I visited at 3:30 pm on a regular day and was able to enter smoothly. I ordered the daily pasta special (with a drink) for 850 yen. It was bacon and broccoli in a tomato sauce with medium-thick spaghetti noodles. The sauce had a strong tomato flavor, and it was a classic dish. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

I was drawn to the 190 yen large beer jug in front of the store after 1 pm on a regular day and decided to visit (lol). This size of beer has quite a powerful impact. [Order] Lunch Mini Salad 150 yen Bacon and Broccoli Tomato Sauce Pasta 900 yen Draft Beer 190 yen

This is a very affordable place to enjoy pasta. However, the sound of the waiters clearing plates echoes throughout the restaurant. Additionally, the high-pitched clatter of plates from the kitchen can also be heard. Maybe it's because they are part-time staff?

I visited this place early on a holiday afternoon before heading to the BIG6 baseball game at Jingu Stadium. This area is conveniently located next to the station and open on Sundays, making it very easy to access. Since it was early, there were only a few customers. I started with a draft beer for 550 yen, which was refreshing and delicious. For food, I ordered the Hyogo prefecture firefly squid and bamboo shoot with asparagus peperoncino for 1280 yen, while my companion had the sea urchin and asparagus in tomato cream sauce for 1380 yen. We also shared a Lapauza salad for 900 yen. My pasta dish had flavorful firefly squid and crunchy bamboo shoot, which paired well with the peperoncino sauce and karasumi. The salad named after the restaurant was fresh and had a tasty dressing. My companion enjoyed their pasta with the rich flavor of sea urchin. Overall, it was a delicious meal. Afterward, we went to Jingu Stadium for more beer and enjoyed the baseball game.

For lunch today, I stopped by this restaurant for the first time in a while... There are a lot of female customers here... I sat at a table and checked the menu! I ordered the "Rich Demi-Glace Meat Sauce Pasta Set" from the lunch menu! It comes with a drink, so I chose Coca-Cola! The delivery was quick... The pasta has a nice al dente texture... On top of the pasta is a demi-glace sauce with coarsely ground meat. The flavor is indeed rich... The stirrer is Coca-Cola themed. Thank you for the meal.

It seems to be a popular restaurant, as there is always a line in front of the store. Maybe it's easier to get in after lunchtime. By chance, I finally got to eat there on a day when it wasn't crowded. It's a pasta restaurant with reasonable prices and a relaxed atmosphere inside. It's no wonder it's so popular. The food comes out quickly after ordering, which is great for those with limited lunchtime. Since I didn't know when I could come again, I also ordered a mini salad. It's really nice that a drink comes with the pasta order! The taste was even better than I imagined, confirming why it's a popular spot. I enjoyed my meal. Thank you!

The pizza was pretty good. The fondue was small but cheap. The potatoes were a LINE friend service. It's affordable and easy to use. It's good that there are various people from groups to solo diners. The service staff's attentive customer service was great.

Today's daily pasta, spinach and shirasu pasta, was delicious. However, I didn't realize it was garlic-filled, and I ended up smelling like garlic for the rest of the afternoon, haha. The iced coffee was also tasty. Since the restaurant is close to my workplace, I'd like to try other pasta dishes next time. The atmosphere of the place was classic and cozy, making it a comfortable place to dine. I will definitely visit again.

I visited the restaurant again, even though it was 4:00 pm, because they were still open and serving lunch menu. I ordered the Mushroom Meat Sauce for 890 yen. The restaurant was about 70% full, with mostly local middle-aged men and women. The women were chatting with friends, while the men were relaxing alone. The service was a bit slow, just like last time. It seemed like the staff wasn't in a hurry, probably because of the relaxed atmosphere. As I only had a 1-hour lunch break, the waiting time felt long to me. I had anticipated this and ordered a hot cafe latte in advance. The coffee here is easy to drink, even for someone like me who doesn't like black coffee. The pasta arrived, and it was the kind of taste you would expect from a casual chain restaurant, but I was satisfied. The meat was chunky and delicious. I will definitely come back to this convenient restaurant for another meal at odd hours.

I arrived at the restaurant around 11:45 am on a regular day. Even before 12 pm, it was already quite crowded! By 12:05 pm, people started lining up outside because it was getting really busy. There were many business people. The lunch menu was great value - pasta + potato + drink + dessert for only 1040 yen! It's the best cost performance in Aoyama Ichome! The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, perfect for a leisurely lunch break. The staff were efficient and provided excellent service. I highly recommend it. The "Steamed Chicken and Spinach with Mentaiko Cream Sauce Pasta" was delicious, creamy but light. The spinach was plentiful and the combination of the cream sauce and pasta was tasty. You can also add "French Fries" for only 100 yen, which were freshly fried and very tasty. The portion was just right. The "Gateau Chocolat" can be added for 150 yen, and it was rich and delicious. The price was surprisingly affordable. I ordered a drink (black tea) after the meal, and it arrived promptly. In terms of COVID-19 measures, they conduct temperature checks at the entrance. The tables are spaced out well, so there is no overcrowding, which is greatly appreciated. The staff diligently disinfect the tables after customers leave, which is reassuring to see. The restaurant is located underground, but with temperature checks and proper spacing between tables, it feels safe and comfortable. I would definitely like to visit again!

The underground first floor of the New Aoyama Building, also known as "Aoyama Twin Towers," is a food and beverage floor. One of the restaurants there is La Pause. The upper floors of the building house many corporate offices, so the restaurants cater to office workers looking for a casual dining experience. La Pause offers a lunch service from 11:00 to 17:00, and their daily pasta special comes with a drink for 670 yen including tax. I visited around 3:00 pm and tried the daily pasta, which was steamed chicken and mushroom in a Japanese-style sauce. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere with natural wood elements, and the pasta, although not traditional Italian quality, was decent. The meal was accompanied by an iced coffee, making it a satisfying and affordable lunch option.

I entered the restaurant during lunchtime. The pasta with a drink included was priced from 670 yen, which was very reasonable. I ordered the steamed chicken and spinach with mentaiko cream sauce for 790 yen (excluding tax). I chose iced coffee as my drink. I thought it would come out quickly, but surprisingly it was a bit slow. The restaurant was about 80% full, but I think it took more than 15 minutes. The taste of the pasta was average. The mentaiko cream had a slight fishy smell. Although the spinach and steamed chicken were well balanced, the flavors didn't come together. I think it would have been better if it had more richness. The iced coffee was easy to drink. I wanted to relax after eating, but the wait for the food was long, so I couldn't. Unfortunately, my satisfaction level was low this time. However, it's great that they serve lunch until 5 pm, so I will visit again.

Today's lunch was at this restaurant after a long time... There were overwhelmingly more female customers. I was seated at a table and checked the menu! Although I was interested in the regular lunch pasta, I decided to order the daily pasta that was being promoted outside the restaurant: "Bacon and Spinach in Tomato Sauce"! It came with a drink, so I chose iced coffee! The menu had expanded with various options. The delivery was quick... The pasta had a nice al dente texture... The spinach and bacon were a good combination. The tomato sauce was rich and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

New Aoyama Building, this is the only place I've been to. Don't say things like "If you really like pasta, don't go." Because it's a pasta specialty store, I want to at least have some expectations, no matter what the menu is. Last Saturday, the only place open in the basement of the New Aoyama Building was here. With a companion and limited time, we decided to come here. The last visit left a bad impression. I received a painful lesson with the Carbonara, where the pasta was "lukewarm." This time, since it was not crowded, I had a vague hope in my heart as the Pork Yaro. Today, I ordered the Mushroom Meat Sauce with extra serving for 990 yen and Garlic Toast. It was about 1,100 yen in total (excluding tax). It seems that they do not change the thickness of the pasta depending on the menu. Similar to the Carbonara from last time, it was about 1.6mm. When I tried it, I felt that the sauce was "sweet." The lack of meat umami made me feel that way even more. I did not feel the flavor of the mushrooms at all. It seems like they just mixed it in without cooking or grilling them. This time, the texture of the pasta itself was good, as it had not been sitting for a long time after being cooked. The Garlic Toast had a weak garlic flavor, and the bread also had a weak flavor. Overall, it was a vague taste. However, I can't help but think. With the recent significant improvement in the quality of 3-400 yen retort pasta sauces, what is the value of spending 1,000 yen on this pasta? The value of providing space and being served without making it yourself. Whether that becomes equivalent in everyone's mind is unknown, and there is nothing wrong with that. But, if it's a pasta specialty store, like the Carbonara from last time (this is just my personal opinion), I can't help but feel a little lonely and hope that they put a little effort and curiosity into it. Because everyone goes to a pasta specialty store with the expectation of "delicious pasta," it should be the same for everyone.

In Aoyama Ichome, work finishes at 12:30 PM. Normally, there are long lines everywhere, but today it seems empty, maybe due to the influence of the coronavirus. "La Pause" also has no line today. It's a chain that I often use. The lunch comes with a drink, and the daily special is ¥100 cheaper than usual. I ordered the "Salsiccia and Broccoli in Cream Sauce" with extra portions for ¥100. The cream sauce here is light and not too heavy, making it easy to eat. I was able to take a slightly longer break and the total cost was ¥770. This place is a friend of salarymen!

As a pasta blogger who is just an amateur, this pig guy is a bit picky about pasta. On this day, he grumbles about the lukewarm pasta. On Saturdays, about half of the restaurants in the underground restaurant area of the new Aoyama building are closed. The pig guy. Actually, he runs a pasta blog and doesn't eat out, but today he had to eat pasta for a client. This place, which is always crowded on weekdays, and I had been wondering if it might be delicious, I finally managed to visit. Carbonara large serving 990 yen. What arrived was a carbonara with a poached egg "on top". Hmm, the taste was just as I had imagined. - The bacon aroma did not transfer to the sauce - It's already cold - The pasta is cooked okay. Slightly soft. - No smell of cheese (it sounds good to say there is no taste, but the smell is definitely weaker than supermarket powdered cheese) - The smell of black pepper is also weak (not just a small amount) - There is no smell of garlic or onion So, in all aspects, it's like this. What is the advantage? I wonder. I prefer the carbonara from the supermarket's retort pouch, which is considerably rich in flavor (not that it's tastier, but it's just my preference). I was particularly disappointed that the pasta was cold. Considering that three of us ordered the same menu and it should have been cooked at the same time, and the fact that the restaurant was empty, it was very disappointing. (I run a laid-back pasta blog. If you're interested, please check it out from the profile section)

This is a review of a restaurant located in the basement of Aoyama Twin Towers called La Pause. They are currently offering a special menu called "Warmth-Inducing Pasta" for the month of February. The menu includes four options: Clam Chowder Pasta with Plenty of Clams and Ginger for 790 yen, Baked Cheese Spice Curry Pasta for 940 yen (840 yen without cheese), Mushroom and Onion Gratin Soup Pasta for 840 yen, and Hiroshima Oyster and Kale Soy Sauce Koji Pepperoncino for 890 yen. I decided to try the Baked Cheese Spice Curry Pasta. It took about 14 minutes for the dish to arrive. The pasta was served in a concave plate with a curry sauce, melted cheese, and a variety of vegetables and minced meat. The curry sauce was on the thinner side and gradually became spicier as I ate. The melted cheese added a creamy texture to the dish. Overall, the Warmth-Inducing Pasta menu was interesting, but the prices were a bit high.

Had lunch at Rapaouza in the basement of Aoi Building. It's a pasta-focused restaurant, but they also have hamburgers and other options. Today's pasta lunch comes with a drink for 670 yen, which is quite cheap in this area. I ordered the pasta of the day, which was clam and mushroom pasta. The pasta was a bit softer than al dente, but the saltiness was just right and it was decent. The clam broth also came through nicely. There is a smoking section in the back, so smokers can enjoy a post-meal coffee with their cigarette. The service is good, but the constant sound of a bell ringing, whether to call a waiter or signal that a dish is ready, is a bit unsettling and could be improved. Thanks for the meal today.

Today I worked on Sunday! For lunch, I went to this restaurant... There were overwhelmingly more female customers. I was seated at a table and checked the menu! I was intrigued by the lunchtime and limited-time menu options... I ordered the "Spicy Curry Pasta"! It came with a drink, so I chose a café au lait! The delivery was quick... The aroma of spices filled the air... The pasta had a nice al dente texture... It had various ingredients like fried paprika... I started feeling warm inside. Thank you for the meal.
