I will definitely go check it out right away! The store features three brands: Butter's Cousin, Brown Cheese Brother (NEW!), and Kona and Spice (NEW!). Kona and Spice, a curry bread brand launched on July 6, 2022, has a big impact with its name and packaging. The curry bread is produced by Chef Hara, the owner of "PATH." It was surprising to taste a curry bread that was unlike anything I had tried before! It's clear that it's not the typical idea of a bakery, but rather a chef's creation. The inside contains authentic Indian curry, so it's not like the taste of Western-style curry. It has a hint of Thai curry with a coconut aroma. The sauce and minced chicken are likely filled separately, so when you heat it up, the runny sauce bursts out! I had never eaten such a juicy curry bread before. Curry bread usually has some negative aspects, such as not being as good as when freshly fried, the oil getting rancid over time, too much wheat binder in the curry filling, the unique taste of "curry bread curry" not being the same as regular curry roux, the filling being too little, and empty spaces forming between the bread dough and filling. However, this curry bread solved all those negative aspects. The fact that it's baked, not fried, is also a point to note. This deliciousness is worth stocking up in the freezer. Moreover, it's a vending machine limited edition Samantha Thavasa collaboration with a limited-time salted caramel flavor! I thought, I have to buy this as a travel companion, and I pressed the button on the vending machine. Although I was also interested in another limited-time red bean butter flavor, as a salted caramel lover, the salted caramel flavor took priority. The price is 970 yen for a pack of 3, which is a decent price, but the milk jam sandwiched inside is a very delicious treat. I had been curious about the butter shop's vending machine for a while. Even though the store was open, I couldn't buy from the vending machine. But when I passed by during the closed hours, I made my first purchase from the vending machine. I ate the snack inside the machine. It had a taste like "butter's cousin," as the name suggests. It has a buttery taste, but definitely a different flavor. It's soft and easy to eat because it's squishy.

I saw it on Ekimise Shinagawa's Instagram and decided to go there right away. The location was a bit hard to find, and I ended up walking around in circles. The taste was just average. I tried it once and that was enough for me. It would have been better if they sold them individually so we could enjoy 3 different flavors.
