The hot coffee had a mild bitterness and acidity, with a taste that was easy to drink but felt lacking. Overall, for 250 yen, I didn't expect much, but I still felt unsatisfied. This is the McDonald's located on the first floor of Aries at the north exit of Narimasu Station. The entrance is not very noticeable, but the red sign stands out, and the McDonald's logo on the window can be seen from afar. The counter seats by the window are narrow due to the curve, but the sunlight shines through, creating a bright and open atmosphere. The table seats felt a bit cramped. I tried the revived Morinaga Milk Caramel shake for the first time! It's quite sweet, but has a subtle caramel flavor, different from the vanilla shake. Even during lunchtime, it wasn't too crowded, making it a hidden gem!

I came to Narimasu for the first time in over 40 years. I used to live in this town from 2nd to 4th grade. When I got off at the station, I was surprised to see that there is a Seiyu connected to it and that a subway station has been built at Narimasu Station, making the rotary on the Kawagoe Kaido side very open. I arrived too early, so I had iced coffee at the McDonald's on the north side. I pay for McDonald's coffee with my docomo points, so I don't use cash every time. The taste is consistently delicious, no matter which McDonald's you go to. Since it was morning, the menu was limited. It was disappointing to see a lot of trash on the tables, whether it was due to a lack of staff in the morning or the manners of Narimasu residents.

Compared to the "Diner Double Beef" burger that was available until Monday, the basic ingredients are the same, but the change is the addition of salsa sauce and lettuce cut to resemble tacos. In simple terms, it's a similar product to "tacos." However, it's delicious! Using a coupon, it's only 360 yen, which is a good deal, right? I think it can definitely compete with Mos Burger. It's probably named this way because "Double Beef Burger with Salsa Sauce Flavor" sounds uncool, don't you think?

The restaurant seems to have a lot of customers, probably because it's close to the station. The fact that most of the seating area is glass-walled gives it an open and airy feel, which is a nice feature.

On January 26th (Tuesday), it was sunny and I planned to go to "Jonathan's" but it was unexpectedly full, so I went to the "McDonald's" downstairs. Luckily, there was a warm seat by the window available, so I was fortunate. I ordered the "Avocado Bacon Lettuce Burger" for 390 yen, the "Filet-O-Fish" for 310 yen, and a small coffee for 100 yen, totaling 800 yen. The lunch at Jonathan's costs 690 yen and the set meal at Nichihiyoko costs 650 yen, so today's lunch was a bit more expensive than usual, but it was good. The "Avocado..." burger had a generous amount of avocado and lettuce, which was nice. The coffee was also tasty for just 100 yen. Sometimes, McDonald's is not so bad. Sorry if I sounded a bit condescending.

Once again, it's the season for "Tsukimi Burger". For me, it's like a New Year's traditional dish, and I feel like autumn has arrived when I eat it. The restaurant I went to this year was this one. I had the "Tsukimi Burger Set" (639 yen) with a premium roast coffee. The taste was the same as last year. Thank you for the meal. McDonald's has been smoke-free in all stores since August. It's a welcome change for non-smokers.

No matter which exit you take at Narimasu Station, there is a McDonald's. Come to think of it, there's also a Mos Burger on both sides. Because of that, I end up eating there without fail... No matter how many times I eat there, it never disappoints. It may seem obvious, but it's amazing. It's really difficult to consistently do something that seems obvious. Here, I always go for a Big Mac. And some fries. The saltiness is just right. I just can't stop, I can't resist... McDonald's is truly amazing, isn't it?

This time, I used it for dinner. It was a take-out order. McDonald's is said to be putting more effort into their chicken dishes, so I decided to try the Shake Shake Chicken and Chicken McNuggets. This store also has self-service. Order details: Chicken McNuggets 260 yen, Shake Shake Chicken 100 yen, Cafe Latte (S) 190 yen. The Shake Shake Chicken has a taste similar to chicken breast, but surprisingly the meat is very tender. The Chicken McNuggets also had a nice crispy texture on the outside. It would be nice if the menu and prices were displayed more clearly, as you can't see them until right before paying. Overall, McDonald's is still highly recommended for its 100 yen menu items at this major fast food chain.

I also wanted to eat, so I bought 15 pieces of nuggets while shopping. Since it's the usual 3-piece size, I could choose 3 sauces. I chose 2 curry sauces and 1 ginger sauce for my daughter. I kept 5 nuggets for myself as a snack with alcohol, and the ginger sauce goes well with chu-hi. The curry sauce is pretty standard. It's a limited-time offer, but 15 pieces for 400 yen is a good deal!
