite the rain, I watched the ceremony from inside.

In Shinjuku, Tokyo, there is a baseball stadium called Jingu Stadium. The nearest station is Gaienmae on the Tokyo Metro. I purchased tickets at Lawson about two weeks before and visited on a holiday night in September. It was Swallows vs Giants. I had an infield seat, closer to the outfield, but I could still watch the game properly as the stadium felt quite close. The Jingu Stadium specialty, Jin Karaage (fried chicken), was juicy and satisfying. You can also get ice cream. The beer at the stadium is exceptional. Including the ticket price, it was around 5,000 yen, and I was able to fully enjoy baseball watching along with stadium food. Thank you for the meal.
