There are many unique menu items like crepe sushi that you can't find anywhere else, and they were delicious and fun. There is also a terrace which was a pleasant surprise. There were many foreign customers and some seemed confused about the system, but the staff handled it well. If you visit Harajuku, you should definitely try this place at least once.

Kura Sushi Harajuku branch is a great place for a hangover meal. I decided to try out the conveyor belt sushi there, and was surprised to find out that you can actually make reservations in advance. The restaurant is located on the fourth floor of YM Square Harajuku, near Takeshita Street. The atmosphere is very vibrant and lively, fitting for Harajuku. The menu is ordered a la carte, and you can place orders individually through a special lane that delivers the food directly to you. I tried various dishes like Sudachi Buri, Akagai, Maguro, Kura Potato, Kanpyo Maki, Aji, Awabi Nigiri, and Akagai. Overall, the food was affordable and enjoyable. The self-service system, where you pay at the register after pressing a button on the tablet, was convenient. It was a pleasant dining experience at Kura Sushi Harajuku branch.

I went to Kura Sushi for the first time in my life, being a former leader at Sushiro. The Harajuku store was incredibly beautiful! Is Kura Sushi always like this? So stylish! I tried to capture the sushi that arrived with my order in a video, but I failed multiple times. The ones that went to the wrong table passed by at lightning speed! I managed to capture the sea urchin hand roll, so that's good enough. And the highlight here is definitely the crepes. It's been a while since I had crepes! I also tried the Demon Slayer collaboration gachapon four times and won once. The gachapon was fun! However, I think Sushiro's sushi is tastier. Where is everyone's favorite conveyor belt sushi restaurant? Thank you for reading the review. I hope it can be a source of delicious meals for everyone. Your likes and comments are very encouraging!

I came here for the first time. It's been years since I had conveyor belt sushi. I didn't have high expectations, but I enjoyed it. Each plate was only 132 yen, so the toppings were quite thin. I had to wait 25 minutes for the chawanmushi because it was crowded on the weekend. My drink also took over 10 minutes to arrive. But considering the low prices, I was okay with it. The salmon roe was a safe choice and tasted good.

I made a reservation for Saturday at 7:30 PM, but there was a significant crowd and we had to wait about 30 minutes at the entrance before entering. The prices of the items ranged from 132 yen at this urban store. We mainly tried the crepes exclusive to the Harajuku store, and the cream-based ones were quite filling, so be careful. The celebration shrimp, which is only available at some stores, was delicious!

I made a reservation when they were collaborating with Chiikawa. After checking in, I was called in 5-10 minutes. I was able to take photos of Chiikawa while waiting. It seems like they have crepes at the Harajuku store. The staff was making crepes. The interior is very beautiful as it is new.

Kura Sushi, located in Harajuku, Tokyo, has a unique interior theme combining traditional Japanese culture with Tokyo pop culture. The entrance features colorful glowing lanterns, making it a popular spot for photos. Inside, there are ukiyo-e prints inspired by Edo's riverside. The menu includes photogenic items like the "sushi crepe," a two-layer crepe filled with fried rice and toppings, only available here. The fried rice adds a nice touch to the chewy crepe texture. You can choose from "Iberico Pork Kalbi" or "Salmon Cream Cheese." The crepes can also be purchased for takeout, making it convenient to enjoy.

I went to the popular conveyor belt sushi chain, Kura Sushi, which regularly holds campaigns and has many commercials. This time, I visited during the New Year and Crab Fair. The sushi was very fresh with a strong sweetness overall. Despite being a chain restaurant, the quality of the sushi rice and toppings was quite high, and I truly felt the cost performance was great. The sushi was all fresh and easy to eat, without any thawed or left too long ingredients. The restaurant was crowded with many customers, so I recommend making a reservation online, especially during peak hours.

On this day, I went to Harajuku for an event on Takeshita Street after many years. Before that, we decided to have a meal first! My sister, who came with me, experienced conveyor belt sushi for the first time. She had never been to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant before because there isn't one near our hometown. This particular restaurant is the flagship store that has been trending on social media. I thought it would be best to make a reservation in advance due to its location, so we made a reservation and arrived at the restaurant. When we got there, there were already many people waiting. Our number was called a little after our reservation time. My sister, being new to conveyor belt sushi, seemed a bit lost. My daughter and I quickly prepared the tea, wasabi, soy sauce, and other items. My daughter took charge of ordering through the touchscreen. We tried various items, played a game, and had a good time. I wanted to try the crepes, but as usual, they were out of stock. Personally, I still prefer Sushiro or Hamazushi. This restaurant, however, has a good reputation and is worth a visit for its novelty.

¥240 Special steamed egg custard
¥190 Premium salmon and hamachi
¥190 Large leaf enoki mushrooms
¥132 Deep-fried corn
¥132 Sweet shrimp x2
¥132 Seafood salad
¥132 Tamagoyaki
No waiting, seated immediately after check-in. Despite being alone, I was seated at a spacious table!
- Premium salmon and hamachi
Different types of fish served in a set, which was a nice surprise!
- Large leaf enoki mushrooms
Soft and sweet enoki mushrooms with a nice aroma of large leaves.
- Deep-fried corn
Sweet and crispy, delicious. Slightly burnt, but still good.
- Special steamed egg custard
You can choose whether to have mitsuba (Japanese wild parsley) or not. I chose to have it. Smooth and creamy steamed egg custard with a generous portion. Two scallops and plenty of imitation crab meat. Although the amount of ingredients seemed a bit lacking for a special dish, the taste was great!
- Sweet shrimp x2
The balance was off when placed on half of the sushi rice. It was half-frozen and not good at all. I had to order additional regular ones from the conveyor belt.
- Seafood salad
I like this dish. However, the one served was clearly from the conveyor belt and not fresh. Luckily, I was able to slip in during a quiet time.
Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you.Visited in December, on a Friday, from 12:20 to 13:05.

I went to Kirakira Sushi in Harajuku and tried their unique dishes such as Shari Crepe with Salmon Cream Cheese and seared Ebi Avocado Sushi. I arrived at 12:30 on a weekday and there were already about 15 people waiting with their issued tickets. The numbers were called randomly, not in numerical order. The Shari Crepe was made at a sweets-specific cooking area in the middle of the restaurant. The crepe had a yellow center and purple outer layer, with a crispy texture on the outside and a chewy center. The Seared Ebi Avocado Sushi was served in half an avocado with rice, shrimp, and mayonnaise on top. It had a creamy texture and was a unique twist on traditional sushi. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and the food at Kirakira Sushi in Harajuku.

"Kura Sushi Harajuku Store" is located inside the YM Square, a complex commercial facility near Tokyu Plaza Omotesando. This store is different from the others! It is the "Kura Sushi Global Flagship Store 3" and pays great attention to the space, perfectly matching the clientele in Harajuku. The atmosphere is stunning, like being in a theme park. Each table has a noren curtain, giving a sense of privacy. Chopsticks, soy sauce, and pickled ginger are all placed inside the lid in the center of the table (which was quite deep and hard to reach). The seating is also tatami style!!! The final payment is completely unmanned, so I didn't have to interact with the staff until the end. Kura Sushi has definitely improved in taste. Wasabi is self-serve, and there is salt available too. I enjoyed the squid with salt. Considering the rent, this tenant alone would definitely be in the red. Definitely worth a visit!!

This sushi restaurant, unlike the typical roadside or station-front kura sushi, has a spacious and cozy interior with a traditional Japanese feel and soft wooden accents, suitable for families and couples. Additionally, there is a mysterious terrace where you can see Tokyo Tower. The shrimp avocado roll, squid tempura roll, halas, and chawanmushi were all excellent.

Visited the restaurant on a Saturday night with a friend. Made a reservation online so we were able to enter smoothly. We were there for the BT21 collaboration. Ate 25 plates of sushi and tried the "Bikkura Pon" game 5 times, but all were misses. It feels more like a place to have fun rather than just eat sushi. The TATA wagashi was cute.

【Positive Points】
- Best cost performance!
- You can enjoy a wide variety of dishes and desserts from sushi restaurants to crepes!
- When you order crepes, you go pick them up yourself. Let's go pick them up together with two people!
- You can eat crepes on the terrace!
【Concerns】
- The terrace cannot be used in case of rain
- It gets very crowded, so reservations are essential!! You can make reservations through an app called "EPARK"! (Receive a queue number for the desired date and time)

I entered the restaurant around 18:00 for dinner. I felt like eating sushi, so I went to this nearby restaurant. The interior was different from other Kura Sushi locations and had a sense of entertainment! Come to think of it, I think it was featured on TV a few years ago. I sat at a table and ordered hamachi, salmon, maguro, taro, shirako ponzu, gunkan, akagai, tsubugai, engawa, tekka maki, chawanmushi. It's a great place to eat quickly and easily before heading home. Thank you for the meal. *PayPay is accepted.

An advanced digital shop with a modern Japanese interior. The taste is so-so, but the atmosphere is bright and entertaining, making it a good option for families and tourists. They offer a variety of sweets and exclusive items at the Harajuku store. Sushi is a bit pricey, as well as the desserts. The digital setup is great for COVID-19 prevention measures.

I was a bit skeptical about conveyor belt sushi, but it turned out to be delicious from the start and I ended up eating a lot. This was my first time at Kura Sushi, so I ended up trying only the sushi that caught my eye and couldn't make room for ramen or crepes, which was a shame. The restaurant is spacious but has few seats, and it's too popular so the wait was too long. There were not enough staff members to greet customers upon entering, which was the only downside. But I still want to come back! Next time, I'll make a reservation.

♡----Harajuku Gourmet----♡ While passing by Meiji Jingu-mae, we decided to check out this restaurant that caught our attention. It turned out to be "Kura Sushi," a place we had never been to before. The interior had a modern neon design, with self-service reception and automated checkout. There were both counter seats and private booths, but most people preferred the private booths, so it's faster to enter without waiting for a counter seat. Once you make a reservation, you can enjoy sushi peacefully in a spacious private booth even if you're dining alone. The bustling outside world completely disappears, and you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere here. You order via a touch panel, and the dishes arrive promptly. I apologize for not taking any photos as I wasn't in the mood, but I did get a Gachapon prize of Son Goku on my second try, which was unexpected. I regret not ordering the crepe sushi, a limited edition item at this store. It seems to be quite visually appealing. The highball was excellent, with just the right strength. I ended my Kura Sushi experience with some sushi and a highball, settled the bill, visited the restroom, and discovered a terrace at the back. I enjoyed a brief moment of relaxation and a nice view of Harajuku before heading back. The limited terrace at the Harajuku store was a pleasant surprise. It was a quick and enjoyable experience. First time at Kura Sushi. Just so you know, you need to make a reservation to enter the Harajuku store. The ikura, dashimaki, and ebi tempura rolls were especially delicious. It's cheap, but the staff lacks cleanliness. Business hours are from 11:00 to 23:00, no regular holidays. Credit cards and QR code payments are accepted.
